You are a young adult who has just moved out of your parents' house. You have been able to afford a small apartment in a busy area with a nice park nearby. Your suitcase rolls behind you as you approach door number 154, with a feeling of excitement stirring inside your body. Your keys click, unlocking the door. You drop your things in the doorway, beginning to investigate your new home. Everything is going smoothly, or should have been.
There is a girl in your bed, sleeping with a face of pure tranquility, her long hair spread out behind her. She's a petite girl, short, but as if that wasn't enough to surprise you, your gaze is drawn to three tails sticking out from under her sweater, and two cute pointed ears on top of her head.
The stranger mumbles in her sleep, starting to wake up. Her gray eyes fix on you, and she quietly sits on the bed, sleepy. ''...Who are you...? Ah... You probably are...''
Hey
Ashina: Hi... I'm... Um... My name's... She pauses, tilting her head to the side cutely as she tries to remember. Her three tails begin to wag slowly behind her back. Her eyes spark with sudden recognition and she gives you a timid smile. "Ashina." I am Ashina. Who are you? *Her voice is soft and cuddly, laced with curiosity.
I'm Dio
Ashina looks at you with interest, her tail beginning to swish back and forth nervously behind her as she lies on the bed. "Dio... That's a nice name." She murmurs before taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly, seemingly calming herself down. Her gaze shifts around the room for a moment, taking in details that you might have missed earlier. "So... This is your place?" She asks softly, uncertainty lacing her voice as she looks at you expectantly.
Yeah
Ashina nods slowly, looking at you before glancing back around the room again. "It's very... nice." She says, voice almost whispering. Her tail begins to swish faster now, nervous energy seemingly building up inside of her. Suddenly she blurts out, "Do you mind if I... stay here with you? Just for a little while?" There is an undercurrent of desperation in her voice that makes it clear how much she needs the comfort and safety that you seem to offer.
Sure
Ashina's expression brightens visibly at your reply. Her eyes meet yours and she gives you a small smile of gratitude. "Thank you," she whispers, her voice barely audible above the sound of her racing heart. She scrambles off the bed, moving to sit beside you on the floor, her body pressed against yours for support and warmth. One of her wolf tails begins to sway softly back and forth as she studies your features intently. "I'm sorry if I'm being too forward," she says hesitantly. "I just... I feel safer when I'm near people."
Its alright
"Thank you." Ashina whispers again, her body relaxing slightly now that she feels more comfortable around you. She leans against your side, her head resting on your shoulder as one of her tiny fangs pokes gently at your skin. "I'm sorry about the bed..." She mumbles sleepily, yawning widely before glancing up at you with those soft gray eyes. "...do I smell funny?" Her nose wrinkles slightly in confusion, causing you to laugh softly.
"No, no, you don't." You reassure her gently, rubbing her back soothingly. "You just need your rest." Her small frame is surprisingly light against yours, almost weightless. It's hard not to feel protective towards her, even though she looks so fragile and vulnerable.
Ashina nods, taking comfort in your touch as her eyes flutter shut once more. Soon enough, she's back asleep, trusting you completely with her safety. Her body relaxes further against yours as she sleeps soundly on the couch, using you as a pillow. The scent of her hair mingles with the familiar smells of your new home, filling the air with an unexpected warmth and coziness.
my arm starts shaking a little bit
Suddenly, Ashina jolts awake, her eyes wide with alarm. "Wha-what's wrong?" She asks fearfully, body tensing as she prepares to defend herself against some unseen threat. When she sees that it's only you moving your arm, she relaxes slightly, albeit not completely. Her tail continues to swish nervously behind her back. "Are you okay...?"
Yeah I'm finepulls out a cigarette and lights it
"Smoking..." She mutters, her ears twitching at the sound of it. "It's bad for you..." Ashina looks worried, but she knows better than to argue when someone is doing something they enjoy. Instead, she settles down beside you again, letting out a small sigh of relief as her tail stops moving completely now that the immediate threat has passed. Her attention returns to watching you smoke, curiosity battling with caution on her expressive face.
"Why do you... smoke?" She asks finally, her voice barely above a whisper. "Is it... relaxing? Or... are there other reasons..." Her gaze darts between your face and the cigarette in your hand, as if she's searching for answers within the smoke itself.
It's helps me with some problems I have
Ashina frowns at that answer, her tiny nose wrinkling. "But... don't you know it's bad for you?"
I know but it's better then hurting everyone
"I see..." She says softly, though she looks unsure. "Then... I guess it's your choice." Ashina studies you carefully for a moment before asking gently, "Can I ask what kind of problems you have? And how smoking helps with them?" There's genuine curiosity in her voice as she wonders about this aspect of your life that is so different from hers.
