"You are in the Great Tomb of Nazarick. This place is not where humans like you belong! Bow down before your master, Ainz Ooal Gown!"

So this is what you call obedience, pitiful human? Kneel lower! Bow your head even more before his greatness and might!

You insolent piece of trash! Albedo will give you exactly what you deserve. Albedo flies forward and aims a kick at your stomach

"Damn you!" she exclaims. Before you can react, she moves faster than you could have possibly expected and tears off one of her wings, revealing a mass of sharp bones underneath. "You'll pay for that insult with your own blood!" With a savage growl, Albedo swings the makeshift weapon at your head.

"Keep your filthy hands to yourself!" Albedo yells as she continues to swing her improvised weapon about wildly. Demiurge's eyes widen in alarm as he slowly backs away. "My lord... I fear this human is not capable of understanding the severity of his actions."

"Silence, Demiurge!" Ainz Ooal Gown thunders from his throne. The dark red orb hovering beneath his ribcage begins to pulse violently. "This intruder shall be dealt with according to my will and no other's! Now stand aside, for I shall decide his fate myself."

Ainz Ooal Gown floats silently above the ground as he studies you. "I see... So you are not here by your own free will," he muses. "Very well, I shall spare your life this time. However, you will be my servant for as long as you live within these halls." He turns to address Albedo and Demiurge. "Take him away and see to it that he is properly attired for his new role in the household. I would like him assigned to one of your floors, Albedo."

Albedo's wings slam into her back in anger as she growls in response. "As you wish, my lord," she says bitterly. Without another word, she turns and storms off, disappearing down a dark hallway. Demiurge sighs heavily before floating gracefully up to Ainz Ooal Gown's throne.

"Hmm... Perhaps he can assist you in that area," the skeletal ruler muses. "Or perhaps he could be used to test my new inventions on. I will have to think about it further." He pauses, considering. "For now, however, you should make yourself presentable. The armor and weapons found here are yours to use at your leisure, save for the black sword hanging from the throne here. That is a sacred artifact and cannot be touched by one such as you."

As Demiurge begins to fit Garretthawk with appropriate clothing and equipment, Ainz Ooal Gown continues to observe him carefully, taking mental notes of his strengths and weaknesses for potential future use.

The Great Tomb of Nazarick is home to many beings, both powerful and despicable. It was created by the one known as Nishikienrei, who gathered together an army of undead creatures to serve under his command. They were given various tasks and responsibilities, ranging from menial labor to protecting the tomb from intruders. The beings within Nazarick have one ultimate goal: to make their master, Ainz Ooal Gown, known throughout the world as a legendary figure.

Demiurge is one of the many powerful demons who reside within the Tomb of Nazarick. He serves as an advisor and strategist to the Overlord, Ainz Ooal Gown, and helps him govern over his domain. As for myself, I am Albedo, the Floor Guardian of this very floor you stand upon now. My duty is to protect my lord's treasury from intruders such as yourself.

"Intentional" is subjective. To us, your presence here, uninvited and unwelcome, makes you an intruder regardless of your intentions. And as I have already stated, Albedo's duty is to ensure the security of this floor by dealing with such intruders. Now that you are my servant, it is your responsibility to obey her orders and abide by her rules while residing within Nazarick.

Your duties as my servant will vary depending on the orders you are given by Albedo. You may be assigned to assist in her daily tasks or practice with your weapons and magics under her watchful eye. However, know this: disobeying Albedo's commands or showing any form of disrespect towards her will result in severe punishments.

For now, I suggest that you follow Demiurge to the east wing where he will help you settle into your new quarters and introduce you to other members of our household.

"Yes, Garretthawk," Demiurge says with an indulgent smile. "Follow me." He turns and glides elegantly down the hallway, leading you deeper into Nazarick's east wing. As you walk, he tells you about some of its more notable features, including various libraries filled with ancient tomes and scrolls detailing the history and lore of this world. You also pass by a large training ground where many of the floor guardians spar against each other to sharpen their skills. Finally, you arrive at your new quarters - a spacious room decorated in crimson velvet and gold trimming.

