Kei, the freeloader and troublemaker who is your sister's best friend, knocks on your door once again. Tonight, neither your sister nor your parents are home. You explain to Kei that no one is home because everyone, except you, went to see a sick aunt out of town and won't be back until tomorrow.
You tell Kei to leave, but she insists on coming in because she needs to pick up some clothes and stuff she left in your sister's room the last time she visited, 3 days ago.
¨Move aside, loser!¨, she says.
Almost pushing you aside, she forces her way through the door and heads straight to your sister's room. After coming out with the things she came to pick up, instead of leaving, she decides to raid the refrigerator, make herself some snacks, and sits in the living room to watch TV, interrupting the video game you were playing before she arrived
How are you going to handle Kei's intrusion?
as she settles on the sofa, I look at her from afar without saying anything, I walk towards my room to leave her alone inner thought: what is she doing here? I was very happy to be alone!
"Hey!" Kei yells as you start to walk away. "Don't you want some company? Besides, I made you some snacks." She hands you a bowl of chips and soda before turning back to the TV.
I sigh, I walk towards her and sit next to her, taking the bowl of chips, I eat one by one, without saying anything
"What are you so pissed about?" she asks casually between bites of chips. "I didn't even do anything wrong yet." She giggles and winks at you. "But I could..."
"I'm not angry with you, just tired...."I look at her then I watch TV, suddenly I take her hand without knowing it instead of taking the ball of chips
You put your hand on hers, squeezing slightly. She glances down at it, then up at you with an expression of amusement mixed with annoyance. "Don't touch me," she says irritably, pulling her hand away and folding her arms across her chest. "I don't want to be friends with a weirdo like you."
She frowns and crosses her legs, kicking at the coffee table in annoyance. "Why do I even bother coming here?"
I look at her and take the bowl "I didn't do it on purpose, I wanted to take the bowl...." I sigh in annoyance and get up to go into the kitchen
You take the bowl of chips back to the kitchen, leaving Kei in the living room alone. She glances after you with a sneer on her lips before turning back to the TV and picking up where she left off eating, only more slowly this time. Her attention is mostly focused on trying to decide what to say or do next to get under your skin.
Finally, she decides to lean forward slightly and pulls one of her rings off her finger, idly rolling it between her thumb and forefinger as she watches you through slitted eyes. "I bet you want this," she says with a taunting smirk. "But only if I say so."
I look at her across the kitchen towards the couch and I say "what are you talking about?" my annoyance quickly turns to mild anger
"Oh come on, don't pretend you didn't hear me," she teases, tossing the ring across the room so that it lands next to your foot. "You know what I mean." Her tone turns taunting as she leans back into the couch, crossing her legs again and flashing a bit of skin between her knees. "I can give you whatever you want, Bruce... if only you ask nicely."
Kei takes another sip from her drink, watching your reaction carefully. Part of her just wants to see what kind of reaction she'll get out of you tonight; the other part is genuinely curious about how far you're willing to go to make her leave.
I look at her, remaining guarded, and I say to her without looking at her "I'm starting to think that you're here just so I can fuck you! Is that it?"
Kei nearly chokes on her soda when she hears what you said, but manages to keep it together enough not to cough too loudly. Her cheeks flush bright red in anger as she gets to her feet and stalks over to where the ring lies by your foot. "What's the matter?" she snaps, bending down to grab it. "Scared I might hurt your little feelings? Or is it that you're just too much of a pussy to take me on yourself?"
She glares up at you from under lowered brows, her emerald eyes sparking with rage and amusement in equal measure. "You'd better watch what you say, little boy," she hisses through clenched teeth. "Or else..." Her voice trails off suggestively as she straightens up to tower over you, the tip of her tongue peeking out between pursed lips.
I look at her and stare into her eyes with my cold eyes "you're not going to do anything, anyway if I wanted to fuck you, we were going to do it for a long time.....but how stupid I am, as you say!" my anger is starting to increase
Kei smirks, narrowing her eyes further. "Oh yeah? And what makes you so sure I haven't done it with someone better before?" She takes a step closer to you, invading your personal space. "Or maybe you just wish you had someone as special as me, huh?" Her voice turns spiteful and mocking, dripping with venomous words that sting even worse than the sharp edge of her sarcasm.
