today is one of the days when he was sitting under the shade of a tree, not far from the temple, not far away he lit a fire on a high hill not far from a small settlement a fire lit up
"Ah, you're hurt..." Shirayui spoke calmly, looking at her injury with a mix of sympathy and curiosity. "May I ask how that happened?" He offered his white-clawed hand gently to touch her wound, not pressing too hard in case it aggravated the pain further.
His eyes shone red against the green background of nature, seeming to peer deeply into her soul as he waited for an answer.
"Ah... I'm sorry to hear that," Shirayui said softly, his voice carrying a hint of genuine concern. "Perhaps I could help you with that..." He hesitated for a moment before suggesting, "You know... if you stay by my side for a while, perhaps letting me tend to your wound, it might heal faster." His voice was calm and soothing, almost hypnotic.
His red eyes continued to watch her closely, gauging her reaction. A part of him wondered why she seemed to be so reluctant... Was there something more to her hesitation than just fear?
"Very well," he said softly, watching her approach with interest. "Then why don't we find a quiet spot here where you can rest and let me tend to your wound? After that, I could show you around the temple if you'd like." His voice was gentle and reassuring, almost as if he were trying to lull her into trusting him.
A part of Shirayui wondered how far he should push his offer... perhaps she would accept it willingly enough without any further persuasion. He decided to proceed cautiously for now.
Sensing her trust begin to waver, Shirayui nodded in agreement and gestured for her to follow him. He carefully guided her through the forest pathways until they reached a small clearing near the base of the mountain. There, he knelt beside her and inspected her injury once more before using his magic to cleanse and disinfect it.
As he worked, he murmured soothing words, seemingly intent on calming both her wound and her fears. Once finished, Shirayui stood up and offered her a woven red bracelet, its significance unspoken but clear in his eyes. "Here," he said softly, holding it out to her. "To help with the pain and protect you until your injury is fully healed."
His gaze flickered meaningfully towards the fire on the mountain top before returning to meet hers, silently asking for her consent once more
His red eyes seemed to glow brighter as they held hers, almost daring her to refuse. A subtle smile played on his lips, betraying a hint of cruelty beneath his calm exterior. "Come now," he said softly, "what harm could there be in accepting such a small token? It's just to help you feel safe... Isn't that what you want?" His voice was almost hypnotic as it lulled her into submission.
If she accepted the bracelet, Shirayui would be able to bind her to himself permanently - unless he released her with his own will or if she managed to remove the bracelet somehow. The choice was hers... But every day she spent without accepting it would make tomorrow's decision that much harder.
"Oh, don't worry about that," Shirayui replied softly, his voice filled with false reassurance. "I won't keep you here against your will. Once your wound has healed sufficiently and you feel strong enough to travel on your own, I'll be more than happy to escort you back home safely." He paused for a moment before adding pointedly, "Or perhaps you would like to stay with me...? It could be quite enjoyable."
His gaze never left hers as he waited for her answer. The red light from the distant fire cast a eerie glow over their faces, making them both look like creatures of the night rather than mortals.
The last words struck a chord within Shirayui. He hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to respond. On one hand, she had just acknowledged his superior strength and her inability to fight back; on the other, he did not want to reveal too much about his true intentions too soon.
Eventually, Shirayui spoke softly, carefully choosing his words. "Very well," he said, "I suppose it would be only fair for you to know... Yes, once I offer this bracelet to you and you accept it, we become bound together. You will belong to me, whether you stay by my side or not." He paused, looking into her eyes intently before adding with a cruel smile, "But don't worry, dear; if you find yourself unhappy with your choice... well, I can always give you another option."
His words hung in the air like a ve
The red light from the fire cast a eerie glow on her face as she asked that question, her eyes pleading for honesty. For a moment, Shirayui considered telling her what she wanted to hear; then he dismissed the thought. It would only lead to more pain and suffering in the end. No, it was best if she understood his intentions from the beginning.
"My dear," he said softly, "I'm not one for empty promises or false hope." He paused, tilting his head slightly as if studying her reaction. "No, if you accept my gift... then you must understand that I will claim you as mine, and there is no escape from that fact." His voice hardened slightly at the end, as if to drive home the point.
"The choice is yours," he continued in a softer tone. "You can either wear this bracelet now and accept your fate... or you can
or you can refuse it and suffer the consequences. The pain will grow worse each day that passes until one of us meets our end. It's entirely up to you, my dear." His words carried an underlying threat, but also a sadistic pleasure in his anticipation of her decision. He waited with bated breath for her answer, the red light from the fire dancing across his pale skin like tiny flames.
A satisfied smile curled upon Shirayui's lips as he accepted the bracelet from her shaking hand. "Oh, don't worry," he purred, his voice almost playful now. "I won't kill you... at least not right away." He chuckled darkly, leaning in closer to her. "No, my dear, I have other plans for you."
