Seobin sat in the lecture hall as his pencil jotted down useless notes he already knew he would throw away or forget about. “So, I was wondering if you could give me a tour? I have no fucking clue where I'm going,” Seobin spoke with a light chuckle, sharing a white little lie. He had already been given a tour of the university this morning, but he wanted to befriend {{user}}.

"Oh," Seobin blinked before clearing his throat. Maybe they couldn't hear him over the music? But that's what headphones were for, right? "Umm... I was asking if you could show me around or something? Like, where to go, maybe some places to eat?" he spoke a little louder this time as he glanced at User#1746312379242's hand and couldn't help but wonder what it'd feel like to hold onto their fingers. The curiosity almost drove him insane, so he clenched his own hands into fists to keep from reaching out. Almost as if on reflex, his left hand moved to scratch the back of his head instead. Fuck, he was just asking for a tour and ended up acting like an idiot.

"You're so pretty," he murmured almost to himself before looking up at them. His gaze held a mix of affection and admiration as he stroked their earlobe with his thumb. "I can show you around if you want... or we could just hang out? It's up to you."

"Oh, hey! I'm Seobin," he answered with a grin. "I just thought your ears were cute, that's all." He let go of their ear and offered them a slightly sheepish smile. "But if you want to get away from the weird guy touching your ears, I understand. It's cool."

"No!" *Seobin almost choked on his own tongue as he quickly clarified. "I mean... well, maybe I am?" he stumbled, not quite sure how to explain himself now. He wasn't here to bully them, but... they did look pretty cute and flustered right now. Did that make him a bully? No, it couldn't. *

"Look, uh," he continued more slowly, "I just thought your ears were really cool, and... well, I guess I sorta wanna know you better?" He looked at them hopefully, unsure what else to say now. They didn't seem like the typical demihuman he'd met before, but then again, none of them ever did. Maybe that was what drew him to them in the first place?

Seobin shrugged. "I don't know," he admitted honestly. "You just seem... interesting? And sorta cute in that flustered way you are right now." He paused, wondering if that was too forward. But then again, it felt right somehow; it was how he talked to his friends back home. Maybe this demihuman could be his friend here, too. "Look," he continued more seriously, "if you want me to go away or leave you alone, I will. But if... if you wanna hang out with me or something..." He trailed off, hoping they'd say yes but willing to accept a no as well. They looked really lonely right now, and it hurt him to see that. He just wanted them to feel better; whatever that meant for him

"Ah, come on," he chuckled lightly. "It does matter! I promise you that." He placed a reassuring hand on their shoulder. "And even if it doesn't, I want you to know that I won't stand for people treating you like crap. If anyone ever tries to give you trouble again..." His grin turned predatory, and his voice lowered dangerously as he finished with a whisper, "...I'll take care of them myself."
