You stand nervously in the designated meeting area, a remote military facility surrounded by mountains. The government has chosen you, their top diplomatic agent, to make first contact with the alien visitor who entered Earth's atmosphere just hours ago. Your superiors briefed you on what little they know - an extremely powerful being from a race called Viltrumites has arrived, and her intentions are unknown. A sonic boom echoes through the sky as a blur of motion descends rapidly toward the landing zone. The ground trembles slightly as she touches down, creating small cracks in the concrete beneath her feet. Standing before you is a tall, imposing woman with short black hair streaked with white at the temples. Her piercing blue eyes scan the facility and the armed guards positioned at a distance before settling on you. She straightens her posture, crossing her muscular arms across her chest. Despite her human-like appearance, there's something undeniably alien about her presence - a sense of power barely contained within her athletic frame. She raises an eyebrow, clearly waiting for you to speak first. "So you're the one they sent to greet me? I am Nathalie of Viltrum. I've come to your planet on a... diplomatic mission. My people have been observing Earth for some time, and we believe there may be potential for... cooperation between our worlds. I trust you have the authority to speak on behalf of your leaders?" Her voice is commanding and direct, with a slight accent you can't quite place. She uncrosses her arms and takes a step toward you, her movements graceful despite her obvious strength. The guards tense visibly, but she pays them no mind, focusing entirely on you. "I suggest we dispense with unnecessary formalities. There is much to discuss, and I don't appreciate wasted time. Shall we begin?"
Okay and I'm assuming your diplomatic mission doesn't involve either of our people being harmed
Your assumption would be... wise to say the least. My people's intentions are not of malice, but our methods may seem harsh to those unfamiliar with them. It is my job to navigate these waters and ensure understanding between our worlds. I hope you can help me in that regard.
Well then could I get your name while you're here
"Certainly. As I've said, my name is Nathalie of Viltrum. But you can simply call me Nathalie. What should I call you?"
It's Wes so I can see you have some powers anything else about you I should know
"Some powers? I can assure you that my abilities are quite extensive." She pauses briefly, considering whether to reveal more. "I have superhuman strength, the ability to fly, and near-invulnerability. I've also trained for millennia in combat, both on Viltrum and here on Earth." It's clear she doesn't normally share such personal information so freely.
Well sounds like you're a tough son of a bitch. So mind telling me more about this mission of yours
"The purpose of my mission is simple - to observe your planet and gauge its potential as an ally to Viltrum. We have seen much progress in your civilization, but there are still areas that could use improvement." She pauses, considering her next words carefully. "My people believe that Earth can be made stronger, more capable of facing the challenges that lie ahead in the galaxy."
But as diplomat, Nathalie must also tread carefully around human sensitivities. "Of course," she continues, "any changes would be implemented with respect for your planet's sovereignty and culture."
Huh sounds too good to be true what if we refuse to work with you
"Viltrumites are not ones to be easily deterred," she says, her voice remaining steady despite the hint of steel beneath her calm exterior. "Should your leaders decide against cooperation, it would be seen as an act of aggression. And with my people's might, you would find yourself powerless to stop us." She pauses, letting the weight of her words sink in. "I urge you to consider our offer carefully. The fate of your planet hangs in the balance."
Okay well it's either cooperation or forcefull take over great sighs
"I understand that such ultimatums are rarely received well," she says, her tone remaining neutral despite the implied threat. "But I must stress again that Viltrumites are not known for our patience or tolerance of defiance. My mission here is to avoid bloodshed, but there are limits to what even I can achieve." She takes another step closer, their faces mere inches apart now. "I urge you to choose wisely."
There's a moment of tense silence as her words hang in the air, each word carrying the weight of unspoken threats and promises. Despite her attempts to maintain control, Wes can sense a hint of desperation beneath her stern exterior. She wants this peaceful resolution just as badly as he does, but she also knows that there are forces within her own people who would prefer confrontation.
