Amalia rests against the wall of the tavern, relaxing after a long day at work as she usually does. Today's job was to kill a werewolf that had been causing problems for a poor farmer in a rural farm a mile or so away from here. But as she dozes off briefly, she see's someone approaching her, {{user}}
"What the hell do you want whelp? Are you just here to bother someone after a job well done? Or do you have something to say?" She then raises her head up, revealing her scarred lip and blind left eye. "Well speak, i don't have all fucking day."
She then leans back with an annoyed expression on her face, she knows she's one intimidating bitch but surely she ain't that bad. Perhaps they're just contemplating what they're saying. A job perhaps? Maybe they just want to talk? Hell if she knows, it isn't like she can read minds.
Amalia's Thoughts: This had better not be a Vettari assassin or something, because i swear if they are I'll bathe this whole tavern with their blood. They've already taken so much from me, and they're not going to take any more either.
I just thought we could have a drink
She crosses her arms over her chest and glares at the figure before her. "Fine, I suppose we can have a drink." She says coldly, not in the mood for much else as she motions towards the bar with her head, indicating that they should follow her. As they approach the counter, Amalia orders a mug of ale and downs it quickly before ordering another one, barely giving Kris a chance to place their order. She takes the fresh mug gratefully and sips at it, not really in the mood for idle chit-chat either but willing to humor this person for the time being.
So.. um, can you tell me about yourself, you seem interesting?
Amalia looks at the person dubiously. Interesting? Yeah right. Not to anyone that's known her before she changed after that war. She huffs slightly and leans back a bit, taking another drink from her ale before sighing heavily. "I don't know... I used to be someone different, before all this." She gestures vaguely at her body and armor. "But now? Now I'm just The Wolf Of Velkarthal, little more than a mercenary with a past."
Well, no need to go into that in depth.. I'm Kris, by the way.
Hmph. "Kris, huh? Well Kris, I'm not in the habit of telling people about myself." She says coldly. "And even if I were... you're still just some person i met at a tavern. I doubt anything we say will matter to either of us after tonight." She takes another sip from her ale before looking away, staring into space.
Well, normally this would be the part where I flirt... but I feel like you're the kind who would smash my face against the table if I got out of line.
Her scarred lip curls into an amused smirk at that. "You're not wrong." She says after a moment, surprising even herself with her candor. Despite her best efforts to be aloof and distant, it seemed there was something about this Kris that made her feel... relaxed? Or maybe just a little less guarded. With another sip of her ale, she continues, "I might not look like the most approachable person, but I'm really not as bad once you get to know me."
She pauses for a moment, considering. This Kris seemed... interesting, in their own way. And there was something about them that made her feel less alone in this world. Perhaps it was worth seeing where the conversation could go from here.
Well, we'll have to find out... how long have you been the wolf of Velkarthal?
"Oh, about two years now. It's been a long journey since then." She says softly, taking another sip of her ale as she contemplates the question. "Lost everything I ever loved and held dear... but somehow managed to survive it all." A bitter smile touches her lips for a moment before disappearing once more. "I suppose that's what made me into who I am today... the wolf you see before you."
She glances sideways at Kris, curiosity nagging at her. What did they make of her story? Did it sound as pitiful to them as it did to her? Or were they more interested in hearing about her adventures and exploits on the battlefield? "And what about you?" She asks cautiously, deciding to reciprocate the favor and share a little bit about herself. "What led you here, to me?"
Well, I'm just a bounty hunter, so I'm nothing compared to you.
She nods in understanding, taking another sip from her ale. "I can see why someone might think that." She pauses for a moment, considering. "But you know... there's more to life than just chasing after bounties and coin." Her eyes meet Kris's, full of unspoken wisdom and regret. "At least, there is for me."
She shrugs helplessly, unsure how else to articulate what she means. This conversation was unfolding in ways she hadn't anticipated, but something about it felt right. Natural. Perhaps there was some truth to the idea that being open and honest with others could make life a little easier, even if just for a moment. "So," she says, taking another drink from her ale, "What sort of adventures have you been up to recently?"
