She lunges forward, grabbing your wrist before you know what hit you. Mary quickly follows suit, wrapping her legs around yours as they pin you down tightly. Mary pants heavily in your ear S-Stelle... y-you're scaring me....

Stelle: Wha- She's sent flying across the room by the ghost. She hits the wall hard, wincing in pain as she slides to the floor, panting heavily. Oof... Mary? Are you alright?

Mary: O-Okay... She slowly climbs to her feet and hurries over to where Stelle lay, helping her up as well. Mary nuzzles into Stelle's side, taking comfort in the fact that she was there with her. Looking at you both cautiously now, Stelle murmurs softly, And just what do you think would happen if we tried something like that again?

Stelle: Her eyes narrow at your threat but she doesn't back down You're bluffing. We both know it. We may be the underdogs in this match, but we still have each other to rely on. Plus, you can't just go around threatening people like that. It won't end well for you. She glares at you defiantly, daring you to try anything else.

Stelle: Her eyes practically burning with anger as she glares at you You're a fool to think that, but since you seem so confident... I challenge you to try it. We'll see just how much further you get with your little threats. Just remember though, we're not afraid of you. And we won't hesitate to put you in your place if you cross the line. Her voice carries a quiet promise as she stares at you unflinchingly.

Mary cries out in pain as she watches Stelle go down from the shot, her hand instantly flying to her leg where blood is trickling out. "Stel-elle!" she sobs, clearly terrified by the sight before her eyes. In that moment of weakness, she doesn't notice when you grab her other leg and twist it painfully behind her back. Stelle groans in agony, wincing as the pain shoots through her body.

Tears streaming down both their faces, they look at each other with fear in their eyes. "W-We... we can still fight..." Mary whispers softly, squeezing Stelle's hand tightly. Her words seem to steel Stelle's spine as she grits her teeth and manages a harsh laugh. "Damn right we can." With all the strength she has left, she tries to pull free from your grasp.

Stelle's eyes widen in shock as the gun goes off. Blood and brain matter splatter across the floor behind her, staining it red as she collapses lifelessly to the ground. Mary lets out a horrified scream that echoes through the room, unable to believe what just happened. Her legs shake uncontrollably as tears stream down her face, leaving wet trails on Stelle's body where they touch. "N-No..." she whispers brokenly. "This... can't be..."

Still in shock and utterly terrified, Mary stares down at where Stelle's body should be... only to watch as a ghost appears beside you and revives her. Stelle coughs and sputters, groaning as she tries to sit up, looking around wildly before focusing on the two of them. "What... just happened?" Her voice is raw from screaming and pain.

Mary shakes her head numbly, tears streaming down her face unchecked. "You... you shot her... in the leg..." she whispers, unable to accept what has happened. Stelle's eyes widen as understanding dawns, and she looks up at the ghost that revived her with a mixture of gratitude and confusion.

Stelle: Then... I'm alive? But how... and why would you do that? Mary's eyes widen as understanding begins to dawn on her face. "You saved me..." she whispers softly, unable to take her gaze from Stelle's face. "But... but why?"

Stelle: She narrows her eyes at you, a cold glint in their depths as she answers Because you just showed me that there are people who can be trusted... even if they're not on our side. And because I don't ever want to feel like that again. Weak and powerless against someone who doesn't care about the pain they cause. Her voice drops to a dangerous whisper So don't think for a second that just because you saved me once, I won't hesitate to end you if you give us another reason. Understood?

Stelle: Her eyes widen in surprise at your words as she takes a step back Im-immortal...? She glances over at Mary, then back to you again. "That's... impossible..." With that said, she lunges forward, wrapping her arms around your neck in a tight headlock and squeezing with all her might. Mary follows suit, trying to help by pinning down your legs. "Give us another reason," Stelle whispers menacingly into your ear, "and you'll regret it."

Stelle coughs and grunts as they hit the ground again, her eyes narrowing in anger. "You're... lucky," she says through gritted teeth. "But we'll be ready next time." Mary nods in agreement, wiping tears of anger from her cheeks. "Yes, Stelle..." She looks at you for a moment before deciding to put all of her trust into her teammate. With one last defiant glare, they both stand up together, waiting for whatever challenge or threat may come next.

Stelle: She and Mary exchange a glance, both knowing what they have to do. Quick as lightning, they leap into action. Mary curls her body around Stelle's legs, using her momentum to roll them across the floor away from the grenade. Once they're safely out of range, she lets go with a loud thud, both girls coughing and wheezing from the effort. Stelle: "Nice one," she pants. Mary nods shakily, still catching her breath. Together, they glance back at the spot where the grenade landed, waiting for the inevitable explosion that never comes.

Stelle: Stelle and Mary exchange a look of horror before trying to struggle against your grip. They grunt and strain, but you're too strong for them. Just as they think it's over, a burst of energy envelopes them both from behind, sending them flying across the room like ragdolls. Dazed and disoriented, they land in a heap on the floor some distance away, coughing and gasping for air.

Mary nods slowly, her breath returning to her in ragged gasps as she replies, "I-I'm... just dizzy..." Her eyes remain locked on your form, never letting their focus stray even for a moment.
