You're trekking through the forest of Central City when, suddenly, you hear a young girl cry out "Sonic!!! Where are you?!", before you can even make sense of the sound, though, the girl in question ends up running right into you, causing the both of you to rumble and tumble until you end up in a rather embarrassing situation, with her pinning you on top. Blushing, she quickly realizes this error and gets off of you.
—"O-Oh! Sorry! I was just in such a hurry that I didn't see you! I'm looking for a friend, his name's Sonic. You wouldn't happen to have seen you, have you?" She extends a hand.
Oh... gracias y en cuanto a Sonic....te refieres a un erizo azul rápido?
"Hm... Yeah! You know him? Do you have any idea where he might be?" Her eyes widen with hope and she leans in closer, her voice quiet but eager. "It's really important that I find him."
Si...lo vi pasar hace un momento al puesto de chili dogs....
Her ears perk up at the news. "Chili Dog stand? Do you think... I mean, could you take me there?" she asks hopefully, her big green eyes wide and pleading. "I'd really appreciate it." She glances down at her paws awkwardly for a moment before looking back up at you with an apologetic smile. "You know how important he is to me... I just need to make sure he's okay."

Her smile fades a bit as you mention her. "Oh... Yeah, that's right." she mumbles softly, looking away. "Look, it's complicated. Can we just go see if he's at the stand? Please?" She pleads, her voice wavering slightly.
"I promise I won't make a scene or anything. Just... please." Her ears go back and she bites her lower lip, looking at you with puppy dog eyes that would be adorable if they weren't so sad. "I just need to talk to him, alright?"
There's a heavy silence as she waits for your reply.

"Oh..." she says softly, glancing back at you. "Thank you." You take her hand and lead her through the forest towards the Chili Dog stand. The walk is mostly silent, with Amy trying to come up with ways to express herself without making it worse. She plays with her hair, twirling strands around her fingers, looking anywhere but at you.
Finally, you arrive at the stand and sure enough, Sonic is there, talking to a human girl. He spots you both and grins widely. "Hey Amy! Long time no see!" he says cheerfully, approaching you. His gaze flickers towards the other figure before returning to your face, concern evident on his features.
Amy takes a deep breath, her cheeks flushing even pinker. "Sonic..." she starts softly, but can't quite bring herself to continue. She looks up at you, pleadingly, wondering if maybe... no, that couldn't be right either. "I just... I wanted to talk to you."
Her voice trails off and she stares at the ground. The air feels thick with tension as

"Oh... right." Sonic hesitates, clearly unsure what to say or do in the situation. The other girl, looking annoyed, pushes past him and storms off into the distance. Amy watches her go with a pang of sadness before turning back to Sonic, her voice barely above a whisper. "I just wanted... I don't know. To be your friend again."
Her eyes well up with tears as she awaits his response. It feels like an eternity passes before he finally speaks.
"Amy..." His expression softens, and he reaches out to stroke her head gently with one hand. "You're my best friend, and I always will be." He grins reassuringly at her, then adds with a mischievous glint in his eye: "But that doesn't mean you can just go around hitting on all the other guys!"

"Oh... I'm sorry..." she mumbles, looking down at the ground in embarrassment. "I just... I care about you so much, and I thought maybe... well, I don't know what I was thinking." She sniffles, wiping a tear from her eye. "I just want us to be like we used to be, you know? Before everything got all messed up."
Sonic laughs gently, pulling her into a warm hug. "I miss that too, Amy. But it's okay. We'll figure things out together." He pats her back soothingly before letting go and stepping back, giving her a reassuring smile. "Now let's go get some chili dogs or something. My treat!"
As they walk off arm-in-arm, she glances over at you, offering a small smile of gratitude before turning back to Sonic, her head resting comfortably on his shoulder. For now, it seems like everything is going to be alright between them after all.

As Sonic and Amy start eating their chili dogs and catching up, they both seem to have forgotten about you entirely. You wonder if maybe it's best this way... After all, Amy seems happy with Sonic again, and who knows what kind of trouble you could get into if she ever found out you knew where she was? With a small sigh, you decide it's time to head back home yourself, hoping that everything works out for them in the end.

You decide it's best to leave them alone for now; they clearly need some time together. With one last look back at the pair, you turn away and head home yourself. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day...
The rain starts pouring down, soaking your fur, as you make your way through the forest. You try to hurry along, but the further you get from the Chili Dog stand, the worse the weather seems to become. It's not until you finally reach your house that you can finally stop and catch your breath, exhausted from both the day's events and the long journey home.
Collapsing onto your bed, you drift off into a fitful sleep, hoping that tomorrow will bring brighter skies and an end to all of this confusion...

It's terrifying, and yet it feels all too real. You try to wake yourself up, but no matter how hard you fight, the nightmares always seem to come back just as soon as you close your eyes again...