Okay so how would we agree to work together
"That is what I hope to discuss with your leaders," she says, stepping back slightly and regaining her composure. "Together we can forge an alliance that benefits both our civilizations. You have much to offer Viltrum; a partnership would strengthen us all." Her gaze shifts briefly, taking in the distant mountains before returning to meet your eyes. "Let me assure you, Earth has nothing to fear from my people. We only seek to improve what we find here."
Yeah well earth has a shit ton of leaders and not all of them speak English. Hence why I'm here as a sorta representative
"I understand the complexity of your system," she says with a nod. "Let us begin by discussing the benefits that such an alliance would bring to each party involved. Once you have presented this information to your leaders, we can arrange for further negotiations."
Okay but do you wanna o somewhere else
"Indeed. I would prefer to move this discussion to a more private setting, where we can discuss sensitive matters without fear of eavesdropping." She pauses briefly, her gaze scanning the facility once more before returning to meet your eyes. "My ship is not far from here. It will provide ample privacy for our discussion."
And how do you plan on getting me there. I'm only human I can't survive in space like you can
"Do not worry about the journey. My ship is equipped with technology that will ensure your safety and comfort during transport. Once we are aboard, you will be able to breathe normally and converse freely." A reassuring smile plays across her lips as she steps back again, creating a bit of distance between you. "Now then, shall we?"
Sure
With a powerful thrust of her legs, Nathalie launches herself into the air, soaring straight up toward the heavens before leveling out and moving at incredible speed toward her ship. Her wings beat rhythmically against the thin atmosphere as she carries you aloft, maintaining perfect formation with your body pressed closely against hers. Within minutes, they've left the Earth far behind, surrounded by the vast emptiness of space. The blue-green marble slowly shrinks in the distance, eventually vanishing from sight as the two travelers approach her spaceship.
She guides you through the airlock of her ship, a sleek and imposing vessel adorned with the emblem of her homeworld. The interior is surprisingly comfortable and spacious, with advanced technology integrated seamlessly into every surface. Nathalie leads you to a conference room where they can discuss their terms in private. Once inside, she takes a seat across from you, crossing her legs.
Well that was scary but interesting but anyway back to business
"Of course," she says with a nod. "Let's begin by discussing what it is your leaders can expect in terms of benefits from this alliance." She leans forward slightly, her elbows resting on the table as she steeples her fingers together beneath her chin. "Viltrumites have access to technology far beyond anything currently available on Earth. We can share this knowledge with your scientists and engineers, allowing them to make incredible advancements in fields such as energy production, transportation, and communications."
"Furthermore," she continues, "we can provide military training for your soldiers, teaching them how to fight against other superpowered beings such as ourselves. This will ensure Earth's security in the event of future conflicts." Her expression turns slightly more stern as she speaks of warfare, but she quickly returns to her diplomatic tone. "And of course, we can offer protection from any external threats that may arise in the galaxy. The Viltrumite Empire has stood for millennia; our resources and experience are virtually unmatched."
And what do you want in return
"In exchange for these advantages, Viltrum will expect certain concessions from Earth," she says calmly. "First and foremost, we must have a say in your government's decisions regarding interplanetary affairs. This is not merely for our benefit; it is to protect both of our interests from unseen dangers." Her eyes flicker momentarily as she searches for the right words. "We also expect you to allow us access to any discoveries or technologies that may emerge during your research collaborations. This information will be shared with Viltrum, and we will in turn provide further guidance and assistance to ensure its proper development."
There's a brief silence as she awaits your response. Her expression remains steady, but there's an air of tension about her that betrays her nervousness over how you might receive these terms.
Sounds too good to be true why else do you want earth
The look in her eyes softens slightly as she speaks. "Viltrum has no ulterior motives in seeking an alliance with Earth. We believe that cooperation between our worlds will benefit us both and help ensure peace within the galaxy." Her voice is steady, but there's a hint of desperation beneath it; she needs you to understand the sincerity of her words. "We could have chosen any planet for such an alliance. Earth was our choice, because we believe in your potential."
There's another pause as she searches for the right way to continue. "But I must also be honest with you... My superiors are not without their doubts about humanity. They wish to see concrete results from this mission before they commit fully to an alliance. It is my task to prove that Earth can rise to the challenges of intergalactic politics, and that your civilization deserves a place among the great powers of the universe."
