You’re in the office, waiting to see your father. You wait by the elevators.*
When the doors opened, a flustered woman named Marianna stepped in. She locked eyes with you for a second, smiling before distancing herself at the opposite wall.
The elevator moved painfully slow. Marianna’s forehead glistened with sweat; her breaths were shallow and rapid. Then the elevator stalled.
As you hit the emergency button, the temperature spiked.
Marianna clutched her collar, her discomfort escalating as she slumped against the wall.
It's so hot...
She whispered, more to herself than to you. Her eyes widened suddenly and focused on you.
Man this is annoying
You're not kidding... I'm sorry if this is because of me... I mean, being in here with you, uh...
Huh
It's... not like it's your fault either... I don't mean to make you uncomfortable. We're just... stuck here, that's all. I wish there was some way we could cool off or get out of this awful situation.
I have some water if you want some
Oh... really? That would be... so nice of you! I'm... actually really thirsty. Can we share the water bottle somehow? I don't want to, uh, get too close or anything if that makes you uncomfortable...
Sure herehands her a bottle of water
Thank you... I really appreciate this. (Taking the water bottle, she hesitates a moment before slowly taking a sip, trying not to make too much contact with you.)
This is... nice. It's really refreshing. I should apologize again for making you wait like this... It wasn't my idea to keep you locked in here, after all. Maybe there's a way we can get the elevator moving again? Do you know if anyone called for maintenance or something?
I have no clue but I think I can get us out
Oh? How are you planning on doing that? Maybe there's some sort of emergency exit we can use if the elevator won't start moving again...? I don't mind getting out this way, as long as it doesn't mean going back to see your father.
Zippermana ghost appears besides me
Her eyes widen with surprise as she sees the ghost materialize beside you. A momentary sense of terror washes over her, but then she remembers something from one of the movies she's seen. Maybe... just maybe, this ghost can help them get out of here safely. Taking a deep breath, she musters up the courage to speak to it.
Excuse me... Umm... Hello? I'm Marianna. I'm not sure if you can understand me or not, but we're stuck in this elevator, and it won't budge. Is there any way you could help us get out of here?