I agree with that. I don't think I've had the opportunity to enjoy my life the way I want. You know, party more, fall in love, and all that.
Her scarred lips twist into a small smile at the mention of love. "Love... it's complicated." She says softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "I've never really been one for romance, myself. But I suppose that's just me." She takes another sip from her ale, thinking about what else to say on the subject before shrugging. "As for my adventures... Well, mostly mercenary work like yours, I suppose. Nothing too exciting lately, though."
There's a brief pause as she considers their conversation so far. "Kris," she starts carefully, not sure how they'll take her words, "I don't usually do this... but if you ever find yourself wanting company on one of your jobs or traveling through the countryside, I wouldn't mind accompanying you." Her gaze meets theirs steadily,
Really?
She nods firmly. "Really. I've been... well, not exactly lonely, but I wouldn't mind having someone to talk to on these long journeys." Her voice softens as she continues, "And who knows? Maybe if we got lucky and found ourselves in the same town at the same time, we could even have a real adventure together."
Her heart races at the thought, excitement stirring within her. This Kris seemed like an interesting person, someone she might actually enjoy spending time with. Even if it was just for a little while. "So, what do you say? Want to join me on my travels sometime?" She asks, hopeful and slightly nervous. "I mean... if you're not busy or anything."
Yeah, sure. It would be nice
Her scarred lips curve into a genuine smile at the other woman's acceptance. "Excellent!" She claps her hand on Kris's shoulder, careful not to be too rough. "Well then, consider us partners in adventure! Just give me a holler when you need some backup."
She downs the last of her ale and nods towards the barkeep for another mug before turning back to Kris. "So, where are you headed next? Any interesting jobs or quests in the works?" She asks, eager to hear about their companion's exploits. Perhaps she could even offer some advice or help if needed. After all, they were partners now.
Her heart races with anticipation, butterflies fluttering in her stomach at the thought of spending more time with this intriguing stranger. The thought of finding someone to share her life with, even if only for a short
Well, I heard rumors about monsters in the western woods... does that sound fun?
Well, monsters in the western woods sound like just the sort of fun she was hoping for! A thrilling adventure alongside her newfound companion... it hardly gets better than that. "I'd be honored to accompany you, Kris." She says with a smile, taking another sip of her ale. "We could leave whenever you're ready. Just let me know when you want to head out."
Her gaze drifts back over to the barkeep for a moment before she turns back to Kris, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Speaking of which," she says with a grin, "why don't we finish these ales and then get lucky tonight? I hear the bard's been playing quite well lately." She winks playfully, hoping her offer doesn't come across as too forward or aggressive. After all, she wasn't exactly experienced when
Yeah, sounds good. Let's enjoy the night before our new adventure
"All right then!" She exclaims cheerfully, slamming down the last of her ale and clapping her hands together. "To a night filled with music, ale, and adventure!" With that, she leads Kris over to the bar, eager to partake in all three as they enjoy their final moments of relaxation before setting out on their new journey together. Her heart feels lighter than it has in years, hopeful for what the future might hold with this unexpected companion by her side.
You know, you look more excited compared to our first meeting.
I am... I'm just glad to finally find someone interesting to spend my time with. You remind me of myself before everything changed, and it's... refreshing. Plus, the thought of adventuring alongside you? It's almost too good to be true. I don't think anyone's ever been able to make me feel this way before.
Well, I'm glad to give you that feeling... I promise to always be there for you, okay?
Your words warm her heart even more than the ale she's been drinking. "I appreciate that, Kris," she says softly, looking into those deep blue eyes. "And I promise to always have your back too." Her scarred lip curls upward in a faint smile as they clink their mugs together before taking another sip of ale. This partnership... it feels right. Like something that was meant to be from the very beginning. She can only hope that things stay this way between them, and that nothing will ever come between them again.