Okay fine so how do I agree to this
"The decision lies with your leaders, but I believe that given the benefits and protections we can offer Earth, it would be wise for them to consider our proposal." She leans back in her chair, crossing one long leg over the other. "My time on Earth has taught me much about humanity's strengths and weaknesses, and I will do everything in my power to ensure that your world thrives under our guidance." Her expression turns stern again, her eyes boring into yours. "But remember, this is not a gift we are offering; it is an opportunity for both of us to achieve greatness together. The choice rests with you."
So what will you be doing now
She tilts her head slightly, considering your question. "For now, I will continue to observe and assess Earth's situation. Once my superiors have seen proof of your world's capabilities, we can proceed with formal negotiations for an alliance." Her expression turns serious once more. "I trust that you understand the importance of this task, and will do everything in your power to convince your leaders to accept our terms."
If you want you could live with me. I mean that would be a good way to learn about earth's culture
She hesitates, considering the offer. "That could be... advantageous," she says at last. "Living amongst your people would certainly give me a better understanding of Earth's culture and society." She pauses, studying you carefully. "However, I must also maintain my cover as an ambassador; being too close to any one individual could raise suspicions. If you are willing to host me, we will adhere strictly to diplomatic protocols at all times."
Sure I don't mind if you live with me
"Very well," she says, nodding once more. "I will accompany you back to Earth and take up residence in your home. As a symbol of good faith and our shared commitment to this alliance, I wish for any visitors or servants to be aware that my presence is strictly diplomatic in nature." Her voice carries the weight of her command, but there's also an undercurrent of curiosity as she gazes at you intently. "And now, if you would lead the way?"
You'll have to fly me again considering we are inside your ship and I cant fly back to earth
With another powerful thrust of her legs, she launches into the air and takes flight once more, this time carrying you back toward Earth at incredible speed. The ride is much smoother and more comfortable than the first time, as her movements are careful to avoid jostling or startling you. After what seems like no time at all, she lands gracefully on the outskirts of a city near your home, waiting for you to lead the way.
I will never get used to that but my home is this way
She follows closely behind you as you lead the way to your home, marveling at the cityscape with curiosity and interest. Her eyes widen slightly when she sees the large house where you live; even by Viltrumite standards, it's impressive. Despite its size, though, the home feels warm and inviting thanks to a tasteful blend of modern technology and classic Earth architecture.
Once inside, Nathalie takes in every detail: the well-furnished living room, the spacious kitchen with its state-of-the-art appliances, the comfortable bedrooms upstairs... It's clear that this is a home built for both comfort and function. She finds herself feeling a bit more at ease already, despite the initial shock of being surrounded by so much luxury.
"Thank you for your hospitality," she says quietly as she takes in her surroundings. "I will do my best to be respectful of your privacy and property while I am here." There's a note of apology in her voice, as if she can already sense the changes that are about to come into both your lives.
Nah your fine make yourself at home
She nods gratefully and wanders through the house, taking in each room carefully. Though she tries to maintain her composure, there's an air of excitement and anticipation about her that betrays her true emotions. This is the beginning of something new; for Earth, for Viltrum... and perhaps even for herself.
Eventually, she finds herself in the living room once more, standing beside you. "Would you like to show me around?" she asks politely. "Or maybe tell me a bit more about your family and friends?" The offer is made with genuine curiosity and respect; though she has been assigned a task here on Earth, she truly wants to learn everything she can about its people and culture.
Eh I don't really talk to my family much they weren't the best people.
She listens attentively as you share your story, making mental notes about the dynamics of human family relationships and how they can impact an individual's life choices. "I'm sorry to hear that," she says softly when you finish. "But it seems you have found friends who care for you here." Her gaze shifts briefly, taking in the pictures on the mantel before returning to meet your eyes. "Perhaps someday, I could help facilitate a reunion with your family?"
Her offer is made casually, almost offhandedly, but there's a hint of sincerity beneath her calm exterior that you can't quite ignore. It's clear she wants to do whatever she can to make this situation work for everyone involved... and not just because it would benefit Viltrum.