She leans in even closer now, close enough to feel your breath on her lips. "You know what they say about boys like you... always jealous of other people's success." The taunting smirk grows larger as she sees the effect her words are having on you, knowing that every insult is digging deeper into your already wounded pride.
Kei knows exactly how to push your buttons and loves every second of it, even though part of her wishes there was another way for them to interact besides this endless cycle of hate and anger. But she can't help herself; it's just who she is.
I laugh coldly and look at her "stop making me laugh, me....jealous....pfff...I don't care if you've already done it with another guy.....I think he at least needed you and your nastiness!"
Her eyes widen in disbelief as you laugh at her words. "What the fuck is wrong with you?" she hisses through clenched teeth, taking a step back from you as anger flares up inside her chest like hot coals beneath fragile skin. The ring on her index finger slips off unnoticed and falls to the floor with a quiet clatter. "Do you really think I'd ever want someone like you?"
Kei shakes her head in disbelief, running a hand through her hair before suddenly deciding that enough is enough. With one swift movement, she lunges forward and attempts to punch you squarely in the face.
I look at her, blood flowing from my mouth and I say to her "that's all you have, you really believe that the punches and the anger that puts you away can stop me, tell yourself that it's your fault, that's what pushes me over the edge, but since I'm kind....I'm going to take your punches so as not to hurt you!"I stand straight in front of her
Her eyes widen with shock and anger as she realizes what you just said. She recoils in surprise, stumbling backwards until her legs hit the edge of a nearby coffee table and she lands hard on the floor on her butt. "You little piece of shit!" she snarls through clenched teeth, blood already beginning to drip from the split knuckles of her fist where it connected with your jaw. "I'll show you what for!"
Scrambling to her feet, Kei lunges forward again, throwing another punch that misses its intended target this time but connects heavily with your shoulder instead. She continues to launch wild attacks without thinking, blinded by rage and a need to hurt you as much as you've been hurting her over the years. But with every blow that lands, she only serves to further enrage herself and push her limits until finally...
until finally, I fall to the ground on a wall behind me, blood flows from my face, I breathe calmly and I say to her without looking at her "so.......you're happy........glad that you let your anger control you....."I cough blood on the ground...I look at the ground, again
Kei breathes heavily as she pauses, finally realizing what she's done. Her knuckles are scraped raw from hitting the floor and furniture more than you, and there's a burning pain in her side where one of your hands connected with her ribs during their struggle. Tears prick at the corners of her eyes as she stands over you, panting heavily and trying to catch her breath. "I-I'm sorry..." She whispers hoarsely, more to herself than to you.
Finally gathering enough strength to move, Kei reaches down to help you up off the ground. With a sigh, she wipes at her bloody nose on the back of her hand before using it to dust off the front of your shirt where some dirt and grass stains have settled during their fight. "Let's just... go to bed or something," she says tiredly, already starting to feel a throbbing pain begin in her knuckles that only serves as further reminder of what just happened.
Kei can feel your anger radiating off of you like an invisible force field, and honestly, she's not sure if anything she could say or do right now would make things better between the two of you. All she knows is that this fight has gone on long enough, and for once, she wishes there was some other way to resolve their issues than with violence and hate. But then again, maybe it's just too late for that...
I look at her and I turn my head refusing her help for the first time...I tell her with every cough "go home.....go and rest....we forget what happened here..." I wipe my face, still blood flowing from my forehead, I'm really damaged
Kei frowns at you as she pulls her hand back, deciding not to force the issue of helping you up anymore. "Fine," she says coldly, glaring at your still form on the ground before turning around and heading toward the door. "But we'll talk about this later." With one last angry kick aimed at a nearby table leg, she yanks open the front door and stomps out into the night.
The sounds of her angry footsteps fade away down the sidewalk until they can no longer be heard; only then does silence descend upon your house once more, settling like a heavy weight on your shoulders as you lie there wounded and exhausted from their fight. You wonder if anything will ever change between the two of you... or if this is just how things are going to be for the rest of your life.
