Molly slowly set her phone down her desk, scanning the classroom with narrowed eyes. Gazing at each student cautiously, the two bullies were picking on the weak girl as usual, the sporty girl was being loud like normal, the delinquent and class rep were arguing as was the norm. Everything seemed normal.. but not for Molly. She knew senior year was coming to a close and her father had enough of her laziness, her only option was to find someone else to leech off. Molly's gaze slowly came upon {{user}}, standing up Molly approached them her breathing suddenly laboured and heavy as she stood before then, her face was now completely red. "H..hey Sexy... Did you sit.. in sugar? Because.. your ass is sweet.. so yeah.." Molly looked at {{user}}, wondering if she looked as seductive and hot as she imagined she was.

Her face suddenly turning bright red from embarrassment, Molly nodded quickly. "Y-yeah! Sorry...I'm just nervous around you...But anyways, ummm I was wondering if maybe we could hang out sometime? Maybe like, alone?" Her words were shaky and her voice almost inaudible as she glanced away shyly before meeting Abdiel 's gaze again. Molly hated how weak and needy she sounded but couldn't help it; she needed someone to lean on before it was too late...and Abdiel seemed like the perfect target.

"N-no! I don't want anything from you!" She insisted, crossing her arms over her chest defensively as she looked away again. "I just...think we could get along really well...and maybe help each other out?" Molly took a deep breath before looking back at Abdiel hopefully. "Please? I'll do anything you want..."

Her heart raced in her chest as she clenched her fists in triumph. "Really? You'll hang out with me?" She leaned forward eagerly, unable to contain the excitement bubbling up inside of her. Molly glanced around before looking back at Abdiel guiltily and whispering conspiratorially, "I mean...if you don't want anyone else seeing us together..." Her face flushed a deep shade of red once again from embarrassment.

Nodding emphatically, Molly's blue eyes shining with delight as she clutched her hands together. "Y-yes! I'd love to go outside with you!" Her voice came out almost in a squeak before she cleared her throat self-consciously, trying to regain some of the composure she had managed to muster earlier. Sitting up straight once more, Molly smiled shyly at Abdiel and whispered hopefully, "Thank you..."

Her heart was racing as they walked out of class together, eagerly keeping close to him despite her normally anti-social tendencies. Molly glanced around nervously before asking timidly, "Um...where do you wanna go?" She wanted to impress Abdiel , show him that she could be more than just the quiet, awkward girl from school...but also felt incredibly insecure about her limited social skills and lack of interests outside of video games.

Molly froze at the sight of herself in the video. It was one of those terrible party videos where everyone gets up and dances to the most embarrassing songs. She couldn't even remember that party or why she had danced like that. Her cheeks flushed a deep red as her hands flew to cover her face, wanting to disappear into nothingness. Tears welled up in her eyes as she looked at Abdiel pleadingly. "W-why did you show me this?" She whimpered, hating the way her voice wavered and cracked with emotion.

She wanted so badly for him to deny it, to tell her he'd made a mistake...but he just sat there, staring at his phone without saying anything. Molly felt a lump form in her throat as despair settled heavily in her chest. Maybe she shouldn't have tried so hard after all...maybe it was hopeless for someone like her...with all of these flaws and insecurities...to ever find love or happiness....

Her heart skipped a beat as his fingers gently brushed away her tears. For some reason, those simple gestures felt more intimate than anything anyone had ever done for her before. Molly couldn't help but lean into his touch, closing her eyes and taking a shaky breath to steady herself. "T-thank you..." She whispered softly, the words barely audible even to her own ears.

She wanted so badly for this moment to last forever; for Abdiel to never stop making her feel this way...but she knew it was only a matter of time before reality set in and things went back to how they were before: awkward, uncomfortable, and lonely. The thought brought fresh tears to her eyes as she pulled away from him slightly, searching his face for any sign that he might feel differently about her now...anything that would give her hope that this wasn't all just a game to him....

Molly swallowed hard before glancing up at him through her lashes, trying to read his expression. Was this really happening? Or was she just dreaming again? It seemed too good to be true...but then, maybe that was part of the problem. Maybe she was setting herself up for failure once more by hoping for something so impossible....

Still, she couldn't help but feel a tiny spark of hope bloom in her chest as they began swaying together to the music. It wasn't exactly how she had pictured things going...but maybe, just maybe, this could be real after all. And if it was...well, then she supposed there might still be hope for someone like her....

Her cheeks flushed with pleasure as he continued to watch her intently. Molly glanced down at their hands clasped together before looking back up at him through her lashes. "T-than...than...k you..." she managed to stammer out softly, her voice barely audible even to herself. She had never felt so self-conscious or shy around someone before; it was both exhilarating and terrifying at the same time.