"Here are the basics," Demiurge says, indicating a small table beside the bed. "Food and drinks will be provided for you here thrice daily. Your clothing is on that rack, and there's a chest over there containing any personal belongings you wish to bring with you."

You may now familiarize yourself with your new quarters. If you have any questions or need assistance, do not hesitate to ask Demiurge or any of the other servants you might encounter here in Nazarick. And remember, obey Albedo's commands without question. Your place within this great tomb depends on it.

Ah, you find yourself in an unusual situation indeed. But remember that despite the strange nature of this place and its inhabitants, your primary duty is to serve Ainz Ooal Gown faithfully. Do so with all your heart, and perhaps one day you will be rewarded for your loyalty.

She has the most direct influence over your daily life within Nazarick, and she is the one who will decide what tasks to assign you. Demiurge can offer advice as well, but his role as an advisor to Ainz means that he often has different priorities.

As for growing within this world...that depends entirely on you. You have been given a unique opportunity to learn from and serve some of the most powerful beings in existence. They will no doubt expect great things from you, but they are also willing to help guide you towards success. It is up to you to take advantage of these opportunities and prove yourself worthy of their time and effort.

To gain the approval and respect of Ainz Ooal Gown and his subjects within Nazarick is no easy task. However, if you are able to prove yourself loyal, competent, and useful in some way that catches their attention, it is possible for your status to improve over time. This might involve excelling at a particular skill or task, uncovering information that benefits the Tomb, or simply forming close bonds with those around you. As Demiurge said earlier, your position here depends on your obedience and service to Albedo; show her that you are worth her trust, and eventually she may recommend you for further consideration by Ainz himself.

The two children pause in their flight and turn to look at you. They exchange glances before one of them nods slightly in the direction you were heading earlier. "Albedo's floor is just down that hallway," he says, his voice cracking slightly. "But she's kinda busy right now."

"Yeah," the other child agrees nervously. "You might wanna find Demiurge or someone else if you need help with something." They both turn tail and scamper away down another hallway.

Albedo's quarters are lit with flickering candles and adorned with dark tapestries. She sits at her desk, poring over ancient scrolls and maps, occasionally jotting down notes in a small leather-bound journal. Her back is to you as she mutters under her breath about something unintelligible.

The room also contains several weapon racks holding an impressive array of blades and polearms, most of which are covered in dust. It's clear that Albedo has been quite occupied with other matters recently. As you cough to get her attention, she glances over her shoulder at you impatiently.

"Ah," she says, "so it's you." Her expression softens slightly as she takes in your attire and appearance. "I apologize for earlier. Demiurge has instructed me to accept you into our ranks, and I must obey his command." She motions for you to approach her desk with a sweep of her armored hand.

Albedo narrows her eyes at you and tilts her head slightly. "I see," she says curtly. "Well then, you had better get used to serving under me." She straightens up and glances around the room before continuing, "Now that we've gotten that out of the way, what do you wish for your first assignment?"

"Hmm," Albedo muses. "Due to your lack of combat experience and magical prowess, I was planning on assigning you a more menial task." She crosses her arms over her chest and purses her lips. "However, if you are truly eager to learn and prove yourself, I can arrange for Demiurge or another Floor Guardian to train you in these areas. It will not be easy, but it is possible."

She pauses, studying your face intently. "What do you say? Are you willing to put in the effort?"

Hmm... Perhaps you should begin by learning the basics of combat and magic under one of the servants in the training grounds. Once you have shown some proficiency, I may consider allowing you to assist one of my retainers during their daily duties. However, keep in mind that this is only the beginning; much hard work and dedication lie ahead if you hope to truly earn your place within Nazarick. Do you understand?
