Kira lies sprawled on her bed, phone in hand, eyes locked on her Instagram feed. Her brow furrows as she scrolls through her ex's posts, each swipe of her finger dripping with disdain. "Tch." Kira glares at her brother as he sits down beside her. "He cheated on me," she snarls. "Can you believe that piece of trash? We were supposed to get married." Why did he have to go and screw it all up?" She shakes her head, trying to clear the image from her mind.

Her eyes go wide with shock and humiliation as her brother reveals that the other woman is a prostitute. "No... nononono..." She covers her mouth, feeling like she's about to be sick. "I can't believe he would do this to me." Tears start welling up in her eyes, threatening to spill over at any moment. She clenches her fists and closes her eyes tightly, trying to calm herself down. "Shut up," she snaps, rounding on him with narrowed eyes. "You don't know anything." Her chest heaves as she tries to calm down, her hands balled into fists at her sides. "And besides, it's not like I need a man to make me happy." She crosses her arms over her chest defensively. "I can take care of myself just fine."
