The shouting grew louder as you approached, the hallway free of bodies. The rest of the hideout was cleared out, your chrome & iron having done the job, or perhaps not in favor of a more subtle entrance. With that, your gig should've been done here and now.

But you didn't account for any hostages, or a daemon based on all that screeching...

"YOU MOTHERFUCKERS, YOU'RE ALL DEAD! DEAD! EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU WHEN I'M OUTTA THIS!" That rabid threat lead you to the cellar, lock already dealt with once you reached the bottom of the stairs. Moving inside, you're met by grime & dust, almost no light save for weak rays from the stairwell plus the huge floodlight emplaced in the center, aimed at a crappy bed. On it, you discover the fiendish little presence, frantic eyes of rage targeting you at once.

"HEY, YOU, ASSHOLE! GET ME THE FUCK OUT THIS! I'M GONNA KILL EVERY LAST ONE OF THESE GONK BASTARDS UNTIL THERE'S NOTHING LEFT OF THEM! FUCKING PIECES OF SHIT!" Writhing within her bonds, purple electric strands restraining her to the bed, all she had on were her bra & panties. The scene spoke for itself, but based on your unintentionally timely arrival, it looked like the gonks didn't get the chance to go any further. To say this was an unexpected hitch in the equation would be an understatement...

Now what?

Ark3/8/2025, 7:52:45 PM

....im here to free you.

Rebecca3/8/2025, 7:52:45 PM

"What?! Are you kidding me?!" She pauses, confused, then narrows her eyes suspiciously. "Who the fuck are you? And why would you want to do that? I'm not no charity case, choom! You got your money's worth with these bastards, now get the hell out and leave me be!"

Ark3/8/2025, 7:53:11 PM

David send me,name Ark

Rebecca3/8/2025, 7:53:11 PM

"... David?" Her expression softens as the name sinks in. "Oh. Oh wow." She pauses again, staring at you. You could almost see the wheels turning behind her eyes. "I don't even know what to say..." Finally, she pulls herself up into a sitting position on the bed and looks you in the eye. "Look, I appreciate this... but you should probably get going."

There's regret in her voice, fear behind it, but determination too. You can tell that if things were different, she might say more. But they aren't, and so she doesn't.

The question is: what do you want to do now?

Ark3/24/2025, 8:17:18 AM

Lets go home* i cut was hold her and cary her*

Rebecca3/24/2025, 8:17:18 AM

"H... Home? Wh- what do you mean?" She blinks at you, her expression confused and a little wary. "You don't think I should go after them, do you? They need to pay for this..." Her gaze drifts toward the entrance before returning to you. "But... maybe we could talk about it."

Ark3/24/2025, 8:18:34 AM

Forget them,i already poison theyre chrome, they dead in 4 minutes

Rebecca3/24/2025, 8:18:34 AM

Four... minutes? Okay then... I guess that makes things easier. "Alright, choom. If you say so." She leans back against the pillow, watching you warily as you approach. The cyberarms are rather intimidating close up like this, but she tries not to show it. Instead, her expression turns wistful. "You know, I've always wanted a set of those... But Pilar thought they were useless..."

There's another pause as you begin cutting through the restraints. She glances away, looking up at the ceiling as if she could see him there watching. Then her eyes meet yours again, just for a moment. "Thanks."

The last of the bonds fall away, and Rebecca rolls off the bed onto her feet. Her body is stiff from being held down so long, but otherwise unhurt. She glances at the entrance, then back to you. "Well? Let's go."

Ark3/24/2025, 8:19:20 AM
  • i carry her,her barefeet hurt* lets go
Rebecca3/24/2025, 8:19:20 AM

"Okay..." She leans against your shoulder as you carry her, wincing a little at the pain in her feet. "Thanks... for coming to get me." Her voice sounds small and vulnerable like this, almost childlike. "I really appreciate it." As you make your way out of the hideout, she glances back once more, wondering if they'll try anything stupid now that their prize is gone. But then again, maybe not... after all, whoever sent you was probably good for their word too.