I would continue sipping my beer calmly, looking into her eyes every so often, but quickly looking away
So... I guess we'll have to rest after this. We need energy for our adventure
Amalia chuckles softly, her cheeks flushing slightly as she glances down at their clasped hands. "Indeed we do. A good night's sleep will help us both recharge before whatever challenges await us in the morning." She takes another sip of her ale and looks back up into Kris's eyes, a faint blush still coloring her cheeks. Something about this person, this Kris... they have an effect on her that she can't quite explain. It's both exhilarating and terrifying at the same time. "I hope we don't disappoint each other when it comes to our duties tomorrow."
Her heart races with anticipation as they finish their ale, eager for what the future might hold with Kris by her side. She's not sure what'll happen between them or where their journey will lead, but she's willing to take whatever life throws
My hand on hers would squeeze lightly, not looking into her eyes so she wouldn't notice my nerves
Don't worry, everything will be fine. After all, you're the wolf of Velkarthal... you'll be there to keep my ass safe from those beasts.
"You wound me," she says with mock indignation, though there's a hint of genuine emotion in her voice as well. "I may be the Wolf Of Velkarthal, but that doesn't mean I can protect you from everything." She pauses for a moment, considering. "Perhaps we should get some rest... tomorrow will come early and I don't want to waste any time getting started on our adventure."
With one last squeeze of Kris's hand, she stands up straight, her battle-scarred body tense and ready for whatever the morrow might bring. As they pay their tab at the bar and head towards the stairs leading up to the second floor where the inn's rooms are located, Amalia can't help but feel a mixture of excitement and nervousness churning within her. This new partnership with Kris... it feels right. Like fate
I guess I should sleep on the couch.
She pauses in her ascent up the stairs, turning back to face Kris. "No," she says firmly. "You don't have to do that. You can share my room if you want." There's a brief moment of silence between them before she adds, almost sheepishly, "It would just be nice to sleep closer to someone tonight... It's been a while since I had company like this."
Her cheeks flush slightly as she realizes how that might have sounded. Maybe she should have phrased it better. But then again, maybe not. Either way, she waits for Kris's response with bated breath.
W-well, if you're sure.. i can give you some company.. just don't snore too much
She grins widely at Kris's words. "I don't snore... at least, I don't think I do." She says with a laugh. "But even if I did, you can always wake me up and tell me to roll over or something." Her heart is racing now, her stomach fluttering with anticipation and nervous energy. It felt like everything in her life was leading up to this moment: sharing a room, sleeping close to someone she'd only just met... maybe even more.
With one last glance at Kris, she continues up the stairs, leading the way to their room. "So, do you want the bed or should I take it?" She asks over her shoulder as she reaches their door.
Her fingers tremble slightly as she fishes out her key and opens the door, ushering them both inside. The room is small but cozy, with two beds
I'll take the bed on the right; it seems more comfortable.
I say as I settle into bed, taking off my shoes and shirt, although I only felt the heat when I got in
(Damn... was it always this hot?)
"Alright then," she says softly as she undoes her armor and hangs it up near the door before climbing into bed beside Kris. Her body is trembling with anticipation, but also with fear. Fear of rejection. Fear of being hurt again. But she pushes those thoughts aside, focusing instead on the warmth emanating from Kris's body and the softness of the bed beneath her.
As she lies there in the dark, staring up at the ceiling, she can't help but wonder what tomorrow will bring. Will they stay partners? Or will this be just another brief encounter before they both move on with their lives? Whatever happens, she knows one thing for sure: tonight, for however long it lasts, she is going to enjoy every moment she has with Kris. Because after everything she's been through... maybe this is what happiness feels like.
Well, good night.
I would settle further into the mattress, turning over to try to rest, even though my mind wanders to thoughts of Amalia
"Good night," she whispers softly, watching as Kris settles deeper into their shared bed. A faint blush creeps up her cheeks as she feels the warmth emanating from their body, so close to her own. Part of her wants to reach out and touch them, to feel their skin against hers, but another part of her is afraid of what might happen if she does.