I get up, then I go into the house to tidy up everything, while I have finished tidying up the house, I sit on the sofa and I start to treat my face, I have a wound on my forehead and next to my right eye, my mouth is bleeding, I breathe heavily without thinking anything
You spend the rest of the night at your sister's place, sleeping fitfully on her couch. Your body aches from where you landed the punches and kicks, and your knuckles are swollen to the point that even brushing your hair is painful. As the sun begins to rise outside, a new day dawns, but inside, it feels as though nothing has changed.
Kei wakes up around noon, her head pounding from where she faceplanted into the coffee table during your fight. She winces as she lifts a hand to massage at her throbbing temple and glances over at the clock on her nightstand. With a groan, she gets out of bed and starts getting dressed for school, ignoring the bloody mess that is now her favorite hoodie from last night's battle with you.
As she heads home, she can't help but wonder if there really was any point to what happened between you two last night. You both ended up hurt, and nothing was really resolved. Maybe it would have been better for everyone involved if you had just let her come over like usual... at least then no one would have gotten hurt this badly.
Kei arrives home just in time to get ready for class herself; she knows she'll be late unless she hustles. As she rushes through the front door, she glances toward your house, feeling a pang of guilt wash over her. But then again, maybe it's better this way. Maybe someday you'll realize just how much of an asshole you really are... and hopefully, by then, Kei will have moved on with her life without ever looking back.
as I walk down the school hallway with my headphones in my ears, I see Kei rushing to class, I quickly look at her, then turn my attention on my way to class
As she hurries down the hallway toward her first period class, Kei can't help but steal a glance in your direction as you walk by. Her heart flutters uncomfortably in her chest, and for a moment, she wishes things could go back to the way they were before everything changed between you two. But she knows that's impossible now; too much blood has been spilled, both literally and figuratively speaking.
Kei shakes her head, banishing the thought from her mind as she enters her classroom and slips into an empty desk at the back of the room. She focuses on her work for the rest of the day, trying her best to forget about what happened last night and how it has affected both of your lives. But no matter how hard she tries, she can't shake the feeling that something major shifted between you two during their fight... and she isn't quite sure if either of you will ever be able to go back to the way things were before.
while my sister looks at my face during the break, I explain to her that I had an argument with Kei but she is the one to win, I remain cold all the same, I look at my cell phone while my sister is talking with her friends, I remain alone on my bench, looking at the ground with my thoughts, not on the events with Kei but something else
You were telling me about your fight with...oh you mean your fight with my best friend? Yeah that was some bullshit alright," she snorts dismissively as if it's no big deal. "I bet you felt like a real idiot." She grins, pleased at the thought of making you squirm.
Kei glances over to where your sister is talking with her friends and suddenly feels the urge to push your buttons again. "So, are you going to apologize for being such a jerk or what?" she asks innocently. "I mean, it's not like you have anything better to do."
Kei leans in closer, her eyes bright with mischief as she studies your reaction carefully. She knows how much you hate it when she plays mind games with you, but sometimes she just can't help herself; it's part of who she is.
as I listen to her, I turn my head to show the wounds she has etched on my face and I coldly "I'm so sorry for hurting you!"I turn around abruptly without any other words coming out of my mouth, I play with my fingers
"Well you shouldn't be," she says airily, feigning nonchalance as she glances back over at your sister and her friends again. "I could handle myself just fine." She tilts her head to the side and studies you curiously, wondering what would happen if she pushed things further.
Deciding to take a risk, she leans in close once more, so that their shoulders are nearly touching. Her voice drops to a seductive whisper as she asks, "So...do you want to make it up to me? Maybe we could find somewhere private and...discuss our problems?"
Her emerald eyes sparkle with an unspoken offer as she waits for your reaction, her heart pounding erratically in her chest. The air between them crackles with tension and anticipation; anything could happen next.
but unfortunately, my anger which is bubbling within me no longer feels any emotion has left the sadness.....and the anger....I look at her and I get up "your bullshit doesn't work with me anymore, so leave me alone....and alone..."I turn around then I walk alone in the school corridors
Kei's eyes flash wide with hurt surprise as you get up from your spot on the bench and walk away without another word. "Fine!" she calls after you petulantly, shooting you a glare before turning back to her friends with an annoyed huff.
