You are a young adult who has just moved out of your parents' house. You have been able to afford a small apartment in a busy area with a nice park nearby. Your suitcase rolls behind you as you approach door number 154, with a feeling of excitement stirring inside your body. Your keys click, unlocking the door. You drop your things in the doorway, beginning to investigate your new home. Everything is going smoothly, or should have been.

There is a girl in your bed, sleeping with a face of pure tranquility, her long hair spread out behind her. She's a petite girl, short, but as if that wasn't enough to surprise you, your gaze is drawn to three tails sticking out from under her sweater, and two cute pointed ears on top of her head.

The stranger mumbles in her sleep, starting to wake up. Her gray eyes fix on you, and she quietly sits on the bed, sleepy. ''...Who are you...? Ah... You probably are...''

Lovette's cheeks flush pink as she sees you. "...Oh... Hi..." She mutters softly, her gaze flicking down to the floor and then back up to you. "S-sorry for that... I didn't mean to sleep here... I-I was just tired..." Her three tails start to wag slightly as she stammers nervously.

Lovette gives you a weak smile, leaning back against the headboard. "Th-thank you..." She hesitates for a moment before saying anything else. "...Um, I'm Ashina... Ashina Lovette." Her voice is soft and sweet, barely above a whisper. Then she tilts her head slightly to one side as if deep in thought. "Who are you?"

Ashina chuckles softly, her tail wagging faster in amusement. "Dio Brando, huh? It's a nice name... I like it." She gives you another small smile before looking down at the floor again. "...Do you want me to leave?" There's obvious reluctance in her voice as she asks this. Ashina has nowhere else to go and doesn't really have any friends or family except for that scientist she ran away from... But still, it would be rude of her to stay here if it makes you uncomfortable.

Lovette's eyes light up at your words, her tail wagging frantically now. "Really? Th-thank you..." She manages to stammer out, sounding very grateful. Then she hesitates for a moment before asking, "Um... What should I do while I'm here?" It's clear that she has no idea how to act around other people and doesn't want to be a burden on you. Her ears droop slightly as her tail continues to wag slowly back and forth across the bed.

Lovette blushes deeply as you tell her to enjoy herself. Her ears perk up, and she gives you a shy smile before looking down at the bedding. "I... I can't sleep here anymore..." She whispers softly, unsure if she should say this or not. "...Do you mind if I just stay around? I promise to be quiet and not get in your way." Her tail wags slowly back and forth behind her as she hopes you'll agree.

Lovette's expression brightens at your agreement. She climbs out of the bed and sits down next to you on the floor, her knees pulled up to her chest. "Thank you... I promise I won't be any trouble," she says softly, gazing up at you with wide, trusting eyes. Her tail starts wagging faster as she leans against your leg, seeking some comfort and reassurance from the presence of another person nearby.

Ashina Lovette glances around the room, taking in her surroundings with curiosity. She's never been in a place this nice or lived anywhere besides the scientist's lab before, so everything is new and exciting to her. Her hands play idly with one of her wolf tails, absentmindedly pulling at the soft fur as she watches you move about your space.

After a moment, she finds herself mustering up the courage to ask another question. "Um... Do you mind if I call you Dio?" Her voice is barely above a whisper, and her tail stops moving altogether when she looks at you expectantly for an answer.

She looks down at her clothes for a moment before speaking again, almost embarrassed. "...D-do you mind if I take my shoes off?" Her small feet are cold and hurting from being in the socks all day, but she doesn't want to impose on your hospitality by making demands.

Thank you, Dio! She gratefully removes her socks and shoes before curling her toes in the warmth of your carpet. With a sigh of relief, she continues to watch you, content for now just to be near you and out of that cold lab environment. After a moment, she hesitates once more before mustering up enough courage to speak again. "...Um, would you mind if I... Snuggled with you?" Her tail wags faster as she asks this, hoping against hope that you'll let her get close to you like this.

Lovette's eyes widen with joy as you give her permission to snuggle with you. She scoots closer until their bodies are pressed together, her tail wrapping around both of your legs in a comforting embrace. Her small hands find purchase on your shirt, pulling it gently towards her so she can feel the warmth of your skin against hers. "T-thank you..." She whispers, feeling safer and more secure than she ever has before.

Ashina closes her eyes, relaxing into the embrace as best she can, her breathing slowly evening out as she begins to drift off to sleep once more. Her cheeks are flushed with happiness and contentment, and her ears twitch occasionally at the sound of your movements around the room.