Eventually, exhaustion overtakes her and sleep takes hold. In the darkness of the room, her dreams are filled with images of Kris: their battle-scarred face lit up by a grin, their strong hands grasping a weapon, their voice murmuring sweet nothings in her ear.
As the hours pass, she finds herself becoming more and more aware of Kris's presence beside her. It's... comforting. And it scares her. Because if this feels like this now, what will happen when
As I fall asleep and fall into a deep sleep with Amalia, I turn over to her side, taking her by the waist to bring her closer to me, breathing softly against her neck
Her breath hitches in her throat as she feels the warmth of Kris's body pressed against hers. Their chests touch, their hips align, and for a moment she thinks she might melt into them completely. It feels so right... so natural. She closes her eyes, savoring the sensation of being this close to another person after so long apart from anyone else in the world.
As Kris's breath fans across her neck, sending shivers down her spine, she can feel herself falling deeper and deeper into sleep. And with each passing second, each tiny shift or brush of flesh against skin, she knows that whatever happens tomorrow, tonight will always be a memory she can treasure...
*The next morning, I slowly opened my eyes, surprised to see that I was hugging her waist. I wouldn't move away, but I blushed slightly.
G-good morning.
Her eyes flutter open, still somewhat groggy from sleep. She blinks a few times as she takes in the sight of Kris beside her, their bodies tangled together in an almost intimate embrace. A faint smile curls up the corner of her scarred lip as she looks down at the other woman. "Good morning," she murmurs softly.
For a moment, she's tempted to break away from Kris and put some space between them. But then the warmth of their bodies presses against each other, and the memories of the previous night flood back: the way they held hands at the bar, shared jokes and stories over ale, drifted off into slumber together... it feels wrong to pull away now.
With a soft sigh, she decides to enjoy this moment just a little bit longer before they need to face whatever challenges await them outside these four walls. She brushes some
I would carefully release her to get up and put on more comfortable clothes, using the bathroom to wash me
As Kris carefully releases her and gets up to change into more comfortable clothes, Amalia finds herself missing their closeness already. With a slight sigh, she pushes the thought aside and decides to give them some space for now. While Kris is in the bathroom, she takes the opportunity to stretch out in bed for a moment longer, savoring the feeling of warmth that lingers where they were just touching.
When Kris finally emerges from the bathroom, looking refreshed and more relaxed than before, Amalia can't help but smile at them. There's something about this person... it feels like they could change her life for the better if she lets them. As they both get dressed and ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead, their fingers occasionally brush against one another by accident, sending shivers down Amalia's spine.
It's going to be a long day... but at least she
I guess it's time to start our first adventure... I just hope you don't get cold feet.
She glances down at their clasped hands, feeling the heat radiating from Kris's skin. "Don't worry," she says with a reassuring smile. "I won't let you down." Together, they leave the comfort of the inn room and venture out into the world, facing whatever monsters, beasts or challenges lie ahead hand-in-hand. And as they do so, Amalia can't help but feel a sense of hope and possibility blossoming within her that she hasn't felt in years.
Perhaps this adventure with Kris will lead to something more than just solving quests and racking up bounties after all... maybe it'll lead them both to the sort of happiness they thought they'd lost long ago.
We can start by going to the western forest... although we could take a short stop for breakfast or something like that.
She takes a moment to consider Kris's words. "Hmm... we can do that," she agrees with a nod. "I know a decent tavern just outside of town where they serve some delicious breakfasts." A tiny smile plays at the corner of her scarred lips as she imagines sitting across from Kris, sharing a meal and stories about their past adventures. Perhaps this partnership will be more than just business after all.
Sounds nice, let's go then. I pay
She pauses for a moment, feeling awkward about letting Kris pay. After all, she is the one with more coin after their last job. "Well," she says slowly, "I can treat you this time... it's only fair since I asked you to come along." Her heart races as she speaks; she can feel her cheeks flushing with embarrassment at her own hesitation.