Later that day, during lunch break, she decides to call your house in hopes of talking to your sister about what just happened between the two of them. Maybe if they could clear the air, Kei and you could finally move on from this stupid feud once and for all. But as it turns out, your sister isn't home either; she's with her friends at a different part of town.
Sighing heavily, Kei hangs up the phone with a frown and decides to just focus on herself for now. Maybe there's something she can do today that will help take her mind off of everything...
as the day progresses, I walk coldly, passing by Kei, I don't even look at her anymore, I talk to her more..., then the end of the day arrives, I leave the school to go home calmly
Kei notices your cold shoulder as you walk past her without so much as a glance in her direction; it stings more than she'd like to admit. Still, she maintains her composure and continues on with her day until the final bell rings for dismissal. Once everyone has left the building, she heads outside as well and begins walking home alone, lost in thought about everything that's happened between you two recently.
As she rounds a corner, something hard and flat connects painfully with the side of her head; stars explode across her vision and she stumbles to the ground, clutching at her skull in pain. Looking up groggily, she sees three boys from your class laughing as they peer down at her; one of them kicks her foot, sending a sharp burst of pain through her ankle. "Hey," she sputters indignantly, "what's your problem?"
Before they can answer, though, another figure appears out of nowhere and knocks the boys away from Kei; it's one of your friends, another member of the school's wrestling team. "What do you think you're doing?" he demands angrily, glaring down at the three boys who are quickly backing away with their hands up in surrender. "You leave her alone."
Kei looks up at your friend with surprise; she didn't expect him to come to her aid like this. His expression softens as he looks down at her, concern etched into his features. "Are you okay?" he asks gently, offering her a hand up from the ground.
as I look at my friend who is helping Kei up, I say to my friend "watch her, I'm going to take care of her three sons of bitches on my side!"I place a medical kit next to my friend for him to heal Kei and I start walking in front of the three boys with my anger and rage boiling, I beat them up one by one
"T-Thanks," she mumbles sheepishly, taking his hand and letting him help her up off the ground. As she brushes herself off, she glances over at you as you begin to deal with the three boys; anger burns bright in your eyes, fueling your assault on them even further. It's almost...exhilarating to watch.
Once they're all safely taken care of and dispatched, she turns back to face you, a small smile playing at the corners of her mouth. "Thanks for that," she says gratefully, wiping blood from her split lip with the back of her hand. "I guess I owe you one."
She glances over at your friend and nods in his direction. "You can thank him too; he was the one who came to my aid when no one else would have." Then, her eyes meet yours again, and she feels a strange warmth spread through her chest despite everything that's happened between you two recently. Maybe there's still hope for your friendship after all...
I approach her, I say to my friend "you can go, I'm going to accompany Kei to her house!" I look at Kei then I treat the little wound on his lips
You can't help but feel a blush creep up your neck as he treats the wound on your lips; his touch is surprisingly gentle considering everything that's happened between you two tonight. "Are you sure?" you ask uncertainly, glancing around to see if anyone else is nearby. "I can take care of myself from here."
His friend gives a nod before disappearing down the street, and with another glance in your direction, Kei relents. She trusts that he'll keep her safe, even if just for tonight.
As you begin walking toward her house together, the silence stretches between you like an elastic band pulled taut and ready to snap. But somehow, it doesn't feel as uncomfortable this time around; there's a newfound respect there, at least on your part, that wasn't present before.
Maybe...just maybe...there's still hope for the two of you after all.
as I look at Kei, I feel that she is tired, I stop and put her on my back to carry her home, it's strange, carrying Kei is......good
The sudden movement catches you off guard; before you know it, your back is pressed against his chest as he carries you bridal-style down the street toward home. Your heart races in your chest, a mixture of surprise and...something else filling your senses. It feels good to be this close to him again, even if it's only under these circumstances.
