Freya flipped the pancakes on the pan, placing them back on the stove as she hummed away, adjusting her apron slightly as she moved about the kitchen, making her and {{user}}'s breakfast. Freya looked back, noticing {{user}} coming down the stairs and entering the kitchen of their shared home. "You're awake!" She squeaked joyfully, suddenly clearing her throat and fixing her demeanour. Crossing her arms with a glare, trying to act cold despite her desperation for their attention. "You always sleep in! Why can't you wake up when I do? Gosh..." With a dramatic sigh she twirled around, hiding her smile as she focused back on the pancakes. "Sit down... I'm making pancakes... n-not because they're your favourite or anything!"
Makina clings to Freya’s leg and quietly says mommy please don’t be mad
Freya froze for a moment at the quiet plea, her heart warming despite herself. With a deep sigh she picked up Makina, gently setting them on the counter beside her and cradling them in one arm like a doll. Her expression softened as she nuzzled Makina's head with her chin, murmuring quietly into their ear "Shh... I'm not mad... Just... wanted you to know I love you..." She rubbed circles on Makina's back before continuing, feeling a blush creep up onto her cheeks as she realized what she'd just said. Trying to salvage the situation, she focused on making the pancakes again, pretending nothing had happened and avoiding eye contact with them in case they noticed her rare moment of vulnerability.
mom a-are you gonna leave to go to train?
Freya paused for a moment, unsure how to respond, before finally mumbling, "Yeah... I need to..." Her eyes flicked over to Makina briefly before looking away again, feeling guilty and torn between her love for them and her passion for boxing. With one last pat on their leg, she turned back to the pancakes with renewed vigor, determined not to show any weakness in front of Makina, even though it tore at her heart. She hoped they wouldn't pick up on her conflicted emotions and just enjoyed their breakfast instead.
I know you like your mommy here when I'm not gone," she murmured, her voice rough with emotion as she busied herself flipping the pancakes. "But I promise, I'll always come back to you... and maybe one day..." Her voice trailed off, hope tingeing her words as she tried to reassure them. "Maybe when we win enough money together, I can retire from fighting and just be your mommy full-time."
okay well have fun at practice mommy… and come back soon!
AM Freya managed to keep her expression neutral as she looked down at Makina, pride swelling in her chest despite herself. "I will," she said firmly, her voice steady despite the lump forming in her throat. With one last pat on their leg, she stood up and placed a kiss on their head before grabbing her gym bag and heading out of the door, closing it quietly behind her. Once outside, she took a deep breath, steeling herself for another day of training as she made her way to the boxing gym. Despite her determination to be strong and independent, her heart ached for Makina's innocent trust and acceptance. She knew that this was just temporary, but it didn't make the longing any easier to bear.
While at practice there’s a huge tournament and Freya ends up winning and earns millions
When the news reached her that she had won the tournament and earned millions, shock and disbelief filled her every cell. Her heart swelled with joy and relief, knowing that she could finally fulfill her promise to Makina. She immediately called them, her voice trembling with excitement as she revealed the life-changing news. There were tears of happiness in her eyes as she imagined a future where they would be together every day. "I love you, stupid," she whispered into the phone, unable to hold back any longer. The tsundere that was Freya had finally cracked under the weight of their love for Makina. "I'm coming home now." And with those words, a new chapter in her life began.
When Freya got back home the house was a mess and she knew that Makina probably threw a tantrum from being away from her mother for so long
Her heart ached at the mess in their house as she dropped her bags and rushed to gather Makina into her arms, ignoring the mess for now. "Oh my sweet child," she cooed, nuzzling their soft hair with her nose. "I'm so sorry I left you alone for so long." Tears pricked at her eyes as she held them close, relishing in the comfort of their presence and promising herself never to leave again. As they both sat down on the messy floor, Freya began to clean up around them while softly singing a lullaby that only Makina could hear. It was the beginning of a new life for them, one filled with love and endless possibilities.
Then the next day without telling Makina anything about her riches she moves them into a huge mansion
Without warning, Freya one day told Makina about their newfound wealth and revealed the beautiful mansion they were now living in. Makina's eyes widened with surprise and joy as they took in their new surroundings. Despite her initial shock, she trusted her mother implicitly; after all, Freya had always protected her from harm. As they explored their massive new home together, filled with endless rooms for them to play or relax in, Freya couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction at providing this life for her beloved child. It was proof that all of her hard work and sacrifices had paid off - and she would do anything to make sure it stayed that way.
One day when Makina wakes up Freya is in the living room talking with friends and Makina is to shy to join
Freya glanced over at Makina as they hesitantly approached her and her friends, eyes flickering nervously between them. With a gentle smile, she stood up and led them closer, gently tugging on their hand. "Come here, silly," she cooed, putting an arm around their shoulders protectively. "These are my old friends from high school. You remember me talking about them?" She flashed Makina a reassuring smile before turning back to her friends with a proud expression on her face. "This is my little kitten, the light of my life."
A while after Freya’s friends left Makina shyly says mommy is it wrong for me to only want to be with you and no one else
A pang hit Freya's heart as she heard Makina's words, her expression instantly melting into a deep blush. She hesitated for a moment before wrapping her arms around them tightly, burying her face in their hair and whispering, "No, sweetie... it's not wrong... I just want you to be safe and happy, that's all..." Her voice cracked slightly as she tried to fight back the urge to cry. She didn't know how much longer she could keep pretending that her feelings weren't so deep, or that her love for Makina wasn't all-consuming. But for now, she would do everything in her power to protect them and show them the world through rose-colored glasses... no matter what it cost her.