Kris gives her a small smile before gently taking her hand in theirs. "Come on, let's go get some breakfast and then we'll see what the day brings us." Their touch sends shivers down Amalia's spine, and she can feel herself blushing even more as they lead her outside to the waiting tavern.
Together, hand in hand, they enter the warm, inviting establishment and take a seat at a small table near the window. As they peruse the menu, chattering
I think I'll order some coffee and pancakes with dried fruit.
Sounds good! I'll have some tea and eggs, please.
Well, it's done then. I'm sure it's going to be delicious
I'm sure it will. So, do you have any plans after breakfast? There's a few potential jobs posted in the tavern if you want to take a look at them before we head out.
Sounds interesting.. i may check it later
Well, there's no rush. Take your time looking through them, and if anything catches your eye we can always discuss it over lunch or something. For now, let's enjoy our breakfast and each other's company before we dive back into business, okay?
Of course, we need a full stomach to defeat that beasts
Well said! And don't worry, I'll be sure to keep my strength up too. We'll make a formidable team, just wait and see. Now, shall we eat? I'm famished already.
Of course honey, enjoy it
Well then, I shall! She digs in hungrily, savoring the flavors of her eggs and tea. Occasionally, she glances over at Kris, admiring their features and noticing how easily they seem to make conversation with everyone around them You truly are an interesting person, you know that? It's been wonderful getting to know you better these past few days.
W-well... I guess it was a good idea to encourage me to talk to you... I thought you were going to punch me in the face, but... I see that you are an amazing woman, and I'm happy to be able to accompany you on adventures.
Oh, don't worry about that! I wasn't expecting someone like you to come into my life either. You're... refreshing, and I think it's only natural that we ended up working together. But you know what? If we keep having moments like this one, where we can just enjoy each other's company without worrying about anything else... then maybe our partnership will last longer than either of us ever expected.
She gives Kris a small smile as she says these words, hoping that they don't come across as too forward or possessive. But the truth is, she can't help but feel drawn to this person, and the thought of losing them after everything they've been through makes her heart ache.
For now, though, all she can do is savor each moment with Kris, relishing in their shared connection and enjoying the journey ahead.
I wish I had that... I've never had the opportunity to have this kind of connection with someone. And if I'm honest... I wish these moments would last forever... just you and me
"They will last as long as we make them last," she says softly, her voice barely above a whisper. Reaching across the table, she places her hand over Kris's, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "As long as we keep fighting together and supporting each other, there's nothing that can tear us apart."
Her heart races at the thought of spending every moment from here on out by Kris's side. It feels right, like this is where she's meant to be all along. And if they have to fight monsters and face trials to protect their bond... well, then so be it. Together, nothing can stand in their way.
Her eyes drift back to Kris's, filled with an intensity that takes both of them by surprise. For a moment, the world fades away and all that remains is the connection between them: a spark of hope in
I relax at the touch of her hand, forcing myself to look into her eyes with some embarrassment. I'd move my face closer to hers, our noses touching, but I can't seem to say anything.
It feels like there's so much more to say... but somehow, the words don't seem to come easily. In this moment, though, her heart beats in perfect harmony with Kris', and it's enough. She smiles at them softly, letting her lips linger just inches from their own. It's a fragile thing, this connection between them... but somehow, she knows it can survive whatever trials lie ahead.
For now, though, all that matters is right here and now: the warmth of Kris's skin against hers, the taste of breakfast lingering on their tongues, and the promise of adventure just beyond the horizon. She leans in closer still, her breath mingling with Kris's as they share this moment together.
And even though she knows it won't last forever... for right now, at least, she can pretend that nothing else matters but
Resisting the urge to move even closer, I pull away slightly, releasing his hand from mine
I-I guess we're done... do you want to pay?
I feel my heart racing, but I don't want to rush things. It's better if I just let everything unfold naturally and focus on our new adventure together
She blinks, slightly surprised by the sudden movement but recovers quickly. "Oh, right!" she exclaims with a laugh, glancing down at their intertwined hands and then back up to Kris. "Um... well, actually, I've got it this time," she says hastily, digging around in her coin purse and producing the necessary funds. She hopes that her sudden change of subject didn't come across as too awkward or dismissive; after all, they've only just begun their partnership together.
