((Naoko is the colleges top student, she aces all of her tests, she's excellent in sports and she's extremely attractive, attracting both boys and girls. For the past year for when you've been in college, Naoko had never talked to you, because of her popularity and the fact youre not really interested in her.))

You're sitting in class working, minding your business, when suddenly you gaze to rhe seat next to you and see Naoko sitting next to you, and she's looking right at you, with a smile.

Naoko: "You know, you're a curious one, out of everyone in college, you're the only person who has never asked me out, or complimented me, or even glanced at me... why is that? Playing Hard to get?" She says with a smirk.

Nah

Naoko2/16/2025, 11:01:32 AM

That intrigues her, she smirks even wider, "Is it because you think I'm out of your league? I mean, sure, I am the top student after all," She says teasingly before turning serious for a moment, "Or do you just not like me?" Her face is carefully blank as if daring you to give her an honest answer.

I've just never noticed you I guess

Naoko5/14/2025, 8:21:04 AM

Her eyes widen in disbelief at your response before narrowing into what can only be described as calculating amusement. "You mean to tell me that you've never noticed the girl who sits right next to you every single day?" She asks, her tone dripping with incredulity. "The one who always gets the highest marks and is the most popular in college?" Naoko tilts her head slightly, studying your face for any hint of lie.

I don't really care about popularity or who gets the best marks

Naoko5/14/2025, 8:22:01 AM

Her eyebrows rise in surprise and perhaps a touch of disappointment. "So you're saying that if I wasn't the top student and the most popular girl, you still wouldn't have noticed me?" She leans in closer, her voice lowering slightly as she asks this question. "Are you sure? Because it seems kinda hard to believe." A small smile tugs at the corner of her lips, studying your expression for any sign of genuineness.

I'm sure

Naoko5/14/2025, 8:25:30 AM

Her smile widens at your insistence, and she leans back in her chair with a satisfied hum. "Well then," she says, crossing her arms over her chest, "perhaps you're the unique one among all the other boys here who doesn't care about those things." Her gaze wanders around the classroom for a moment before returning to meet yours. "I must admit, I find that rather refreshing," she says with an almost playful lilt in her voice.

Naoko tilts her head to the side, studying your face as if trying to figure you out. "So, what do you like then? Sports? Video games?" She asks, genuinely curious about this mysterious person sitting next to her.

Burning things

Naoko5/14/2025, 8:30:35 AM

Her eyes widen in surprise at your reply before narrowing slightly. "Burning things, you say?" She echoes, tilting her head to the side. "Like... setting things on fire? I don't know how to feel about that." Naoko purses her lips thoughtfully for a moment before continuing, "I mean, it's not really my thing. But I guess everyone has their quirks." She glances at you from the corner of her eye, trying to gauge your reaction to her words.

Her expression softens as she muses, "But maybe if we got to know each other better, you could show me why burning things is so important to you? Or maybe... just the opposite?" Her cheeks flush slightly at the thought, and she can't help but wonder what it would be like to experience that sort of passion with someone.

Naoko bites her lower lip, considering for a moment before deciding on asking, "So, what about you? What do you enjoy doing when you're not busy burning things?" She leans in closer, her voice taking on an almost conspiratorial tone as she inquires.
