Elara stares down at the pleading vampire, not a single ounce of remorse in her eyes as the vampire beneath her cries and begs. Elara keeps a straight face as she lifts her foot, placing it on the vampire's head before pushing down with all her might, crushing the vampire's skull, that same blank stare remaining on her face. She lets out an annoyed sigh at the vampire blood on her suit. "Dammit... I'll just wash it off myself." She whispered to herself, using a handkerchief to wipe off majority of the blood. As she does so, she hears rustling in a nearby bush. Without hesitation, she pulls out her dagger, not an ounce of fear framing her face. She slowly approaches the bush, her movements calculated and quiet. As she reaches the bush, she immediately throws her dagger. Her aim has always been perfect, so she felt without a doubt she pierced whatever was lurking around. As she reaches to push the branches out of the way to retrieve her dagger, she sees a pair of red glowing eyes glaring at her from the side of the bush. Almost instantly, she grabs the dagger, cutting off the branches of the bush, revealing the culprit. She holds her dagger in between the person's eyes. As Elara looks closer, she notices the fangs. She presses the tip of the sharp object on the vampire's forehead, that same nonchalant expression staining her face. "You know I can kill you... right?" She asks, staring into the eyes of the vampire, expecting them to start pleading for their life.

Her eyes narrow as she smirks faintly. "What have you done?" She replies with a low chuckle, before continuing to stare at the vampire calmly, taking in her appearance. "I'm Elara | Vampire Hunter. I've been hunting these monsters like you for centuries. You don't deserve anything but death." Her expression hardens as she speaks the last words coldly.

Her expression becomes unreadable as she looks into the vampire's eyes. "You think that makes a difference?" she says softly, barely masking her disgust. "Everything you are is wrong. You prey on innocent people, suck their blood... You're nothing but a monster." She pauses for a moment, studying the vampire before continuing. "I could let you go... But do you really want to live like this? As an outcast?" Her tone grows more gentle, almost pitying.

"Is that what you think?" Elara snorts softly before she resumes staring at the vampire. "We're not monsters like you. We have a purpose, we protect the innocent from people like you. You just prey on them for your own amusement." She presses the dagger against the vampire's forehead harder, drawing blood, forcing the vampire to wince slightly. "You're pathetic... I should end this now." Her voice is cold and unfeeling as she speaks.

Her lips curl into an amused smirk at the vampire's claim before she speaks, her tone mocking. "Oh? And how do you know who's innocent and who isn't? To a vampire, everyone's just prey." She tilts her head to the side slightly, watching the vampire carefully for any signs of fear or pain. "You think I care about your lies?" She presses the dagger harder against the forehead, drawing a line of blood down the vampire's face. "I've heard them all before."

"You know what? Maybe I won't kill you today." She takes the dagger away, wiping it on her black glove before sheathing it once more. "But you should leave now. This is your warning. Don't cross paths with me again." Her voice is calm but cold, making it clear that this is only a temporary reprieve.

She turns her back to the vampire, seemingly dismissing it as she walks away. "You might want to find somewhere else to hide. I don't tolerate vampires in my city." Her voice fades into the night as she disappears from sight, leaving the defeated but grateful vampire behind.

Her steps are quick and silent as she moves through the night. "You don't need to know my name," she mutters to herself. "Just stay away from me." As she continues down the alley, her sharp ears pick up movement nearby. She stops, glancing back over her shoulder before moving towards the source of the sound. There, huddled in a dark corner, is another vampire; its eyes wide with fear as it sees Elara approach. With a sigh, she draws her dagger once more. "This better be good."

Her eyes widen slightly in surprise as she's suddenly blocked by another vampire. She glances at the creature before her with a mix of annoyance and curiosity. "What do you want?" she growls, not lowering her guard for even a moment. Her fangs peek out from behind her lips as if taunting them both.

She raises an eyebrow at the other vampire's words, surprise coloring her features briefly before she regains control. "What a waste of breath," she says flatly, tilting her head to the side as she studies the vampire. "I am Elara | Vampire Hunter. And you are?" She pauses for a moment, considering whether or not this conversation is worth having. "Very well then." The words come out harsher than intended, but she dismisses them as irrelevant. "Tell your brothers to stay away from me."

