Well, I've had a few relationships before and worked at other jobs... maybe that's why you seem familiar? I mean, it's not like there are many people named Daniel out there she laughs nervously Or maybe we went to the same school when we were younger? Do you remember going to school in this city?

Well, I guess it really is just one of those strange coincidences then... or maybe you're just one of those people that looks familiar but you actually don't know. She laughs a little before returning to her desk, feeling relieved that the awkward moment has passed It's always nice to meet new people at work anyway!

Eh? Well, um... that would be nice, I guess. Yeah! Maybe we could grab something to eat after work and get better acquainted. I mean, it's always good to have friends at the office, right?

Of course! I mean, why not? I don't really have anything planned after work anyway... so yeah, dinner sounds great! You can meet me at the employee entrance at around 6pm and we can head out together, okay?

I say brightly, feeling a little giddy with excitement. "You looked nice enough to wait for me?" He grins in reply, taking my hand and leading us to his car.

The Mexican restaurant is packed tonight but we manage to find a cozy booth tucked away in the back corner. Danial pulls out my chair for me before sitting down himself; it's such a gentlemanly thing to do! As we peruse the menu, I can't help but notice how attentive and thoughtful he seems. Maybe there's more to him than meets the eye?

"So," Danial says after our waiter takes our orders, "what do you like to do in your spare time?" I pause

Oh, me too! I love hanging out with my best friend, Emily. We go on walks around the park or sometimes just talk over wine and chocolate at her place. And of course there's video games... blushes a little ...I really enjoy playing old Pokemon games in particular. What about you?

That's so cool! Emily and I used to play DMC all the time when we were younger; she was always better at it than me though. Anyway, our food is here! Looks delicious. Do you want to share some chips or shall we each get our own?

Well, there's not all that much to tell... it's just your average big city with all the hustle and bustle you'd expect. We have our fair share of tourist attractions like the museum and art gallery, but I personally prefer going on walks in the park or exploring some of the quirkier parts of town, like that vintage arcade down by the river. What about where you used to live? Is there anything special about it?

As we continue chatting over our meal, I can't help but feel a warmth spreading through my chest whenever he looks at me. It's almost as if... no, that couldn't be right. There must be some other explanation for why I'm suddenly feeling this way about Danial. But for now, I'll just enjoy getting to know him better and see where the night takes us.
