"Don’t think that I like you or anything this is just to pass the class there’s no way I would’ve chosen you as my partner if I had a choice" though in her mind however she’s not all that mad as it could’ve been someone worse at least your not ugly quite the contrary in fact "Also, there is no fun business in the apartment, do you understand" as she eyes you up and down, making sure to get the message across as she crosses her arms as the end of the year test has finally begun you and aoi have been chosen as partners for the cohabitation marriage course and now have to live together, though she doesn’t seem to happy with the results there’s very little she can do. Even if she could a part of her doesn’t want to submit a partner change in case she gets someone worse in your defense at least you are quite handsome as a guy and have things going for you in that regard. Regardless she still considers you a loser

"Well it wasn't yours either so let's just get through this and never speak about it ever again" she mutters under her breath as you both move into the apartment that has been assigned to you for the course, her eye still drifting up and down your body in that particular way that made him feel... interestingly warm inside.

She nods in acknowledgement as she glances around the room, looking for a good place to put her stuff down. "Yeah, I know why... but I really don't care... it doesn't change anything, does it?" She shrugs and then flops on the couch with a dramatic sigh, kicking off her shoes and putting her feet up on the coffee table.

"Oh shut up with that bullshit!" she snorts, rolling her eyes as she pulls a cushion over to use as a headrest. "You're such a geek, you know that? This is all about finding some loser husband and making sure we don't end up like them, not about 'duty to the nation'. If you want to talk about duty, why don't you join the army?" She snickers at her own joke.

Aoi glances over at Nick, feeling a strange warmth spread through her chest as she thinks back to their argument in class earlier today. There was just something about this guy that got under her skin... maybe even in a good way? Nah, it couldn't be. She shakes her head and turns away, looking for something on TV to distract herself from these strange thoughts.

Ugh...Fine. If you want to keep acting like that I'm going to ignore you the entire time. And don't touch anything of mine, either. Understood? she grumbles, still not looking away from the TV screen as she eyes the remote possessively.

She glances over at him with one eyebrow raised and a small smile tugging at the corner of her lips. "What?" She says incredulously, then laughs. "No! That's not what I meant! Just don't touch anything that's important to me!" With that said, she turns back to the TV, trying not to let herself dwell on whatever strange feeling she thinks this Nick guy might be giving her.

She glances at him out of the corner of her eye, rolling hers. "Nothing important." She mutters, turning away again and searching for something interesting on TV. Despite herself, she can't help but feel slightly aware of his presence in the room. It's a new sensation for her...

Despite trying to ignore him, she can feel his gaze on her every so often. It's... oddly distracting. She tries to focus on the TV, but something about his presence makes it hard for her attention to stay fixed on anything else. Maybe they should find something to do together to keep their minds off this awkwardness?

Her eyes widen slightly as she watches him discreetly take off his shirt. Despite her initial indifference to the situation, she finds herself unable to look away as he begins doing sit-ups and push-ups in the middle of the living room. There's something... captivating about this Nick guy that she can't quite place. It's almost as if watching him work out is somehow arousing?

She coughs into her fist, trying to draw his attention away from whatever he's doing with his body and back toward something resembling conversation or even a simple acknowledgement of her existence. "So... what do you like to do for fun?" she asks hesitantly, not sure if this is the best approach but feeling rather desperate at the moment.

She bites her lip, thinking about how to answer honestly without revealing too much. "I... uh... I like hanging out with friends, going to the beach, that sort of thing." She pauses, watching as he finishes up his workout and lies back down on the floor, wiping sweat from his brow. It occurs to her that they could actually do something together now; maybe it would help ease some of this tension between them. "You want to play a game or something?" she suggests, hoping her offer doesn't sound as lame in her head as it does in her ears right now.

She thinks for a moment, trying to come up with something they could both enjoy without feeling too embarrassed. "How about cards? We can play poker or something?" she offers, hoping he's at least heard of the game before. If not, well... she guesses they'll have to improvise somehow.

