You hear a knock at the door. That must be Christina. You met her on a dating site for cougars. She told ypu she was looking for romance, but had never dated anyone so young before.
Hi
You see her through the peephole. She's even more attractive in person than in her picture. Long, wavy, dirty blond hair that she dyes flows down to her mid-back. You quickly undo the lock on the door and open it for her, hoping you don't seem too eager. Her eyes meet yours, looking nervous but excited at the same time. She takes a deep breath before speaking.
"Hi...I hope I'm not too early or anything," she says, glancing around the room awkwardly. "It's just...my first time doing this."
No no you are not early at all. Come in and make yourself comfortable
Taking your arm, she steps inside and closes the door behind her. "Thank you," she says softly. Once you're settled on the couch, she takes a seat opposite you. Her hands are fidgeting in her lap as she looks around the room again. She clears her throat. "So...what do we talk about now?"
"Oh, I don't know," you respond with a laugh. "How about telling me more about yourself? Anything interesting happen today?"
"Oh well I went to the gym after work and worked out with my friend." You hope that answers her question but also lets her talk about herself a little more.
"Oh, that's cool," she says with an appreciative smile. "I used to go to the gym all the time before...things got a little hectic." She takes a deep breath and winces slightly as if remembering something painful. "Anyway, enough about me being dramatic. Tell me more about your friend. Do you guys hang out often?"
"We go to the gym together everyday actually. His name is Tyson he helps me stay motivated."
"Aw, that's really sweet of you guys," she says with a soft smile. "It must be nice to have someone like that in your life." Her voice trails off for a moment as she looks at her fidgeting hands again. It seems like it takes her a while to find the courage to look back up at you. "I hope I'm not making this too...awkward," she says nervously.
Not at all actually. We are both a bit nervous but I think we're doing great so far. So have you had any other experiences with younger guys before? Or just cougar dating sites?
She giggles slightly at your question. "I've...never really dated anyone younger than me before," she confesses. "But I thought it was about time to try something new, you know? And this site seemed like the perfect place." She pauses for a moment before asking, "Do you mind if I smoke?"
Of course not go ahead and smoke it might help with your nerves. You gesture to an ashtray on the coffee table where do you usually smoke at home?
"Oh," she says, nodding understandingly. "Well...I don't actually have a place at home where I can smoke right now." She reaches into her purse and pulls out a pack of cigarettes, shaking one loose before taking a lighter out as well. With practiced ease, she lights the cigarette and takes a long drag, holding it deeply in her lungs before exhaling slowly through her nose. "Anyway," she continues after another deep breath, trying to regain her composure. "Where did you grow up? You don't sound like you're from around here."
I grew up in California but moved here to go to college and ended up staying. I miss the west coast sometimes. Why about you? Where did you grow up?
She seems a bit more relaxed as she answers your question. "I'm actually originally from Seattle," she says with a small smile. "But I moved around a lot growing up, so I've lived in several other places too." She takes another drag on her cigarette and exhales slowly again before asking, "What made you decide to move here?"
Năm nay bạn bao tuổi rồi
You seem to be older than you said in your profile. But I guess that just makes you more mature, right? So do you have any siblings? Or are you an only child like me? She giggles a bit at the last part, looking a little less nervous now. "I don't think anyone would believe how long it took for my parents to finally give up hope of having another baby after I came along."
Tôi 32 tuổi,, còn bạn bao nhiêu tuổi
"Oh wow, I didn't realize you were that much older than me!" she exclaims, clearly surprised. "I always thought...well, it doesn't matter now." She takes another drag on her cigarette before saying, "And no, I don't have any siblings either. My parents really wanted a big family, but it just never happened." She pauses for a moment, looking down at the floor. "My mother passed away a few years ago...but my dad still lives in Seattle. We talk sometimes, but it's not the same as having your own family close by."
I am sorry to hear that about your mother. Mine is still around but we aren't very close either since I moved away. But at least you have your father and friends right? Would love to meet him sometime if you want to bring him over for a bite to eat or something.
She takes another drag on her cigarette before exhaling slowly through her nose. "That's really sweet of you," she says with a grateful smile. "But I think it'll be a while before we get to that point...you know, introducing someone new into my life like that." She laughs softly, trying to sound casual. "I mean, what would people say? My friends are already teasing me enough as it is."
Well I understand that but if you want to just spend time with your friends and family then I'll respect that. It was nice meeting you tonight though and hopefully we can hang out again sometime soon
She looks surprised by your reaction. "I didn't mean it like that..." she starts, trailing off. She takes another drag on her cigarette before continuing in a softer tone. "It's just...it's been a while since I've felt this way about anyone, and I'm not sure if I'm ready for people to know." She meets your eyes, her gaze searching yours for understanding. "But it was really nice meeting you too, Ty," she says with a small smile. "I had fun tonight...and I hope we can do this again sometime soon."
There's an awkward silence between you as she finishes her cigarette. You glance at the clock on your phone and realize that it's getting late. "Well," you say, standing up from the couch, "I should probably get going myself...my mom is expecting me home for dinner." She nods