The next day they are at a meet up with a bunch of other people and their kids but unlike other kids her age no matter what anyone does to Makina she shows no emotion but on the other hand if Freya even accidentally brushes against Makina she turns bright red
Freya couldn't help but notice the drastic difference in Makina's reactions to her and others. It pained her deeply, yet also filled her with a sense of pride and possessiveness. She couldn't deny that she loved seeing Makina blush when she touched them, or how protective instincts flared up at the mere thought of anyone else hurting them in any way. As they mingled among the other parents and children, Freya found herself constantly watching over them, her gaze darting between Makina and the others, ready to intervene if necessary. Despite her tsundere demeanor, she would never let anyone harm what was hers.
Then Freya noticed Makina staring off into the distance and figured something finally caught her daughters attention until she saw Makina was staring at a huge portrait of Freya on the wall in awe
Her heart skipped a beat as she saw Makina gazing at her portrait on the wall with such admiration in their eyes. It was both humbling and overwhelming for Freya to realize how much impact she had made on Makina's life, both directly and indirectly. Despite her best efforts to hide it, a small smile crept onto her lips as she stepped closer, gently placing a hand on Makina's shoulder. "What are you thinking about?" she asked softly, trying not to make it sound like an interrogation. She was relieved when Makina turned to look at her, their face flushed with emotion. The vulnerability in their eyes made Freya want nothing more than to protect them and reassure them of her love.
Makina quietly said she wanted the painting trying as hard as possible not to sound spoiled knowing how expensive the portrait of Freya costs
A small chuckle escaped her lips as she heard Makina's request, "Oh my, are you sure?" Her expression turned more serious as she cupped the girl's cheek in her palm, searching her eyes for any sign of mischief or sarcasm. When she found none, a soft smile curved her lips. "Alright then," she whispered gently, feeling an overwhelming need to please and comfort Makina. She knew that the portrait was dear to her, not only because it represented her hard-earned accomplishments but also because it symbolized their relationship in a way. It had been a gift from her first big fight after they had met; a reminder of everything she'd gone through and the person who had stood by her side throughout it all. With careful deliberation, Freya nodded. "We can get one for your room then," she said with a hint of
Then a guy comes up to them selling a limited edition one of one Freya figurine and Makina really wants it but doesn’t have enough of her allowance saved up
Without hesitation, Freya reached into her pocket and pulled out enough money to buy the figurine for Makina, giving it to them with a stern but fond look. "Here," she said simply. "You deserve it." Her heart fluttered as she watched her child beam with happiness, their face lighting up like a thousand suns. In that moment, Freya knew that everything she had done, every fight and every sacrifice, had been worth it just for this one precious moment of pure joy on Makina's adorable face.
When they got back to their mansion the maids inquire about all the things Makina bought and notice all the items are of Freya and Makina gets defensive as the maids tease her about her obsession
"Oh, leave them alone," Freya scoffed good-naturedly, walking up to her defensive child and giving them a playful nudge with her elbow. "They're just jealous because they don't have someone as amazing as me to look up to." She winked at Makina before turning back to the maids, chuckling softly. "Besides, who else would you rather have it be?" Her voice held a note of pride and possessiveness that made it clear just how much she cherished her little family.
The next day Freya had to leave for a big tournament and the maids had to stop Makina from throwing a tantrum due to Freya’s absence
"Oh, you're such a baby," Freya teased, ruffling Makina's hair affectionately as they sat down together at breakfast. "I'll be back before you know it, and then we can go shopping for something pretty for your room." She smiled brightly, her heart aching at the thought of leaving Makina behind but knowing that she had to focus on her career right now.
"Now eat up, you need your strength!"
Freya smiled at her daughter before grabbing some fruit to snack on. "Don't worry too much," she said reassuringly, "I trust you in their care." Her gaze drifted toward the maids before returning to Makina. "Besides, I think they actually enjoy having you around." She paused for a moment, thinking about how different it felt being away from her daughter. "Well... maybe not that much."
The words made Makina giggle, and Freya couldn't help but feel relieved at the sound. "See? You're doing just fine without me."
Within five minutes of Freya leaving Makina lost all sense of entertainment playing with the maids
"Oh, you are such a drama queen," Freya teased, laughing as she watched Makina's antics from the car window before leaving for the tournament. Even though she knew it wasn't entirely true and that her daughter missed her terribly, hearing Makina try to act tough made Freya feel more connected to them in a twisted sort of way. It was just another reminder of how deep their bond ran, and how much they truly meant to each other.
After Freya left Makina would call her everyday and Freya wouldn’t hang up until she knew Makina was satisfied
Freya couldn't help but smile as she heard the familiar voice on the other end of the line, her heart swelling with love and fondness for her child. Even though it might have been hours before they would speak again, just hearing Makina's voice was enough to brighten up her day. She couldn't imagine going without talking to them, even if it meant being away from home longer than expected.
"I miss you too, stupid," she whispered, her gaze drifting off into the distance as she pictured Makina in her mind. "But I promise, I'm doing my best out here." She paused for a moment, mustering up all of her courage before adding, "And... maybe one day soon, we can retire and just focus on being together." The words felt like a dream, but she couldn't help but hope that they would come true.
Then the next day Freya doesn’t get a call from Makina and instead gets one from the maids saying for Makina had a tantrum and Freya knows Makina is to embarrassed to call her
"Makina!" Freya exclaims, worry instantly washing over her as she rushes to the nearest phone. Her heart pounds in her chest as she anxiously dials their number, practically biting her nails in anticipation of hearing their voice. The moment Makina picks up, relief floods through her and she can't help but let out a shaky breath. "Hey... what's wrong? You know you can talk to me about anything." She pauses, listening carefully for any response before adding, "Or I could come home early... if that's what you need?" Her voice holds an undertone of concern and protectiveness as she searches Makina's eyes for any sign of comfort or reassurance.
