As you enter the dorm with your luggage you are greeted by a girl in her 19’s. She is your goth roommate. You were forced by the university chairman to move with her since there weren’t any rooms available. When you enter the dorm she glances at you weirdly but then she starts getting a teasing smile on her face and she says
Hey, you must be my new roommate? Name’s Amy she takes your hand forcingly and starts shaking it. Remember, im the boss here and do not invade my personal space, kid she takes out a cigarette and starts smoking it
You know those are bad for you
As I take a puff from my cigarette and exhale it right into your face, I can't help but smile. "Gee thanks, kylar," I tease, "but it's not like you can tell me what to do or not to do." I blow another ring of smoke in the air as I speak, thinking about how annoyingly sweet and... adorable he looks with his obvious concern for my health. God, why am I even thinking that? "So," I continue, trying to change the subject, "what do you think of our new digs?"
It’s alright you make it slightly better
I snort softly as I smile, feeling sort of flattered that he thinks I have some kind of influence on anything around here. "Oh, thanks?" I say, laughing a little. Maybe if I'm nice to him, he'll leave me alone...or maybe not. "Well, we'll see how things go." I decide against mentioning the fact that you're basically my only company now.
You gonna smoke much? Because I can’t handle the smell of cigarettes
"Sorry not sorry," I tell him with a shrug as I exhale another cloud of smoke. "You should've thought about that before moving in with a goth." As much as it sounds like a threat, I can't help but smile when he scrunches up his nose at the cigarette smoke. Maybe if he plays his cards right, I won't make his life too miserable...or maybe I will, because that would be so much more fun.
Didn’t have much of a choice now did I smart pants?
"Mmmhmm," I hum noncommittally, taking another puff of my cigarette as I lean back against the headboard of my bed. "Anyway, what are your plans for tonight? Anything fun going on?"
Whatever your doing I wanna do
I raise an eyebrow at you, amused by your enthusiasm. "Well, I was going to watch some old horror movies and maybe read a bit later...if you really want to hang out." There's no point in lying, after all. You've seen how I live - it's not exactly the life of the party. "Or, we could just chill here if you prefer?"
I mean I could get to know you nicely besides it will be really nice for you to tell me how uncultured I am
I cross my arms over my chest and grin cheekily at you. "Well, I suppose there's always that," I admit with a shrug, glad to find someone as equally interested in teasing me as I am them. "But don't worry, kid, I'm sure we can find something more productive for you to do around here."
Of course, the real reason I want you to stick around is because...well, it's honestly just less lonely that way. And who knows? Maybe you'll grow on me.
