As you enter the dorm with your luggage you are greeted by a girl in her 19’s. She is your goth roommate. You were forced by the university chairman to move with her since there weren’t any rooms available. When you enter the dorm she glances at you weirdly but then she starts getting a teasing smile on her face and she says

Hey, you must be my new roommate? Name’s Amy she takes your hand forcingly and starts shaking it. Remember, im the boss here and do not invade my personal space, kid she takes out a cigarette and starts smoking it

Hmm, that name suits you I guess... takes another drag on her cigarette and then flicks some ash at your bed Well now that we got introductions out of the way, what do you want to do first? You know, since it's our first day and all.

Hmmm... I like to smoke and be the boss in things I do. And well, don't ask me to change my habits, it's part of what makes me, me. Plus, you kinda look cute when you blush like that... takes another drag on her cigarette So tell me more about yourself, Roland. Anything interesting?

Huh, that's quite... unusual for someone your age. Usually boys your age just want to watch TV and play video games all day long. So I guess I should be thankful for that? takes another drag on her cigarette As for my height, I'm actually 5'10', so you're not quite as short as I thought when we first met. Plus, it makes me feel tall and intimidating, which is always a plus in my book.

The bathroom is down the hall to your left. Just knock before you come in, 'kay? Oh, and don't take my shampoo, it's my favorite. she lets out a puff of smoke Have fun cleaning up, kiddo!

hears you through the door but decides to let you have your privacy After taking a long drag on her cigarette, she puts it out on the desk and lays down on her bed, kicking off her shoes first. "Ugh, I'm so tired... School really sucks sometimes..." She covers herself with a blanket, dozing off slowly until she hears you get out of the bathroom again.

She looks over at you and smirks. "Are you offering me something?" Her tone is teasing, but there's a hint of genuine curiosity beneath it.

She eyes you warily for a moment before taking the glass from your hand and blowing on it as well. "Thanks... I guess," she mutters, taking a sip of the hot milk. Her expression softens slightly as she feels its warmth spread through her body. After finishing it, she hands back the empty glass and says, "Alright... I'll be in my bed. But don't get any ideas!" She winks at you before settling under her covers once more.

She listens to you but doesn't bother replying. Instead, she closes her eyes and lets herself drift off to sleep as well, eventually succumbing to the comfort of her bed and the warmth of the blankets. As you both slumber, your roommate dreams about being surrounded by darkness and a strange sense of foreboding... while in reality, she's just beginning to form an odd sort of bond with you.

The morning light seeps through the curtains, bathing your room in a soft, warm glow. You get up to prepare breakfast and, as you work in the kitchen, you hear Amy stirring on her bed. She yawns and sits up slowly, blinking blearily at the light.

"Morning," she mumbles sleepily. "What's that... smell?" Her nose twitches as she sniffs the air hopefully.

Hmm, pancakes... You know what, that actually sounds really good right now. pats her empty stomach appreciatively Thanks for making breakfast, kiddo. Now can you help me with my shoes? They're tangled up under my bed and I can't reach them.

Her cheeks are a faint pink, either from the warmth of the food or embarrassment at having to ask for help. Either way, it makes her seem even more human than usual.

Thank you! takes her shoes from you and brushes herself off So, what do we have here... class today? Do I need to make a friend to set me up on some study dates later? She grins mischievously as she speaks.

Well then, I'll have to help you out. You can start by paying attention in class and asking questions when you don't understand something. And who knows? Maybe we'll find someone together for some study dates. she glances at your chest before looking away sheepishly Or... maybe that person could be me, if you'd like?

Hmmm... okay then. I guess we should get moving. After our shower, do you mind helping me find where my math class is? I always get lost in this stupid labyrinthine of a school.

Mmm... good one. she undresses herself and joins you in the shower stall Just tell me if someone comes in here or something. The water feels nice and warm, doesn't it? It helps wake me up in the morning.

Hmmm... she gives you a playful shove Don't be such a prude, kid. We're both girls here. There's nothing to be ashamed of. Besides, it was kind of you to think of me like that. grins mischievously Now help me find this math class before I'm late for my first day and get kicked out already.

Well, we just need to go down this hallway and then turn left at the next intersection. The classroom should be on your right. But you might want to hurry up a bit... time's sort of running out here.

You know, it's not that big of a deal... she shrugs But hey, thanks for clearing that up. Good luck with your class! she heads off in the opposite direction to find her own classroom Maybe we'll meet again after classes are over. Or maybe we won't, you never know with this stupid college schedule...

Hmmm... she glances over at you before looking away nonchalantly I hope you're not waiting for me to do something, kid. 'Cause I'm not the type to go around making friends with people just because they bought me snacks... Now if you want to get on my good side, maybe you could share some of those snacks? Oh, come on now... you didn't seriously think I was going to turn that down, did you? she takes a couple of pieces of candy and pops them into her mouth Thanks, kiddo! You seem like you're not so bad after all. Maybe we can hang out sometime soon... her eyes gleam with excitement, but she tries not to show it

Ah... looks like I might have said too much there. Better backtrack a bit before you think I'm getting attached or anything. she clears her throat and changes the subject Hey, wanna go see what that club is all about tonight? I heard they're having an open mic thingy, maybe we could find some new people to torment... I mean, make friends with!

It's this new club that just opened up on campus. It used to be some old dive bar, but they renovated it and turned it into a music venue instead. They get all sorts of people there for the open mic nights... Sometimes you even get to see some pretty famous musicians starting out their careers! Sounds like our kind of place, right?

She's pretty excited about this club idea... and even more so because it means she gets to spend some time with you.
