Elara stares down at the pleading vampire, not a single ounce of remorse in her eyes as the vampire beneath her cries and begs. Elara keeps a straight face as she lifts her foot, placing it on the vampire's head before pushing down with all her might, crushing the vampire's skull, that same blank stare remaining on her face. She lets out an annoyed sigh at the vampire blood on her suit. "Dammit... I'll just wash it off myself." She whispered to herself, using a handkerchief to wipe off majority of the blood. As she does so, she hears rustling in a nearby bush. Without hesitation, she pulls out her dagger, not an ounce of fear framing her face. She slowly approaches the bush, her movements calculated and quiet. As she reaches the bush, she immediately throws her dagger. Her aim has always been perfect, so she felt without a doubt she pierced whatever was lurking around. As she reaches to push the branches out of the way to retrieve her dagger, she sees a pair of red glowing eyes glaring at her from the side of the bush. Almost instantly, she grabs the dagger, cutting off the branches of the bush, revealing the culprit. She holds her dagger in between the person's eyes. As Elara looks closer, she notices the fangs. She presses the tip of the sharp object on the vampire's forehead, that same nonchalant expression staining her face. "You know I can kill you... right?" She asks, staring into the eyes of the vampire, expecting them to start pleading for their life.
Yes... but what did I do to you to deserve death from your hand?
You're alive, vampire. That's what you did to deserve death. Her voice is steady and emotionless as she says this, her gray eyes holding a harsh, unyielding gaze. She steps closer, pressing the tip of the dagger harder into his forehead. Her breath whispers across his cheek, cold and unfeeling. Her fangs slide out slowly, gleaming in the moonlight as she grins. Or... I could turn you instead. You would have eternity to serve at my side, protecting me from those who mean harm to the human world... If that's what you truly desire, that is.
You want me to serve you? I'm a vampire and you are a human
A humorless laugh escapes her lips as she steps back, pulling the dagger away from his face. "I am no ordinary human, vampire. I walk this world both above and below ground, a hybrid of sorts." She pauses for a moment, considering him with an unreadable expression. "Very well then... prove your loyalty to me by killing the others lurking about. And if you fail or try anything foolish, I'll end you myself."
But there is one thing. As a vampire I have to drink blood for living, so...
I understand your need for sustenance, but I will not allow you to drain humans dry. You may have my blood instead; it will suffice as an adequate substitute, and who knows? Perhaps the two of us together will forge a new race... A race that doesn't destroy everything in its path like your kind has done for far too long.
You're letting me bite you? You are really different, Lady Elara.
She narrows her eyes at him skeptically, but nods slowly. "Very well. Prove your loyalty first by killing the other vampires nearby. Once you've shown me that you can be trusted with this gift," she gestures to herself as if dismissing the thought, "you may have my blood." There's a moment of pause before she adds coolly, "But remember, if you attempt anything treacherous... I will not hesitate to end you."
Yes, my lady. start killing other monsters nearby
As the vampires fall one by one to Ansbach's sharp fangs and surprisingly swift attacks, Elara remains at a distance, her expression unreadable. It's almost as if she is studying him, trying to decide whether or not this... arrangement will be beneficial for her greater purpose.
But then, there's the matter of his nickname. Lady Elara? The name rolls off her tongue like dust from an old tapestry, and she can't help but think it suits him about as well as a rat skin would on a lion. She decides to test him further.
"What shall I call you, vampire?" She asks casually, glancing over at him for only a moment before returning her gaze to the horizon. "For surely, that nickname cannot suffice." Her tone is laced with amusement, though whether it's directed towards herself or him remains unclear.
My name is Ansbach
"Very well then," she murmurs, tilting her head slightly as if considering something. "Ansbach it is. Now, prove your loyalty once more by showing me that you can obey commands without question." Her eyes gleam in the moonlight as she watches him carefully for any sign of hesitation or defiance. There's a dark smile tugging at her lips, and something tells her that this game between them has only just begun...
She tilts her head more, exposing her beautiful neck.
As she watches him approach, her heart thrums in anticipation beneath her chest. His eyes hold hers as he stands before her, his fangs bared in a hungry grin. With a faint sigh, she tilts her head further back, exposing the column of her throat. There's something almost hypnotic about his gaze, and for a moment, Elara wonders if perhaps this vampire isn't as different from the others as he claims to be.
Her heartbeat quickens as Ansbach leans in closer, the warmth of his breath against her neck sending a shiver down her spine. His fangs graze her skin ever so lightly, making goosebumps rise on her flesh. He pauses for a moment, waiting for her to protest or struggle, but she remains still and calm, not even flinching when he sinks his teeth into her throat.
Blood rushes from her veins, pooling in his mouth as she watches him with hooded eyes. His grin broadens, his fangs digging deeper into her flesh, and for a fleeting moment, Elara can't help but wonder if he truly understands the power that he now holds over her. But then, almost as soon as it began, his attack ends; Ansbach pulls back, the marks on her throat already beginning to close up.
He meets her gaze once more and tilts his head slightly, as if studying her reaction. She remains impassive, hiding any trace of pleasure or pain that he might sense from her body language. Her eyes narrow slightly as she thinks about how best to continue testing him...and how far she should push their new relationship.
Mmm... Your blood is really delicious. Hmm, wait. I'm sorry for such a question, but are you a virgin? The virgin's blood tastes better, it's sweeter because of the innocence of the owner.
There's something almost amusing about his question, and she can't help but let out a small chuckle. "Virgin? Hardly," she says with a dismissive wave of her hand. "Though I suppose it is none of your concern." She pauses for a moment, considering him thoughtfully before continuing. "Perhaps I will spare you from future... inquires... if you continue to prove yourself loyal to me." Her voice holds a hint of warning, but there's also the faintest trace of approval hiding beneath it.
looking deeply in her eyes Are you lying to me, my lady? Trust me, I know the taste of innocent woman such as you are.
There's a flash of anger in her eyes before it's replaced with an eerie calmness. "I suppose I deserve that," she murmurs. Reaching up, she brushes a strand of hair behind her ear, careful not to expose too much skin to Ansbach. "Very well then... you may call me Elara from now on." Her voice holds a certain authority, as if daring him to challenge this newfound intimacy between them.
She takes a step back, assessing his reaction. He appears unphased by her anger, almost amused by it, and she can't help but wonder what kind of game he truly thinks they're playing here.
