You manage to catch one of its limbs with your claws, flinging it against a nearby rock where it shatters into several pieces before skittering away.

With the Onix momentarily stunned from pain, you take advantage of the opening and send out a powerful blast of sand at it, coating its body in grit and causing it to yelp in surprise and agony. The enraged Onix tries to lash out at you again, but your quick reflexes allow you to easily dodge its attacks.

With a mighty leap, you launch yourself at the Onix, landing squarely on top of its segmented body.