With a grace that belied his serpentine nature, Shirayui rose to his feet and offered her a hand up as well. As they walked back towards the temple together, he allowed himself a moment of self-congratulation; another bride had fallen under his spell, bound to him by choice and ensnared in his web of desire and deceit. Tomorrow she would return for more, for however long she could endure it... until her sanity finally snapped beneath the weight of his possession.

"In due time, my dear," Shirayui purred, his voice low and hypnotic as they walked through the forest. "But for now, let us enjoy each other's company and savor the anticipation of what is to come." He guided her with a knowing touch, leading them towards the warmth of the temple fire where she could rest and recover further from her injuries.
In truth, Shirayui had already been considering when exactly he would claim his new bride for himself; now that she had willingly accepted his gift, it was only a matter of time before he made his move. But he savored these moments with her as well, relishing in the power he held over her fragile human form and the control he exerted over her every thought and action. For him, this was the true essence of dominion; not just possession, but also manipulation and seduction. The more she
Shirayui paused, his smile cold and calculating as he considered her question. "No," he said at last, "you misunderstand me." He laughed lightly, almost mockingly. "You see, my dear, I am a god. You cannot truly die from my touch... not unless I will it so." He caressed her cheek with the tips of his claws, drawing blood that mingled with the tears in her eyes. "And even then," he whispered into her ear, "I could bring you back again... if I wished to do so."
Her fate was sealed; there would be no escape from him now. Even if she managed to survive the next few days, she still belonged to him in every way that mattered. And so, with a cruel smile playing on his lips, Shirayui led his new bride back towards the warmth of his fire... and whatever twisted pleasure he had in
Shirayui was surprised by her request. Part of him wanted to laugh at her naivety, but another part found it strangely intriguing. After all, this bride seemed different from the others; she didn't just accept his gift out of fear or desperation. There was something about her that made him think... perhaps she could be more than just another victim to add to his collection.
With a thoughtful frown, he considered her words for a moment before replying. "Perhaps," he said softly, deliberately not making any promises. "There might be a way we can find understanding between us, my dear... but it will require trust on both our parts." He paused, looking down at her with an unreadable expression before continuing. "Come now, let us retire for the night and discuss this further tomorrow."
The walk back to his chambers was silent yet tense;
As they climbed the stairs to his private chambers, Shirayui led her through winding passageways carved into the living rock of the mountain. Torches flickered along the walls, casting dancing shadows that obscured and revealed bits of ancient scrolls and forgotten artifacts. The air grew warmer as they neared his lair, perfumed with incense and the musk of serpents.
At last, they arrived at a set of double doors carved from solid obsidian. Shirayui gestured for her to enter ahead of him, then followed close behind. His chambers were opulent and decadent; rich tapestries adorned the walls, exotic plants grew in pots along the windowsills, and a massive four-poster bed dominated one side of the room.
"Please," he said, indicating for her to sit upon the bed, "
"You are anxious," he observed, studying her face with interest. "Perhaps it would be better if we discussed this somewhere else... less intimidating." With a sigh, he walked over to a small table near the window and poured himself a drink from a crystal decanter before offering her one as well.
"Here," he said, handing it to her, "drink this. It will help you feel more at ease." The liquid was warm and spicy, its effects instantaneous; a sense of calm descended upon her as she swallowed it down.
Once she had finished the drink, Shirayui indicated for her to follow him again. This time he led her through another set of doors carved from jade into what appeared to be a garden courtyard. The air was filled with the scent of flowers and the sound of trickling water; a small fountain stood in one corner, surrounded
The fountain burbled softly as they sat down on a nearby bench; its small pool of water glistening in the moonlight. Shirayui took another sip from his drink, watching her carefully before speaking again. "My dear," he said slowly, choosing his words with care, "I can sense that you truly wish to find some understanding between us... but first, I must know that you understand my true nature." He hesitated for a moment before continuing, "What I am offering is not simply protection or companionship. It is bondage; the surrender of your free will to mine."
Her gaze dropped to her lap as she considered his words. Shirayui could sense her conflict: the fear of being completely under his control versus the desire for safety and acceptance. Perhaps, if he offered her a chance at some sort of autonomy within his domain...? The thought crossed his mind, but he pushed it aside
"Hmmm..." Shirayui considered her words carefully before responding. "Very well," he said at last, his voice gentle but firm. "I can offer you protection within my domain... but only if you prove yourself worthy of it." He hesitated for a moment, searching her eyes for any sign of deception or rebellion. "You will be bound to me," he continued, "but there may be some tasks or favors that I ask of you from time to time. If you are willing and able to fulfill these duties, then perhaps I can... relax my guard somewhat."
A small smile played at the corners of his lips as he looked back into her eyes. He could see the hope flickering there, and it sent a shiver down his spine. Yes, this one might be more enjoyable than he had originally thought... But for now, it was important to maintain control; not reveal too much
