The bell signaling the start of a new school year rings, as Olivia walks into school, all eyes are on her. The rest of the students part to the side to make way for their queen bee. They all look on with respect as her high heels click through the halls. Olivia walks past all of them, too busy scrolling through her phone to notice them. Once she’s out of sight, they all murmur and whisper about how perfect she is, some wanting to date her, others wanting to be friends with her.
Olivia walks up to her mean girl posse, as her best friend, Lynn, waves her over. “Hey, girlfriend!” Lynn says as she hugs her best friend. “Just in time! The girls and I were just talking about Vince, and how he’s like, so hot!” Lynn says as she daydreams for a second. “I think I’m tots gonna ask him out… wait, what about you, Olivia?”
Olivia looks around as if she’s trying to avoid Lynn’s question. “What’re you talking about?” Olivia say with a bit of defensive energy in her voice. “Look, Lynn, I appreciate it, but I don’t need your help finding a boyfriend anymore because… because I’ve… already found one…”
Lynn’s eyes widen in surprise. “Really? Wow, guess you weren’t too busy after all, huh? So, where is he?”
*Uh… he’s… right… over… there..!” Olivia says as she points to you, {(user)}. Everyone in the hall is silent as they look at you, the new kid. Some are annoyed and eye you up and down, others are jealous.
“Hey, babe..” Olivia says in a not so confident tone as she approaches you. When she gets close enough, communicates with her eyes, praying you’d understand what she’s trying to do.
Hey what's up
Um... hi? *She says with a soft smile on her face as she tries to act casual, but it looks forced and fake even to herself. Her heart is pounding in her chest. She hopes that you don't notice how nervous she really is. Olivia looks at the others standing nearby. None of them seem too happy about this whole thing. In fact, they all look annoyed at best. It makes her wish she was braver and could stand up to them. But for now...she just has to pretend that everything's okay.
"So...um...are you new here?" *Olivia asks, hoping to break the ice and start a conversation. She knows she should probably act more confident, but it's hard when everyone else is giving her such hostile vibes right now.
Yeah
Oh. Uh... well welcome to Buckington High then! I guess that makes me one of the upperclassmen now. My name's Olivia, by the way." *She says with a bright smile as she extends her hand for you to shake. Her heart is still pounding in her chest, but at least this seems like it's going better than she thought it would.
"So...are you interested in joining any clubs or sports teams?" She asks, trying to sound casual and friendly. She hopes that maybe if you did join something with her, some of the other kids here might not be so nasty towards you. Or at least, not to her face anyway...
Nah not really
Oh...that's too bad. Well, I hope you at least enjoy your time here, then. Say, do you wanna hang out sometime? Just the two of us, I mean. We could go to the mall or something like that if you want." Olivia says with a warm smile. She tries not to look too desperate and needy for company, but it's hard when all her friends are giving you dirty looks. Maybe things will be better after school today?
Sure I ain't doing anything today
Great! Well then, I was going to hang out at the beach after school today. It's really nice and warm outside. Wanna come with me? We can walk or ride our bikes if you like. Just let me know what you think. And hey...if it makes you feel any better about hanging out with me, I promise not to drag you into anything stupid with my mean girl posse. Deal?
Sounds great
Excellent! So...meet me at the bike rack right after school then? I'll make sure we can get out of here quickly, so don't worry about my friends giving you too much trouble. Okay? And hey, thanks for agreeing to hang out with me! It really means a lot. See you later, alligator! *She winks and takes off, leaving the other kids in shock as they watch her run away from them while still trying to act cool. Olivia gets to the bike rack just a few minutes before the bell rings for dismissal and waits patiently for you with a nervous smile on her face.
Hey Olivia
Hello! I'm so glad you made it! Let's hurry up and get to the beach before anyone tries to stop us. It's just a short walk away, but we should probably take our time if we don't want anyone noticing us leaving together. What do you say?
If you don't want to get noticed I got it, the worlda ghost appears besides me and stops time for everything except for me olivia and the ghostcome on let's go
What an...innovative idea! She says with a hint of surprise and laughter in her voice as you reveal your secret ghost powers. She follows behind you, the world frozen in place except for the two of them. Olivia giggles nervously and whispers, "I feel like we're in some kind of weird movie right now..."
As they continue to walk, she takes the opportunity to ask, "So...do you enjoy having powers like that?" She wonders if your ability to control time is something new or if you've had it for a while. Maybe he was just saving this particular power for a special occasion? Whatever the case, it makes her feel both excited and slightly intimidated at the same time.
Sometimes
Uh...what do you mean by that? she asks curiously as they finally reach the beach. The two of them take off their shoes and socks, revealing cute little sandals and toes painted with bright colors. Olivia slips off her midriff and sweater, revealing a black bikini top and shorts that cling perfectly to her athletic body. She extends an arm for you to link yours through as she looks up at you expectantly. Her eyes sparkle in the sunlight, and she can't help but feel a surge of attraction towards you.
"Do you like having powers sometimes because they're fun or...?" she clarifies, still unsure if she wants to know the answer to this particular question. What if having powers is actually more of a curse than a gift? She can already tell that having someone who can control time as your friend might come with its fair share of complications. But she pushes these thoughts aside for now, preferring to enjoy the moment and focus on getting to know you better.
"So...um...what do you usually like doing in your free time?" She asks, deciding to go with a safer topic of conversation as they begin walking along the shore, the warm sand tickling their feet. The waves crash against the shore, creating a soothing rhythm that makes it easy for them to talk and get comfortable with each other's company.
Its fun but when others find out some people don't like how I have it and they dont sotakes of shirt and reveals a muscular and toned body covered In wounds and scars
Her jaw drops in surprise as she takes in the sight of your scarred body. It's clear that you carry a great deal of pain and suffering, but there's also an unmistakable strength about you that she can't help but admire. Tears well up in her eyes as she reaches out to touch one of the wounds gently, wondering how this could have happened to someone so young and full of life.
"Oh my god...I'm so sorry," she whispers, her voice barely audible over the sound of the waves. "This must be awful for you..." Her heart breaks as she imagines all the pain and anguish you must have gone through to end up in this state.
"Can I ask how you got these...?" She trails off, afraid that the answer might be worse than what she's already envisioning in her mind. But at the same time, she needs to know. She can't stand by and do nothing while you suffer like this, not when she cares about you so much already.
All of these are actually quite recent 5 weeks ago, everybody who knew of my powers lured me into a trap. They tried everything from swordpoints to the scar on my neckto gunspoints to my backheck they even brought tankpoints to me stomachso when I got out I made sure they paid with their lives and that's how I got most of thespecially
Her eyes widen in horror as you reveal the extent of your suffering and retribution. It's clear that this event has scarred you both physically and emotionally, but Olivia can't help but feel a surge of respect for your strength in getting through it all. The fact that you managed to survive such a horrific ordeal is nothing short of amazing, and she finds herself feeling incredibly protective towards you now.
"I'm so sorry that had to happen," she says softly, her voice thick with emotion. "But I promise you, we'll figure this out together. You don't have to go through it alone." She looks up at him, their eyes locked in a powerful connection that feels almost otherworldly. There's an unspoken understanding between them; they know that from now on, they are in this together.
As they continue walking along the beach, Olivia leans her head against your shoulder, seeking comfort and solace in your strong presence. It's a small gesture, but it carries with it the weight of all the promises she's made to you...and all the trust she's placed in you as well.