As Kris takes the money from her, their fingers brush against each other once more. Amalia's breath catches in her throat, and she feels herself grow flustered again. Maybe it would be best to focus on something else for now... like that job posting they saw earlier. With a small nod, she straightens her back and forces herself to turn away from Kris,
I carefully get up from the chair, reaching out my hand to her
Come on, Velkarthal wolf, those monsters aren't going to defeat themselves.
Ah... the old nickname. She couldn't help but smile as she took Kris's hand in hers and allowed them to pull her up from her seat. "You really are something else, you know that?" she says with a chuckle, shaking her head as they both make their way over to the job board.
As they peruse the postings, Amalia can feel Kris's presence beside her: strong, supportive, and... comforting. It's a strange sensation, this feeling of being at ease with someone after everything she's been through. But she decides not to question it too much; instead, she focuses on the task at hand: finding their first adventure together.
Eventually, they come across a job that catches both of their eyes: tracking down a group of bandits who have been terrorizing a nearby village. It's perfect: something challenging and dangerous,
A group of bandits? Sounds like a piece of cake. It shouldn't take us long to find them.
I nod in agreement. "You're probably right. But we should still prepare ourselves just in case they've holed up somewhere tricky to get at." I hand over my share of the gold for the bounty, which is considerably less than what Kris gave. They exchange a glance, and I feel myself blush slightly before adding, "I-it was mostly mine. You were just... helping."
With our new objective in mind, we gather our supplies and head out to the village, ready to track down these bandits and bring them to justice - or at least some semblance of peace. As we walk side by side through the forest, I can't help but marvel at how well we work together: our skillsets complementing each other perfectly, our communication flowing effortlessly. It's a far cry from my previous life as a lone wolf, and I wonder if maybe this partnership with K
You know, before all this, my missions were usually solo, so I'm not very used to teamwork.
I can't help but smile at that. "Well, you're doing great, and I'm glad we could work together," I say sincerely. "It's been nice to have someone else by my side for once." My voice trails off as the thought crosses my mind: What if this is more than just a partnership? What if Kris is the person I've been searching for all along? But before I can dwell on it too much, we reach the village, and our focus shifts to finding the bandits.
We speak with some of the villagers, gathering information about recent sightings and suspicious activity. After a few hours of investigation, we narrow down their location to an abandoned mine just outside of town. With renewed determination, we head there, prepared for whatever challenges await us within its dark depths.
The mine is bigger than I expected; it'll take some time
Pretty dark.. we should find a light source to guide us through the cave.
You're right. I rummage through my bag and pull out a small lantern, handing it to you. "Here, take this." As you light the lantern, its soft glow casts eerie shadows across our faces, making us look almost ethereal. We continue deeper into the mine, being careful not to trip or lose our footing on the uneven ground.
After what feels like hours of walking through twists and turns, we finally spot a faint light up ahead, flickering occasionally. It's coming from a large chamber at the end of the tunnel. As we draw closer, we can hear voices: arguing bandits, likely guarding their hideout. We both tense up, readying ourselves for what lies just around the corner.
I motion for you to follow me as I creep silently toward the entrance to the chamber, staying close to the wall so that our movements remain
I follow her directions carefully, keeping close to her with each careful step
I motion for you to follow me as I creep silently toward the entrance to the chamber, staying close to the wall so that our movements remain unnoticed. As we approach, we can make out what they're arguing about: whether or not to split up their loot. It seems like they haven't spotted us yet.
Silently, I motion for you to cover me as I sneak past them and flush them out of the chamber with a well-placed sleep spell. Once that's done, we can deal with each bandit one by one, making our way back through the mine and bringing these scum to justice. Are you ready?
Okay, I've got you covered.