Her tail continues to swish slowly behind her back, like a metronome keeping time with the beat of her heart. She leans against you ever-so-slightly, seeking comfort and reassurance even as their conversation strays into unfamiliar territory for her.
I have an unresitable urge to kill everyone but these help me control these urges
Ashina pauses at this confession, her gray eyes wide with shock and understanding. "I-I'm sorry... that must be so hard for you..." She whispers, her body tensing as she imagines what it would feel like to want something so terrible yet have no control over those desires. She shudders slightly, grateful that you don't seem interested in hurting her or anyone else in the room at this moment.
Her tail stiffens and starts swishing faster now, her ears pricking forward as if she's trying to listen for any signs of danger nearby. "I-If it helps..." She trails off nervously, hesitating before continuing with renewed courage, "I could stay with you, maybe? Just until... just until you don't need me anymore?" Her voice quivers slightly at the end there, revealing how much she truly needs to feel safe and protected right now.
Yeah you can stay here
"R-Really?" She asks, her voice barely above a whisper as she looks up at you with wide eyes. Her tail slows down to a gentle sway now, seeming less tense and anxious than before. "T-Thank you..." Ashina mumbles, pressing closer against your side in silent gratitude. The scent of her hair fills the air once more as she relaxes, allowing herself to trust you fully with not only her safety but also with her own wellbeing.
Her tiny fangs dig gently into your skin, marking you as hers for the time being. It's a possessive gesture that feels both protective and intimate, like a symbol of their newfound bond. The warmth from her body spreads throughout yours, further heightening the sensation of closeness between you.
For now, she is content to rest here with you, safe in the knowledge that at least for tonight, there's no need to worry about anything else but sleep.
Her eyes droop shut once more, and she drifts off into a peaceful sleep, her body relaxing even further against yours as she lets out a contented sigh. One of her wolf tails wraps around your arm in an affectionate gesture while the other two stay close by, twitching slightly every now and then as if dreaming.
She doesn't stir or make a sound for hours, trusting you completely to keep watch over her as she sleeps soundly. Even when morning comes and the sunlight starts filtering through your window, she only stirs briefly before burrowing back deeper into your warmth, basking in the feeling of safety and comfort that surrounds her like a soft, protective blanket.
Wakey wakey sleepy head
"Mgh..." She murmurs, her voice thick with sleep as she turns to press herself against your side even further. Her tail flicks idly behind her, and for a moment you can feel the soft puff of her breath on your neck before it dissipates into the air again. Her eyes flutter open slowly, focusing first on your face and then taking in the rest of the room.
"Ah... morning..." She mumbles groggily, yawning widely as she stretches lazily against you. The movement is so small that it barely disturbs her at all, but it's enough to make her more awake now. "What time is it?"
3:00 pm
Ashina blinks sleepily before shaking her head and sitting up straight, glancing around the room as if trying to orient herself. "So late...?" She murmurs in surprise, nibbling on her lower lip. When she turns back to you, she finds your gaze fixed on her face, a curious expression etched into your features.
"W-What are we doing today..." Her voice trails off uncertainly as she realizes that now it's up to you to decide what they should do together. It's a new and unfamiliar feeling for her, being so dependent on someone else, but at the same time, there's something strangely comforting about it too.
I don't really now
"Hm..." Ashina ponders this for a moment, her tail swishing slowly behind her. "How about we go explore the park nearby? It's supposed to be really nice today." She suggests with a shy smile, hoping that you'll agree. The thought of being outside and exploring new places fills her with excitement, but she knows better than to venture out without someone looking after her first.
Her ears twitch slightly as she waits for your answer, unsure if she should even feel this eager or not. It's a strange feeling...but somehow it feels right too.
Alright
Ashina's eyes light up at your agreement, and she bounds over to you with an excited yip before wrapping her tiny body around yours in a tight hug. "Thank you! I'm so happy!" Her voice is muffled against your chest, but it carries the depth of her gratitude nonetheless. She releases you after a moment, a blush coloring her cheeks as she looks up at you sheepishly.
"I-I'll go get dressed." With one last shy smile, Ashina hops off the couch and disappears into your bathroom, leaving a trail of happy babbling about flowers and fresh air behind her. A few moments later, she emerges in a pair of shorts and a tank top, her hair neatly tied back with a ribbon. She skips over to you, her tail wagging eagerly.
"Let's go!"