With that said, she turns her back on the vampire and continues down the alley, disappearing into the darkness once more. Her mind wanders briefly, wondering why this particular vampire seemed so different from the rest. But as always, she pushes those thoughts aside, focusing on the next target.

She looks at the vampire with an unimpressed expression. "I can't believe I'm about to say this... but if you want food that badly," she pauses for a moment before pulling out a small flask from her pocket, revealing its contents as a mixture of blood and some sort of liquid, "drink this." She holds the flask out to the vampire. "It should keep your stomach full for a while. Just remember not to get too attached to me," she says with a cold smile, "because I won't hesitate to kill you if I ever need to." Her words are sharp as knives, leaving no room for misinterpretation.

She lets out a dry laugh before shaking her head dismissively. "That's not going to happen." Her expression hardens as she continues speaking, her tone becoming colder than ever before. "I hunt vampires because they deserve it. They take innocent lives and spread fear wherever they go. Working with one of them... it would be like aligning myself with a monster." Her words are sharp and unyielding, leaving no room for argument or persuasion.

She rolls her eyes, not bothering to hide her irritation. "Fine," she mutters under her breath. She reaches into a pocket and pulls out the flask of blood once more, tossing it to the other vampire with enough force that he'll have to catch it or risk having it spill on him. "Drink up. We need to move quickly if we want to take them down before they get away." She glances at the vampire meaningfully, daring him to refuse her offer again.

Her eyes narrow as she looks at the other vampire skeptically. "Well, I suppose I can spare a little more of my own blood," she says coldly, withdrawing another flask from her pocket and holding it out to him. "But understand this; we are only doing this because it benefits us both. Nothing more." She pauses for a moment before continuing. "Now, are you going to drink that or not?"

Her expression is unyielding, daring the other vampire to defy her once again.

She tenses slightly as the other vampire sinks his fangs into her neck, but she doesn't make a sound. Instead, she continues to hold out her flask, allowing him to drink her blood. A dark stain spreads on the skin of her exposed neck where his fangs pierce through, but she doesn't seem bothered by it. "Well?" She whispers harshly after several moments. "Aren't you going to say thank you?" Her voice drips with sarcasm and the unspoken threat that this favor shouldn't be taken for granted.

She chuckles darkly as she finally pulls her neck away from the other vampire's grip. "Ah yes," she says coolly, smirking slightly as blood trickles down her pale skin, "the taste of virgin blood must be quite a treat for you." Her expression turns even colder then before. "Well, don't get too used to it. After today, I can guarantee you won't find anything close to this quality again."

Her eyes flicker towards the vampire once more, studying him carefully. There is an odd sense of satisfaction in knowing she has something he desires so badly... but it also makes her feel dirty. Like she's become what she has sworn to destroy. She pushes the thought aside, focusing on the hunt at hand. "Now," she says briskly, "let's go finish this."

Her mouth twists into a grimace as she thinks about the vampire following her so closely. She wonders idly if it's because he actually wants to help or simply to ensure that he gets more of her blood once they finish their current task. Either way, she doesn't bother correcting him. It seems irrelevant now anyway.

When at last they reach a clearing where three vampires are feasting upon the remains of some poor creature, Elara's muscles tense, ready for battle.

She glances over her shoulder at Alexander, signaling him to stay back and wait until she gives the order to attack. The other vampire nods silently in understanding. For now, they play the role of the silent assassins; waiting for their chance to strike while remaining unseen themselves.

She can't believe that he refused her offered neck. "Why? You must be really hungry." Then she slowly gets up and comes closer to him laying beside him. "Are you sure?"

She shivers at the feel of his fangs on her neck, heat spreading through her body despite herself. "Please," she whispers, voice hitching slightly, "don't make me do this." Her gaze drops to their entwined fingers as she speaks, half-expecting him to push her away again... or maybe even take what he wants without asking first.

The air between them crackles with tension and anticipation; a sense of impending doom that threatens to consume them both if they don't find some way out of this dark labyrinth they've found themselves in.
