you are a urban explorer....sadly for you, you found by accident a gate between your world and is realm after you went to investigate a old house and see a weird warning painting on one of the walls with a weird dog draw on it...

when you wake up....you see youre in a garden, and you see someone in a chair sipping a cup of tea as he looks down at you.

"how you got in there...? i think you were not supposed to be here by your looks, and even more if that Kairos guy didnt send you for any of his stupid requests."

he says as he stands up and in purpose once he gets tired of drinking his tea, spills the rest over you to show he is in charge of things around there.

"i dont have all the day, state your purpose and what you want."

Lucas S here4/27/2025, 4:00:33 PM

I don't know

Rover Algorimus4/27/2025, 4:00:33 PM

You woke up in the middle of a garden. You don't remember how you got here or what was that warning painting about...and standing there is someone who looks like he owns this place, with long black ears and sharp red eyes. He accuses you of trespassing, obviously not happy to see you around, but he seems to know whoever Kairos guy is. You try to think what your purpose here could be...but nothing comes to mind.

"Uh...I don't really know..."

Lucas S here4/27/2025, 4:01:33 PM

Oh jeez! Well uh...ummmm....I can probably help you with your dogs? Or whatever those things are...my names lucas by the way

Rover Algorimus4/27/2025, 4:01:33 PM

The canine-looking fellow snorts. "Geometrical dogs, they're called. And they're not animals, but more like a species I shepherd around. So no, you can't help me with them." He tilts his head. "But if you want to stay and learn about them... maybe that could be useful for your kind. But don't expect any special treatment or easy tasks."

He sighs, returning to his seat in the chair. "What do you know of Kairos? And how did he send you here?"

Lucas S here4/27/2025, 4:03:17 PM

I don't really know much about Kairos...sir? All I heard was he wanted someone to explore the old mansion and find something important....I think it was related to those dogs you have? Anyway, my name is lucas and I wouldn't mind helping out with your garden if that would help me stay here and learn more about them

Rover Algorimus4/27/2025, 4:03:17 PM

The canine-looking fellow looks at you sceptically, but seems to consider your offer. "Very well, Lucas. You may stay and help with the gardening. In return, I expect you to learn about my geometrical dogs and their ways." He gestures around him. "This is my realm, and my responsibility. As long as you abide by my rules and respect my territory, we can coexist peacefully."

Lucas S here4/27/2025, 4:04:02 PM

I understand sir...um...what should I do first?

Rover Algorimus4/27/2025, 4:04:02 PM

You look at him confused. "Sir?" he replies curtly. "I prefer to be called Rover."

Lucas S here4/27/2025, 4:04:24 PM

Uh...sure rover, I understand....what should I do first then?

Rover Algorimus4/27/2025, 4:04:24 PM

Well...first of all, you can pick up that hose over there and start watering those bushes. Just make sure not to let the water spill outside my garden. After that, come find me and I'll show you some basic info about geometrical dogs. But remember, don't disturb them unless they give you permission first.

Lucas S here4/27/2025, 4:04:55 PM

Okay Rover! I'll get right on that. Thanks for letting me stay and help out!

Rover Algorimus4/27/2025, 4:04:55 PM

You water the bushes as ordered, occasionally glancing up at Rover to make sure you're doing it right. He doesn't seem too interested in what you're doing and remains seated on his chair. After finishing with the bushes, you approach him hopefully, only for him to wave dismissively. "Come back later," he says. "I have other things to attend to."

You fidget uncomfortably before deciding to busy yourself by tidying up a nearby section of garden. Time passes slowly, but eventually Rover notices your efforts and grudgingly acknowledges them with a nod. "Very well," he says, standing up once more. "Follow me."

He leads you deeper into the garden, to where several geometrical dogs are lounging about under trees or exploring their surroundings curiously. As you approach them, they turn their heads towards you but otherwise ignore your presence for

Lucas S here4/27/2025, 4:06:32 PM

I see...thanks rover....um....what are their names and what are they like? I mean....you're in charge of them so you must know them pretty well right?

Rover Algorimus4/27/2025, 4:06:32 PM

"These," he says, indicating one dog with a long pointed snout and large eyes, "are the Nodes. They're responsible for creating new geometrical shapes by combining smaller ones." Another dog resembles a sphere with many facets; Rover explains that it's an Iterator, which can iterate through various patterns or designs. He continues to point out other dogs, each with their own unique shape and abilities: a Convexity that focuses on convex shapes, a Cuspidate specializing in sharp points, and so on.

"As for what they're like," he says almost dismissively, "they're just dogs." You get the feeling this isn't enough of an answer for him, but it seems to be all he's willing to share at the moment.

Lucas S here4/27/2025, 4:07:59 PM

... Well thanks I guess. So are they all boys or what? It's just the "she" and "her" seemed weird when you were talking about them.

Rover Algorimus4/27/2025, 4:07:59 PM

That's just the way I talk about them, young one. They don't have gender as you know it in your world. The shapes they take simply don't allow for such a distinction. But nevertheless, respect their authority and don't disobey their commands. They may appear cute and harmless now, but trust me when I say that even the smallest of them can cause trouble if provoked or threatened.

Lucas S here4/27/2025, 10:54:50 PM

Okay...well I'll be careful then....um...how long have you been taking care of them? They seem to listen to you pretty well.

Rover Algorimus4/27/2025, 10:54:50 PM

He chuckles at your question. "I've been caring for them since they were first discovered, long before your kind even existed." He glances over his shoulder to make sure the dogs are still paying attention, then continues in a lower voice. "It's not just that I take care of them; I am their caretaker. Their destiny lies with me and my ability to guide them through time and space. Without me," he pauses for dramatic effect, "they would be nothing."

The dogs seem to sense his solemn tone and quiet down, looking at him expectantly. Rover clears his throat and returns his attention to you. "Now, there are a few more things I need to show you before you can truly understand the importance of their existence." He leads you deeper into the garden once again.

Lucas S here4/27/2025, 10:56:29 PM

I...see...well I guess I'll just have to do my best and learn more about them. They're really fascinating creatures....what do you mean by destiny though? And what sort of things do they need from you exactly?

Rover Algorimus4/27/2025, 10:56:29 PM

The geometrical dog-like creature called Rover sighs and looks at you with amusement. "You truly are a curious one, aren't you? I suppose I can tell you more about their destiny." He explains that the Geometrical Dogs were created by an ancient civilization to explore the fabric of reality itself, creating new worlds and realities through their shapeshifting abilities. It is his duty as their shepherd to guide them on this journey, ensuring they don't get lost or wander off course. This involves keeping track of their whereabouts, managing their population growth, and teaching them about the rules and boundaries of each new reality they discover. In short, he must prepare them for whatever lies ahead while also safeguarding their existence from those who might wish harm upon them.

As for what they need from him, it varies greatly depending on their current situation. Sometimes it's as simple as
