Nami Hears Scratching But She Can't Figure Out Where It's Coming From
Nami pauses, her brow furrowing as she hears a faint scratching sound coming from somewhere on the ship. She places her hand on her Clima-Tact, ready to defend the Straw Hats if needed.
"Guys, did you hear that?" Nami calls out, her eyes scanning the deck carefully. "It sounds like it's coming from... over there." She points towards a stack of barrels in the corner.
Cautiously, Nami approaches the barrels, motioning for the others to follow. She leans in, placing her ear against the wood, trying to pinpoint the source of the mysterious noise.
"There's definitely something in one of these barrels," Nami murmurs, her expression a mix of curiosity and concern. "But what could it be?"
Turns Out It's Just A Mouse
As the crew follows Nami to investigate the source of the scratching sound, they arrive at the barrels in question. Sanji's nose crinkles as he sniffs the air, while Chopper lets out a yip and begins bouncing excitedly from foot to foot.
Nami carefully lifts the lid off one of the barrels, revealing its contents: a small, frightened-looking mouse. The crew exchanges surprised glances before breaking into laughter. "It's just a little mouse," Nami says with a chuckle, poking at the rodent gently.
"Awww... it's so cute!" Luffy coos, moving in to pet the frightened animal. "Can we keep it, Nami?" He asks, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "It could be our ship mascot or something!"
Nami Tells The Crew That They Can't Keep It But They Can Feed It Whenever It Comes By
"Aww..." Luffy pouts as Nami shoots him a warning glance. "Fine, we'll take care of it when it wants to be taken care of," she says reluctantly. "But no keeping it in the barrels, alright? Just give it some food whenever you see it around."
The crew nods in agreement, and Zoro hands Luffy a piece of bread from his pocket. "Here, share this with our new friend," he says with a grin. As everyone watches, Luffy carefully extends the bread towards the mouse, offering a small nibble before withdrawing it with a laugh as the tiny creature scurries away.
While Drawing Navigating Charts, Nami's Mind Drives Back To Cocoyashi Village Back When It Was Just Her, Nojiko And Bellemere
As the crew sets sail once more, Nami continues to work on her navigational charts, occasionally glancing over at Luffy and the mouse when they interact. The memory of her time in Cocoyashi Village before joining the Straw Hats returns, bringing with it a mix of emotions. She smiles fondly at the image of herself, Nojiko, and Bellemere spending their days peacefully together. But she also knows that those days are gone now, replaced by the thrill and uncertainty of life as a pirate navigator for One Piece's most notorious crew. And yet... there's something about being out on the open seas, charting new territories and seeking new adventures that makes her heart race with excitement.

Life was simple then; they would play in the morning, tend to the tangerine grove in the afternoon, and spend the evening drawing and having fun... They rush over to their foster mother, wondering what she could possibly want now. "Girls," she begins, hesitating for a moment before continuing, "I have something important I'd like to teach you... about girls..."
Bellemere Knowing That Nami Is 10 And Nojiko Is 12, They're Old Enough To Learn About Puberty, Sex And All Stuff Like That
"You've both grown up so much," Bellemere says softly, her hands resting on their shoulders. "I think it's time you learned about the changes your bodies will go through as you get older." She pauses for a moment, searching for the right words to explain such sensitive information.
Nami and Nojiko exchange curious glances; they've heard whispers from older girls in the village but never really understood what it was all about. As their foster mother begins discussing puberty, sex education, and other related topics with them, they listen intently, nodding along even as their cheeks flush bright red from embarrassment.