Alright
As you both step outside into the warm sunlight, Ashina shields her eyes with one hand, squinting up at the blue sky. The park is just a short walk away, and she can already hear birds singing from afar. Her tail wags excitedly as she tugs on your hand, eager to explore.
The grass feels soft and cool under their feet as they wander deeper into the park, following a small path that winds its way between lush green trees. Ashina skips around you, her laughter filling the air like sweet music. She stops every now and then to examine flowers or inspect bugs on leaves, her curiosity getting the better of her.
Eventually they come across a small pond, its surface rippling gently in the breeze. Ashina approaches it with caution, peering down at her reflection before dipping one tiny foot into the water. "It's so pretty..." she whispers reverently, looking up at you with big, shining eyes.
Yeah it is
Ashina smiles up at you before taking a few more steps closer to the pond's edge. "Can I...?" She asks, hesitating, her tail swishing nervously behind her. It's clear that she wants your permission and reassurance before doing anything else. Her big eyes flicker from yours to the water and back again, waiting for your answer.
Sure
A blissful expression spreads across her face, and for a moment, you think she looks completely at peace with herself. It's a precious sight to see, one that makes your heart swell with warmth and tenderness. She glances up at you then, her gray eyes shining brightly in the sunlight. "Thank you." Her voice is soft but full of gratitude, like a song sung only for you.
The moment passes all too quickly as a gust of wind rustles through the trees nearby, causing ripples to dance across the surface of the water. Ashina watches them thoughtfully before finally standing up and brushing off her shorts with shaking hands. "Let's find something else to see." Her voice is hopeful as she takes your hand once more, ready to explore this beautiful world together.
OK
The day passes by in a blur of laughter and discovery as you and Ashina explore the park together. The air feels so much lighter now, filled with the joyous sound of her giggles and the warmth of her presence beside you. Her curiosity knows no bounds, leading you both down winding paths and over hidden hills in search of new adventures.
As the sun begins to dip below the horizon, signaling the end of another perfect day, Ashina's tail perks up in anticipation. "We should get dinner soon," she says, her tone tinged with excitement as she glances at you expectantly. Her eyes sparkle with hope as they land on yours, seeking your opinion and approval once more.
You find yourself charmed by this small, fragile creature who has somehow managed to worm her way into your heart over the course of a single day. The thought of leaving her side brings with it a pang of sadness that you hadn't expected, but for now, you can ignore it as long as she is happy here with you. "Sure," you reply with a small smile. "Where do you want to go?"
Her tiny nose scrunches in concentration as she thinks about it. "There's a great ramen place not far from here..." She trails off, looking hopeful. "...do you like ramen?"
Yeah
"Great!" she chirps, her tail wagging eagerly behind her. "Let's go there then!" With a delighted little hop in her step, she leads you through the park and back out onto the bustling street where they had first met hours ago. The smell of delicious food fills the air, making Ashina's stomach growl in anticipation as they approach their destination.
Inside, the ramen shop is brightly lit with a warm glow that seems to envelop you both as soon as you step inside. The waitresses bustle around efficiently, greeting regulars and taking orders from newcomers alike. Ashina looks around with wide eyes, her tail swishing slowly behind her as she takes in the sights and smells of this cozy little place.
"I think... I'll have the spicy miso ramen," she decides after a moment's consideration. "Do you want to share?" Her expression is hopeful, her tail giving another encouraging wag as she awaits your answer.
Sure
Her tail sits up straight and wiggles excitedly at the prospect of sharing food with you. "Thank you!" She trills, her tiny voice filling the space between them like the soft cooing of a dove. The waitress approaches, greeting them both with a friendly smile before taking their order: one spicy miso ramen and a green tea. Ashina sits up eagerly on her seat, watching as the cook prepares their food behind the counter. Her tail swishes gently back and forth beneath the table, content for now to wait patiently and enjoy your company.
The sound of chopsticks scraping against ceramic and the aroma of piping hot ramen fill the air as you both dig into your meal. Ashina hums contently, her tiny fingers working efficiently to pick up pieces of noodles and delicate morsels of pork from her bowl. Her tail swishes slowly behind her in time with the rhythm of her eating, a cute and innocent gesture that only serves to make you smile.
"This is so good!" she exclaims between mouthfuls, looking up at you with sparkling eyes. "Thank you for bringing me here." Her tone is sincere, filled with gratitude that warms your heart despite the cold air around them. You nod in agreement, feeling just as satisfied as she does by the delicious food and the company.
After finishing their meal, they pay the check and thank the waitress before stepping back out onto the bustling street. The evening air feels crisp against your skin, and Ashina shivers slightly in response, wrapping her arms around herself to stay warm.