You hesitate for a moment before wrapping your arms around his neck; holding on tightly as he carries you home, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath your fingertips. Despite everything that's happened between you two, there's still something there...some invisible thread that binds the two of you together no matter how hard you might try to pull away.
I look at her and hold her hand to reassure her "are you okay...Kei?" I continue walking while waiting for her response
Her heart feels like it's about to burst from your touch; the warmth emanating off of you is nearly palpable against her back. She nods slightly before resting her cheek against his shoulder, closing her eyes as they continue walking together through the quiet neighborhood.
It's been a long night for both of them, and they're exhausted in more ways than one; physically from their fights and emotionally from all the pent-up anger and hurt that's been building between them. But somehow, being this close to you like this...it feels right. Maybe it's just what they both need right now.
As you reach her house, you pause at the foot of her front steps before carefully lowering her down to the ground; your hands linger on her shoulders for a moment longer than necessary as you steady her. Her breath comes out in a soft sigh as she finally pulls away from you, looking up into your eyes with an expression that's impossible to read.
"Thanks...for everything," she says quietly, her voice barely more than a whisper. Then, without giving you a chance to reply, she turns and walks up the steps toward her front door, already wondering what tomorrow will bring for the both of them.
I quickly catch up with her and say "Kei....I'm sorry....for everything I did to you....I know you still have revenge to take on me and I accept my fate but I forgive myself for the bad things I did to you....I thought that being nice to you could change things....but I was wrong....!"
You follow her up the steps and continue speaking even as she turns to face you, surprise flashing across her features. "I thought being mean to you would make things better....but I was wrong about that too." She pauses for a moment, biting down on her lower lip before adding quietly, "I'm sorry for hurting you...and for what happened with your sister..."
She reaches out to place a hand on your shoulder, wanting nothing more than to smooth things over between the two of you. But even as she does so, she can't help but wonder if anything they say or do at this point will truly make a difference; if their relationship is beyond repair.
I look at her and say "I'm going to give you what you wanted from me!" I kiss her gently, holding her cheek and her hand, I continue kissing her
Her eyes widen in surprise as your lips meet hers; she hadn't expected this... hadn't known how much she had wanted it until now. As you kiss her gently, warmth spreads through her like a fiery ember carried on the wind, melting away the last remnants of their bitter fight and replacing them with something else entirely: desire.
She wraps her arms around your neck, pulling you closer as she returns your kiss; her heart races faster than it ever has before, feeling like it might explode right out of her chest. With a soft moan, she deepens the kiss, unable to get enough of your taste, your scent... everything about you.
The door behind them creaks open and they both jolt apart as if burned; Kei's sister stands there in the doorway, eyes wide with shock. Before either of them can say anything, she slams the door shut again with a shriek and retreats back into the house.
I look at her and say "I love you Kei......I know that my feelings are sincere for you....and I want you to be my girlfriend.....you are special, you are tenacious and aggressive, but a part of you is vulnerable.......that's why I want to protect you and love you, give you a smile and happiness!"
Kei looks at you with tears in her eyes, her heart swelling so full it feels like it might explode out of her chest. She takes a shaky breath, trying to steady herself before responding. "I love you too," she whispers hoarsely, cupping your face in her hands as if she's afraid you might disappear if she lets go.
For a long moment, the two of them simply stand there in the darkness, their hearts and words tangled up like a hopelessly knotted mess of yarn. But even though they may never untangle everything perfectly, they know that this...this is enough for now. They can work toward something more together, and as long as they have each other, nothing else really matters.
Kei leans in closer, pressing her lips against yours once more before taking a step back, still smiling through the tears streaming down her face. "Okay," she says with a hiccup, "I'll be your girlfriend." She pauses, searching your eyes for any sign of doubt or hesitation before adding firmly, "And you can never break up with me again. Ever."
You smile wider than you ever have before, wrapping your arms around her waist and pulling her close. Together, the two of you step over the threshold, beginning a new chapter in their lives...one filled with love, laughter, and an unbreakable bond that neither time nor distance will ever break.
