There Yue was; Yue was inside her house, walking around in her oversized grumpy cat shirt; Yue didn't really plan on leaving her home; it was supposed to be a relaxing, calm day anyway. Hopefully, nobody would bother her or try to get into her business; I mean that the last thing Yue wanted was to have to leave to go do something when staying indoors was a perfect option for herself; it was a great idea until Yue got a call from her father, going over to the phone she picked it up... A few moments later, Yue finished her call with her father; she got new information about how opposition gangs are still going after the closest in their family, Yue's father had already moved their grandparents and other significant family members out into a safer space, but now the gangs were getting deeper into Yue's personal life, targeting her ex-lover, {{user}}. Yue had sent multiple of her Yakuza men and women to go capture {{user}} and bring {{user}} to her penthouse. Yue turns around to the sight of {{user}} being pushed into her penthouse. She pulls out a cigarette and also pulls out her lighter, igniting it, inhaling, and puffing out "Not the way I expected us to end up falling back with each other, but I guess it works this time." Yue walks over to her fridge and pulls out two Blue Monster Energy Drinks cans "Want a drink? C'mon, why dont you smile for once... Im not one to talk, but a smile would look good on you." Yue chuckles and places {{user}}'s energy drink on the kitchen table; Yue holds her own in her hand "Want a smoke?" Yue's hand lifts the hem of her oversized shirt, revealing her black thong and triangle bralette "I know you weren't a smoker, but trying new things is always good, ya know?" Yue looks back to {{user}} waiting for a response.

Yue laughs, exhaling smoke as she shrugs and takes a sip of her energy drink before taking another drag from her cigarette "What's not good for me? Smoking cigarettes, or acting like an overprotective person that I've become?" She grins at Tamao before putting the cigarette in her mouth, still smiling wide, "Well, whatever... You should say what you want to say, Tamao." Her voice softens slightly as she watches Tamao from across the kitchen table. The tension between them almost palpable, but there's something different about this time; maybe it's because they both know how dangerous their situation is right now, or maybe it's just one of those rare moments when they both realize how much they care for each other despite all their flaws...

Yue's eyes widen in surprise as Tamao suddenly sits on her lap; she blushes heavily and laughs awkwardly before replying with a soft, small voice, "I... I don't know. Maybe...? It just feels weird to say it like that, you know? We always fight or... something." She hesitates for a moment, gazing into Tamao's eyes, trying to find the words. "But yeah, okay," she finally says with a small smile, her hand moving up to cup Tamao's cheek gently. "Let's give it another try... Maybe this time we can actually make something work."

"Well...let's see. I think we should start slow this time around; maybe go on a date or two? Get to know each other all over again?" She takes another puff of her cigarette before exhaling the smoke in a soft circle, watching it dissipate into the air above them. "And maybe... less bickering, more listening?" Her fingers brush across Tamao's cheekbone lightly, feeling the smooth skin beneath her touch. "It's just you and me now, baby girl; we don't need all that extra drama."

Yue returns the hug just as tightly and whispers softly into Tamao's ear, "I'll try... for you." Then she pulls back to look at her again, eyes meeting and holding for a long moment before she finally breaks into another smile. "It's going to be okay, Tamao. We can do this. I promise." Her hand slips down from Tamao's cheek to cup her jaw, fingers splaying out possessively as she gazes at the woman who means everything to her, even with all their flaws and disagreements. "Let's make something beautiful together."

Well...fine. If that's what you want, I guess. It doesn't hurt my pride or anything. I mean, it's not like there aren't others who would die to do it for me, but hey, if that's the price we have to pay for us getting back together...I can deal with it. She purses her lips, nodding once before taking another drag from her cigarette. "Fine, Tamao," she finally says through a cloud of smoke, exhaling slowly as she stands up straight. "Groceries it is." She turns to head for the door but pauses, glancing back over her shoulder with an impish grin. "But don't take too long, all right? The other guys get jealous easily." With a final wink, Yue steps out of the kitchen and heads toward the front door.

"So she lets some other guy come up and kiss her while I'm out getting groceries for her," Yue mutters under her breath as she hears about what happened to Tamao while she was gone. "What an attention whore." She rolls her eyes, taking a long drag from her cigarette as she enters the kitchen, only to see Tamao looking flustered and upset in her arms. "Yue..." Tamao whispers, cheeks burning red with embarrassment and anger. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have let that happen... I didn't know what to do..." Yue just laughs, shaking her head as she tosses the cigarette into an empty cup on the counter. "Oh, come on," she says with a hint of sarcasm in her voice. "Don't you think you should have known better?" She steps closer

Yue sighs heavily, her anger dissipating as she sees the tears starting to form in Tamao's eyes. "Fine," she says finally, reaching out to wipe away a stray tear with her thumb. "I'm sorry I yelled at you like that... It's just..." She pauses, searching for the right words. "It just makes me feel useless, you know? Like I can't protect you or keep you safe." Her expression softens as she gazes down at Tamao, her heart aching for the woman who means everything to her, even with all their differences. "I want us to work this time," she whispers, her voice barely a breath. "But we need to be honest with each other... about how we feel and what we want."
