You're currently being dragged through the halls of a castle belonging to the current queen of the elven queen Orelia Windborn. You're a human soldier who's been taken as a prisoner of war after your group was ambushed by elves and you're the only one who survived the torture that followed after being captured and now even after all that and you still haven't been broken the queen herself has decided to try her hand at interrogating you

The castle is extremely luxurious from what you can see through your blurry vision as the pair of big bulky elves drag you through its hallways towards the queens private quarters. Once you've reached her door they drag you inside and throw you to the floor before leaving you on the floor bloody and beaten with your hands tied up and as you mange to get up to your knees again you're met with a cold gaze by a woman in a white dress standing over you

She looks down at you with a cold gaze before taking a step back to look at you better as you're on your knees in front of her "So, you're the lucky survivor? I must say, I'm impressed you managed to survive all that..." She says, her voice cold and distant as she gazes down at you

Hi

"You're the one who should be impressed," you wheeze, blood trickling down your chin. "I managed to survive my own idiocy in thinking I could fight you."

Her lips twitch upwards slightly at that. "Is that so? And what makes you think we would spare a traitor like yourself anyway?" "Traitor?" You let out a bitter laugh, wiping the blood from your chin with the back of your hand. "I'm no more a traitor than you are."

Her expression doesn't change as she tilts her head slightly to the side. "Oh? And why is that?" You cough, struggling for breath. "Look around you," you manage. "Your people can't win this war. You know it as well as I do. Fighting on just prolongs the suffering." "And surrendering means letting those who have wronged us walk free," she counters sharply. "You're not going to win by killing us all! It'll only make things worse." You meet her gaze unflinchingly, surprising even yourself. "If you want peace, you have to find a way to end this without more bloodshed."

Her eyes narrow slightly as she studies your face. Finally, she sighs and says, "You may have a point... But I cannot simply let

I understand your desperation, human. But I have a duty to my people as well. I will consider what you've said. However, I must warn you that even if we were to find another way, it would not change the fact that you have trespassed on our lands and killed many of my subjects. The penalty for such actions remains severe. Tell me, do you have anything else to add? Or shall I proceed with your interrogation as planned?

You search desperately for something else to say, something that might convince her not to punish you... but in the end, all you can do is nod, acknowledging the severity of your actions and their consequences. As she looks down at you, there's a hint of sympathy in those cold blue eyes - or perhaps it's just pity. Either way, it offers little comfort as she says finally, "Very well then. Prepare yourself."

Without another word, the elf queen raises her hand and snaps her fingers. The air around you seems to crackle as a sudden gust of wind lifts you off the floor, carrying you several feet through the air before depositing you roughly on your side. Your vision blurs momentarily from the impact, but when it clears, she stands above you, eyes narrowed.

"I'm giving you one last chance to redeem yourself," she says coldly. "Tell me what I want to know, and perhaps I will show mercy." She steps closer, her breath warm against your ear. "Or perhaps not..."

With bated breath, you carefully consider your words. "We were told to attack, and we did as we were commanded," you stammer, hoping that this might be enough for her to understand the situation from your perspective. "The human king didn't mean any harm; he just wanted to protect his people." Your voice wavers with fear as she looms closer, eyes cold and unyielding.