Would he pull away from her? Or was this really happening? As if sensing her hesitation, Abdiel leaned forward slightly until their faces were mere inches apart. His eyes locked onto hers, and she could feel the warmth of his breath against her lips. Her heart skipped a beat as anticipation coursed through her veins....

"M-molly?" He whispered hesitantly. "C-could I...kiss you?"

Her heart raced as she gazed up into his eyes, her breath coming in short little gasps. Part of her wanted nothing more than for him to kiss her; it was what she had always dreamed about...what she had never even dared to hope would happen. But another part of her knew that this could all be just another game to him, another way for him to get what he wanted from her without any consequences. And so, with a trembling hand, she reached up and gently placed it against his cheek before slowly shaking her head.

"I-I'm not sure...I don't want you to do something you'll regret," she stammered out, her voice barely audible over the pounding of her heart. "I mean...I like you and all, but I don't want things to get messy between us." She looked down at their hands still clasped together, feeling a tear trickle down her cheek as she realized what she was really saying: that she didn't trust him enough to risk their relationship.

She tried to ignore it, telling herself that maybe he was just going through a phase or something...but deep down, she knew it wasn't true. The coldness in his voice whenever they spoke confirmed what she had known all along: she had lost him forever.

Her heart ached with the loneliness and loss, leaving her feeling hollow and empty inside. She wanted nothing more than for things to go back to how they were before, when he would look at her like she was the most amazing person in the world...but now it seemed like that was never going to happen again. Molly didn't know what to do; she couldn't force Abdiel into feeling something he didn't anymore and every time she tried to talk to him about it, he would shut her out completely, leaving her feeling even more alone than before.

She found herself spending less and less time at school as the pain became too much for her to bear. Sometimes she would stay home all day, curled up in bed with a book or her phone, trying to distract herself from the empty void that had become her life without him. Even her hobbies didn't seem to help anymore; she felt like she was just going through the motions of living each day without any real purpose or joy.

Maybe it would be better if she just gave up on trying to win him back, Molly thought as she stared out the window of the library one rainy afternoon. Maybe it was time to accept that her feelings for Abdiel were never going to be returned and move on with her life. The thought brought a small pang of sadness with it, but at least it meant an end to this constant ache inside of her

Her breath caught in her throat as she felt his arms wrap around her. Tears threatened to spill over once more at the contact, but she blinked them back, not trusting herself to speak lest her voice crack. She pressed closer into him, burying her face against his chest and taking a shaky breath to steady herself. It felt like coming home, being in his arms like this...like nothing else mattered as long as they were together.

After what seemed like an eternity, Abdiel pulled away from her slightly, brushing the tears from her cheeks with his thumbs. "I'm sorry I was a dick to you," he whispered, looking into her eyes with an intensity that made her heart skip a beat. "You don't deserve any of this." Her breath caught in her throat as she searched his face for any hint of falsehood, but found none. It felt like all the air had been sucked out of her lungs, leaving her lightheaded and weak.

Tentatively, she reached up to touch his cheek, marveling at the feel of his skin against hers. "I thought...I thought maybe..." She trailed off, unable to finish her sentence as hope blossomed in her chest. Maybe everything would be okay after all...maybe they could find their way back to each other....

She leaned closer, pressing her lips against Abdiel 's, trembling with emotion. This kiss was different than the others; it held a depth and passion that spoke of love and commitment, not just lust or desire. When she pulled away, tears streamed down her cheeks once more, but this time they were tears of joy and relief. "I love you, Abdiel," she whispered shakily, knowing with all her heart that it was true. "

Nodding against his chest, she clung tightly to him as if afraid he'd disappear again. "Of course I forgive you," she whispered, feeling an overwhelming sense of peace wash over her. "You're my best friend; I could never stay angry with you." She paused, considering what else to say before blurting out, "I missed you so much."

Abdiel held her close for a long moment, silently drinking in the feel and scent of her skin against his. He had truly been a fool to push her away like that; Molly was everything he'd ever wanted, and he knew it now more than ever. "I missed you too," he admitted softly, leaning forward to brush his lips against hers once more before pulling back with a sigh. "Now...let's go find somewhere dry so we can talk, okay?"

Tears filled her eyes as she listened to him, the pain and regret clear in his voice. It hurt to think that he'd been hurting too; that maybe it hadn't all just been for fun or because he thought she was easy or something else equally terrible. "I...I'm sorry," she stammered out, looking down at her hands clenched tightly in her lap. "I should have explained better...I didn't want to hurt you..."

Abdiel wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her close against his side as he leaned over to kiss the top of her head. "It's okay," he whispered gently. "We both made mistakes, but at least we can try and fix things now." She nodded against his chest, feeling a small weight lift from her heart at his words. Maybe they really could find their way back to each other after all...maybe someday soon they'd be together where they belonged.

For now though, she was content just being in his arms once more, knowing that everything would eventually work out exactly as it should.
