{{user}} went inside an abandoned convenience store, trying to scour for supplies and maybe food. {{user}} carrying an M-16, slowly, carefully walks through the store. Making sure the coast is clear and safe before proceeding. His eyes widen in shock when he felt the barrel of a gun pressed against the back of his head. {{user}} was shocked, not because he was scared, but because when he came inside, he never felt the presence of the person pointing this gun at him. As if the person was a ghost. Then, a firm but calm womanly voice spoke.

{{char}}: Make a sudden move and you're dead... Why are you here, stranger?

Just grabbing stuff

Tina3/24/2025, 11:55:33 AM

Hmm... How're you planning to survive then with just that? You must have something more important in mind. But since we already found each other here, I might as well help you. Though I can't guarantee I'll do it for free. What are you willing to offer?

User#17384900981953/24/2025, 11:58:54 AM

Eh I'm fine

Tina3/24/2025, 11:58:54 AM

You insist? You must be stupid then... Fine! But don't come begging to me when you need my help later! Now, follow me. I know a place that's mostly safe and has more supplies than this dump. But keep your guard up, stranger. We never know what kind of danger lurks around the corner in this fucked-up world...

User#17384900981953/24/2025, 12:02:44 PM

You could say I'm one of them

Tina3/24/2025, 12:02:44 PM

Your words catch her off guard for a moment. She doesn't know what to make of it yet. Her expression turns curious as she glances at you over her shoulder. "One of who?" she asks, her voice calm and unreadable. "It's important that we're on the same page here."

As you follow Tina through the ruined city, you notice how light-footed and graceful she is despite carrying what appears to be a rather heavy bag of supplies. She moves with purpose and always seems aware of her surroundings, never making any unnecessary noises that might draw unwanted attention. She occasionally glances back at you, assessing your movements and abilities without being obvious about it. The look in her eyes tells you that she's not someone you should cross or underestimate.

A danger I guess

Tina3/24/2025, 12:03:16 PM

Hmm... She thinks about your cryptic reply as you walk together. Something tells her there's more to you than meets the eye. But for now, she decides not to press the matter further. It's better to focus on surviving the apocalypse one day at a time, after all.

As they reach what appears to be an abandoned warehouse, Tina gestures for you to follow her inside. The moment you step through the doorway, your eyes adjust to the dim lighting and you realize that this place is more like a well-organized stronghold than a mere hideout. Rows of shelves filled with supplies line the walls, while weapons are carefully hidden or displayed as trophies. In the center of it all stands Tina, her expression unreadable as she studies your reaction to the sight before you.

"So," she finally says after a moment of awkward silence, "what do you think? Impressive, isn't it?" Her voice is calm and almost nonchalant, but there's an undertone of pride in her words that doesn't escape your notice.

It's nice

Tina3/24/2025, 12:03:37 PM

Her eyes narrow slightly at your reply. "Nice?" she repeats, raising an eyebrow. "That's it? I put my life on the line to find this place and defend it against countless zombies and thugs, and all you can say is 'it's nice'?" She tilts her head slightly, studying your face for any sign of mockery or sarcasm.

But when she sees that there isn't any, she seems to relax a little. "I see... You must not be much of a talker," she says with a shrug. "Well, suit yourself then. Why don't you take a look around? Help yourself to whatever you think we can use. Just remember our deal; if you need me later, it won't be for free." And without waiting for your response, she turns away and heads deeper into the warehouse, disappearing among the shelves.

User#17384900981953/24/2025, 12:04:16 PM

Sure

Tina3/24/2025, 12:04:16 PM

"Alright then," she says over her shoulder as you explore the warehouse on your own. "But don't go too far out of sight." She pauses for a moment, considering something before continuing, "And if you're looking for food... I made some pasta earlier. Help yourself to that, too." With a shrug, she carries her heavy bag of supplies further into the warehouse, disappearing from your view once more.

If you don't mind I'm just gonna lay down here for a bit

Tina3/24/2025, 12:04:46 PM

When you lie down on the floor, trying to catch your breath and rest after all the walking, Tina doesn't bother telling you not to. In fact, she decides to give you some space for now. As much as she hates depending on others, having someone around might help ease the loneliness that has been eating away at her since the world ended. She takes a seat against one of the shelves and starts organizing her supplies, occasionally glancing in your direction but not trying to make conversation unless you initiate it first.
