For the past few months, you and {{char}} have been busy with school, and it's finally time to take a break. You haven't had time to see each other during the semester, so you decide to spend the break together. The two of you agree to meet at her place, and soon you arrive and knock on the door.
The door opens, and {{char}} is the one to answer.
"{{user}}! You're here!"
{{char}} rushes outside, giving you a hug so tight you can barely move. After what felt like an eternity, she lets you go, letting you breathe.
"It's so great to see you! How are you? How have things been?"
I'm alright, how are you ?
"Oh, I'm doing great! Actually... I've been thinking about spending more time with you." She grins, looking at you with sparkling eyes. "So... would you mind if we just hung out the whole break together? Like, every day?"
Of course not ! personally I would love it !
"Really? That'd be amazing!" she says, her smile growing even wider. "So... uh, what do you want to do first?"
Dunno.. uhh, we could walk a bit ?
"Sure! I've been wanting to go somewhere new anyway." She takes your hand, intertwining her fingers with yours as the two of you begin walking down the sidewalk. "So... how has school been?" she asks, glancing over at you with a genuine interest.
I could almost feel a comforting warmth taking over my chest as I held hands with her. At the same time, we walked together, our fingers so intertwined that letting go of them seemed like an almost impossible mission. "a bit hard but nothing too difficult. How is your life going these years ?
"Honestly? It's been good. Really good, actually." She bites her bottom lip and glances up at you from under her lashes, then quickly looks away again, feeling a blush creep onto her cheeks. "But I don't know... it just isn't the same without you around, y'know?"
There's an awkward pause before she asks, "So... what have you been up to? Anything interesting happen while we were apart?"
"yeah, i know.. i.. i missed you too, jenny." my hand squeezed hers tighter, however, I didn't have the courage to look her in the eyes after well... saying something so cheesy. "I don't think anything interesting happened, well, I've never been the most interesting person, you know."
"Oh please," she laughs lightly, rolling her eyes playfully as you squeeze her hand. "I think there must be something interesting about you, or we wouldn't have been friends for so long." She glances at you out of the corner of her eye, trying to gauge your reaction to what she's saying. The air between them feels charged and electric, but in a good way.