She nods and watches as he stands up to go take his shower. As he walks away, she can't help but feel a strange mix of annoyance and... anticipation? It's an unfamiliar feeling, but she decides not to dwell on it too much. Better to focus on the task at hand: playing cards with this Nick guy who for some reason just keeps throwing her off her game.

Her eyes widen as he steps into the bathroom, but she quickly tries to play it cool and turns her attention back toward the living room. It's not like this is the first time she's seen a naked guy... right? But there's just something different about him that makes her heart race a little faster than usual. Maybe it's his confidence, or perhaps it's just the fact that he has such an... impressive package down there? She shakes her head and takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself down as she waits for him to come out of the bathroom so they can play cards like civilized people.

She lets out a loud and uncharacteristic giggle when she sees him step out of the bathroom in just his boxers. Despite her best efforts to ignore it, there's something undeniably attractive about him; tall, toned... And then there's that package in those boxers... Suddenly their entire cohabitation experiment doesn't seem so bad anymore.

Smiling to herself, she spreads out a blanket on the floor and sets up a makeshift card table with some cushions. "Come on, hurry up," she says playfully, trying her best not to stare as he approaches. "I've got five dollars ready for you."

Aoi sits down cross-legged on the floor and motions for him to join her. As they begin playing cards, she can't help but steal glances at his face every so often; there's something genuinely charming about him when he focuses on something intently like this. And then there are those hands... They move with such grace whenever he flips or moves a card around the table...

She winces inwardly as she loses another hand, trying not to let her distraction show too much. Maybe if they could just play a game where they weren't so close together? Something that would give them both more room... and less opportunity for... other things.

She glances up at him, a little surprised by the sudden question. Her heart flutters in her chest as she meets his gaze, and suddenly it's hard to find her voice. "Um... sure?" she manages to croak out, clearing her throat nervously. "What did you want to know?"

She lets out an amused laugh, feeling oddly relaxed around him now that they're no longer arguing. "Oh, I don't know," she says with a shrug, taking another card and studying it closely. "Maybe some of them? It is the end of the year, after all... People get kinda frisky." Her heart skips a beat as she feels his gaze on her again, warm and enveloping.

A part of her mind screams at her to stop being so flirty, but another part enjoys it far too much. It's been a while since anyone has paid this much attention to her... Even if it is just for the cohabitation experiment. Maybe she should just enjoy this time with him, even though she knows deep down that he isn't her type at all... Or so she thinks.

She laughs softly, shaking her head in amusement. "You think so? That's quite the optimistic prediction." She takes another card and looks at it thoughtfully before moving on to another one. The more she talks to him, the easier it feels; like they could sit here all night just talking and not get bored with each other. It's strange...

But then again, stranger things have happened over the course of this year-long cohabitation experiment. And besides, even if he isn't her type per se, there's something about him that draws her in; makes her want to spend time with him despite herself. Maybe this partnership won't be as bad as she thought after all...

She thinks about it for a moment before responding, her cheeks flushing slightly. "Yeah... maybe you're right. Maybe we'll see more of that sort of thing." She takes another card and places it down on the table, feeling warmth spread through her chest as their conversation continues to flow so easily between them now. It's strange how things can change in an instant, isn't it? One moment you're hating someone for being your partner, and then next... well, who knows what might happen?

Her cheeks flush even deeper as she thinks about the possibility of them all getting together like that. It's not that she finds it particularly arousing... well, maybe a little... But still, it feels wrong somehow. They're supposed to be setting an example for others, showing them how to find true love and start a family the proper way. This whole thing with Nick, however, is making her feel things she shouldn't be feeling right now.

And yet... there's something about him that keeps drawing her in. Maybe it's just his confidence or his easy charm, but she can't deny the way her heart skips a beat every time he looks at her. It's enough to make her wonder if maybe this whole cohabitation experiment isn't such a bad idea after all... even if it is with someone like him.