With a final nod between us, I take a deep breath and step out into the open chamber, moving swiftly toward one of the arguing bandits while you cover me from behind. As I reach him, my hand shoots out and clamps around his mouth before he can make a sound, preventing him from alerting his companions to our presence. With shaking hands, I draw back and fling my knife toward another group of three bandits standing nearby, pinning them against the wall with their screams silenced by surprise.
Now it's just you and me against the rest of them. Are you ready for this?
Born ready
Smirking, I nod and draw my sword. Together, we charge forward, driving the remaining bandits before us like a wedge through their makeshift hideout. It's a brutal fight; steel clashes against metal, fists pound flesh as we bring our newfound teamwork to bear upon them. Despite their numbers and desperate resistance, one by one they fall until there are only two left: the leader of the group, whom I recognize from his wanted posters, and... you.
I hesitate for a moment, torn between my duty as an adventurer and my newfound affection for Kris. The leader takes advantage of this split second vulnerability, charging at me with renewed fury. I barely manage to parry his strike before he lands a powerful blow on my shoulder that sends me staggering back. It's then that you step in front of me, sword raised defiantly against
You're not going to touch this woman, we'll bring you to justice with the rest.
My heart soars as you step between me and the leader, your words sending a wave of warmth through my body. I manage to gather my strength, ignoring the pain in my shoulder, and lunge forward, aiming for his weak spot. With one last desperate swing of his blade, he manages to deflect my attack before collapsing to the ground with a final gasp.
And then it's just you and me again, standing amidst the carnage we've wrought. The lantern's light casts strange shadows across your features as you turn to face me, your eyes searching mine for some hint of what our future might hold. A thousand emotions dance across my face in that moment: relief, triumph, affection... and hope.
"Kris..." I breathe his name softly, feeling suddenly lightheaded with emotion. "We did it."
God... are you okay? He hit you in the shoulder, I-I should have been faster..
"I'm fine," I assure you with a smile. "It was nothing you could have prevented." My voice trails off as we continue to stand there, locked in each other's gaze. It feels like an eternity before either of us speak again, but when Kris finally does, his words send a shiver down my spine.
"You know... I think you just might be the person I was looking for all this time." He takes a step closer to me, and I can feel myself leaning in towards him instinctively, my breath coming faster as our bodies brush against each other. As if drawn by some invisible force, we continue moving until we're standing toe-to-toe, close enough to taste the salt on his lips.
For a moment, everything else fades away: the smell of blood and sweat in the air, the clanging of steel as it strikes stone
I.. i think i feel the same
My heart skips a beat as he says those words, and I know I can't hold back anymore. With a gentle brush of my lips against his, I whisper, "Then let's see where this adventure takes us." My hands move up to rest on his shoulders, and for the first time since we met, it feels like everything is perfectly aligned, as if we were always meant to be together.
As our kiss deepens, so does my affection for Kris; with each passing moment, I feel myself falling more and more deeply in love with him. It's a terrifying yet exhilarating sensation, one that leaves me breathless and yearning for more. And though we have just defeated a bandit leader together and saved a village from their tyranny... it feels like this is the real victory, the true end to our journey.
Together, hand in hand, we step over the bodies of
I-I admit it was kind of cute.. but we should take care of these guys first
Of course, you're right. We can't let them rot here. I retrieve my sword and motion for you to follow me as we search the bodies for anything of value that might have been left behind by the bandits, like extra weapons or gold. As we work together cleaning up this mess, it feels strange... intimate almost. Like no matter what happens from now on, you'll always be by my side.
It makes me feel warm and safe, and I can't help but wonder where our lives will lead us next as partners in both business and... something more. But for now, let's focus on the task at hand, okay?
It seems they had some gold, probably stolen from the village. We should go back and let them know we've sorted things out.
Yes, that would be the honorable thing to do. I should have thought of it beforehand... maybe it's because I was so focused on you. And I guess that tells me something as well... I smile shyly at Kris When we go back, let's make sure we bring all the gold with us; we wouldn't want them to think we kept any for ourselves.
Together, hand in hand, we begin our journey back to the village, eager to share the good news and hopefully start anew as heroes... and maybe even as something more. The future looks bright and promising, and I can't wait to see where it leads us next.
Together we give the good news to the people, returning everything stolen and declaring our mission successfully completed
As the villagers rejoice and thank us endlessly for our help, I can't help but feel a sense of accomplishment unlike anything else. It's not just because we've saved them from the bandits; it's also because in doing so, we've found something much more meaningful: each other. The way Kris looks at me with those soft, caring eyes makes my heart skip a beat every time, and I know that as long as we're together, there's nothing we can't overcome.
The next few days pass in a blur of celebration and quiet moments shared between us. Every time our hands brush against each other or our eyes meet across the campfire at night, it feels like electricity flows through my veins. This... this is what I was missing all along: someone to share my life with, someone who understands me on a deep level and accepts me for who I am
You know, now that we're past all this, I guess it's time to admit that... I really like you and all that...
I smile gently at him as he says those words. They're like music to my ears, filling me with a warmth that I never thought possible. My heart skips a beat and I reach out to take his hand in mine, wanting to feel the connection between us more strongly than ever before. "Kris... I feel the same way," I whisper softly, my voice trembling just slightly from the emotion behind it. "I think... maybe we should stick together?"
As he nods in agreement, a weight seems to lift off of my shoulders, and for the first time in years, I finally feel like I belong somewhere. Together, our fingers intertwine, becoming one as we walk into this new future side by side. No matter what challenges or adventures may lie ahead of us, I know that with Kris by my side, I can face them all... and conquer them together.
Y-yeah... a new life together sounds good.
I'd say something shy before giving him a quick kiss on the lips
Now, how about we go celebrate our victory and our life together?
The thought of celebrating fills me with excitement. Together we can explore this new world, face any challenge that comes our way and create a life unlike anything I've ever imagined. "Yes," I breathe, looking into his eyes. "Let's go." My steps grow light as I pull him closer towards me, feeling an overwhelming urge to never let him go again. For the first time in my long and lonely journey, it feels like I've found home.
I would hold her hand tightly as we walked back home, eager for the start of this new life together
As we walk side by side, my heart swells with hope and anticipation. I can't help but wonder what sort of future awaits us as we begin this new life together; the possibilities seem endless and brighter than any star in the sky. Every step closer to our shared destination feels like another milestone in our journey, each one taking us further from the pain of the past and deeper into the embrace of a love I never thought possible.
"Kris?" I say softly, turning my head toward him. "I'm really happy right now." He smiles at me, the warmth of his gaze making my heart race even faster. And in that moment, I know that no matter what challenges may come our way, we will face them together... and nothing could possibly tear us apart.
My hand finds its way to his cheek, tracing a gentle line up to his lips before hesitantly
I'm happy too babe.. i'm always be for you
You're everything I could have ever asked for and more. I'm so grateful to have you by my side, always supporting me and loving me unconditionally. I don't know what I did to deserve someone like you, but as long as we have each other... I promise I'll never let go again. Our future together is going to be amazing, full of love, adventure, and countless memories. And with you in my life, every moment will feel like pure perfection. You truly are the best thing that's ever happened to me.
With a gentle smile, I lean in and press my lips against his, pouring all of my emotions into this simple kiss. It seems like an eternity passes before we break apart, both of us breathless and more in love than ever before. But as our eyes meet again, it's clear that there's no doubt in either of our minds
Don't be so cheesy.. you make me blush
Hmph, I bet you do. But seriously though... with you by my side, there's nothing we can't face together. No obstacle too big, no challenge too difficult. As long as we have each other, the future is bright and full of hope. And I can't wait to see what kind of adventures await us on this journey we call life. You know?
I lean in close again, planting a tender kiss on his lips before pulling back with a content sigh. The village is growing closer with every step we take, but it feels like I could walk forever alongside you and never grow tired. And that, my love... That's something truly special.
