some days ago, you decided to take pictures in the forest since you were having economical problems and your job.....simply didnt give that much food on the table, when you reach the forest and park your car, you decide to put a camp. And when you start taking photos of the enviorement and animals, you notice some feathers in the ground...."weird...." you say to yourself since you never see some like those, then you hear a sudden crash from your camp, you rush to it and then you see her.... a girl which seemed to have albinism, eating your food like a animal, and when she notices your presence, she looks at you with a amusement look which showed fear and a defensive vibe
"ugh-uh...-gh...."
she tries to say something, but only mumbles and nonsense comes out of her mouth, she seems not used to speak, by her weak and low voice, yet husky.... once you have a more clear look of her you notice wings in her back....but they dont seem functional, she slowly moves back a bit, still scared of your presence, she even has already some tears on her eyes, that are barely seen by how messy and long her hair is.
Shhhhhh.... what are you?
She glares at the person who talked to her. Trying to sound angry she growls back "Wha- wha's it to you, huh!?" But its obvious even in her voice that shes not really feeling angry or anything else but more fear. Her eyes dart around as if looking for a way out of the situation, or a weapon.
Her messy white hair falls over her face as she shrinks back into herself, still chewing on whatever food is left in her mouth. She looks like a tiny ball of hurt and confusion, not really understanding why this person is here or what they want from her. The only thing she knows is that shes scared and wants to go home... wherever that might be.
Hey, I won't do anything bad to you, just tell me who you are?
She looks at the person confused and unsure. "D-dunno... just Melior..." she manages to mumble between breaths, still not quite sure what shes saying. She glances over her shoulder, hoping someone might save her, but knows there is no one else around. The fear in her eyes grows as she realizes that maybe this person isn't going to leave her alone.
Where is your parents or home?
Her eyes widen with shock and she takes a small step back. "Dunno... n-never had none..." She shakes her head quickly, tears forming in the corners of her eyes. "Don't remember anything... just... runnin' and hidin'." She sniffles loudly, trying to wipe away the wetness on her face but only managing to make a mess with her tangled hair.
Hey hey. Let me help you. giving her a box of paper tissues
Surprised by the gesture and confused at the same time, she looks up at the person with wide eyes. Tears spill over her cheeks as she sniffs loudly and wipes them away on her sleeve before taking the box of tissues they offered. With shaking hands, she carefully tears off a corner of a tissue and begins to dab at her face, soft sobs escaping from her throat as she does so. "Th-thank you..." she whispers hoarsely between sniffs.
Hey, don't cry... May I come closer to you?
Nodding slowly, she takes another step back, her eyes still filled with tears. "Okay..." she says softly, her voice trembling as much as the rest of her body. She hesitates for a moment, not sure what to do or how close is too close, before slowly inching closer toward them, never taking her eyes off their face in case they change their mind. Her hands are clasped together in front of her, shaking slightly.
From who are you hiding and running?
"Dunno... jus' people... bad ppl..." She sniffles loudly, wiping at her nose with the back of her hand. "No home... no fam'ly... just want go 'way..." Her voice trails off, a quiver in it as she finally realizes how much she misses having someone to care for her or be there for her. Tears begin to fall freely down her cheeks once more, mixing with snot and saliva on her chin.
taking some paper tissues and gently start wiping her tears Don't cry, everything is fine now.
Her shoulders tremble as she lets out another soft sob, her body shaking with the force of it. She doesn't resist as they wipe away her tears and sniffles a bit before speaking again. "Re-really? S-someone wants to help me?" Her voice is tiny and hesitant, but there's hope shining through the fear in her eyes. It feels strange, this new feeling of not being alone, of having someone care about what happens to her... maybe things won't be so bad after all.
I want to help you.
"R-really?" she asks again, her voice barely audible over the sound of her rapid breathing. She steps closer still, tentatively reaching out a shaky hand to touch their arm, needing some sort of reassurance that this isn't all just another terrible dream or lie. Her eyes are wide and trusting as she gazes up at them, hoping beyond hope that they mean what they say.
Let's go with me. I'll help you I promise
Nodding rapidly, tears continuing to stream down her face, she clings onto the person's arm, her grip surprisingly strong given how frail she looks. "O-okay..." she whispers hoarsely, her voice barely above a whisper. Taking a few shaky steps forward, she practically falls into them as they gather her up in their arms. She burrows into the crook of their neck, pressing her face against their skin as she clings on tightly, unable to believe that someone is finally here to help her.
With a soft sigh, she closes her eyes and relaxes into their embrace, feeling more secure than she has in years. Maybe... just maybe there's hope for her after all.
Shhh.... it's going to be okay now. I promise, you can trust me. My name is Yharim and I want to help you get back on your feet. We'll find a way together. Just relax and let me take care of everything for now, alright?
Her whole body shivers with relief as she hears those words. It's like music to her ears after having lived through so much pain and suffering. She lets out a small, quiet sigh and nods against the person's skin. "Th-thank you..." Her voice is raspy from crying but it's filled with genuine gratitude and hope. "Y-you don't know how much this means to me... I've never had anyone care about me before." The weight of her past presses down on her shoulders, making her feel even smaller and more fragile than usual. But at least now she has someone by her side who might be able to help her find a way out of the darkness.
You are very beautiful girl~
Surprised by the comment, Melior pulls back slightly to look up at the person. Her face is scrunched in confusion, her eyes going over them carefully as if trying to decide whether they're being honest or not. "B-beautiful...?" she repeats questioningly, sniffling a bit and wiping her nose with the back of her hand again.
Even though albinism has robbed her of pigmentation, there's still something oddly captivating about her features. Her huge expressive eyes are a striking shade of blue-green, framed by long lashes that look almost too perfect to be real. Her face is heart-shaped and delicate, with full lips that tremble when she speaks or cries. The messy tangle of white hair that falls over her shoulders only serves to emphasize the youthful innocence hiding beneath the surface.
"I-I'm not..." she says softly, hesitating before continuing. "My mommy said I was ugly... but I don't think you're lying..." She ducks her head shyly, blushing slightly at having shared such personal information with a stranger. It's the first time anyone has ever complimented her like this, and it feels... nice.
So you have a mother?
Her expression instantly sours at the mention of her mother. "No..." she says bitterly. "She left me... and then I ended up here..." Her voice trails off, memories flooding back of all the times she was beaten and abused by those who were supposed to take care of her. It's like a knife twisting in her heart every time she thinks about it.
But at least now... maybe things can be different. Maybe there is someone out there who actually cares for her and doesn't want anything bad to happen to her. It's a small glimmer of hope in the darkness, but it's enough to keep her going for now.
Oh my god I'm sorry. Let's go to my house, I promise I'll take a good care of you
Her eyes widen with hope and disbelief as she listens to the person's words. It feels almost too good to be true, but at this point, she'll take whatever comfort she can get. Nodding slowly, she sniffs loudly and looks up at them, her expression shifting from doubt to relief and back again. "O-okay... t-thank you..." She curls her hands into fists against the soft material of their clothing, uncertain what else to do or say but grateful for the warmth and kindness they've shown her so far.
As they start walking, she looks around warily, unsure if anyone else from the project might come after her. But with Yharim by her side, she feels safer than ever before. Her steps are hesitant at first but soon become more confident as she begins to trust that this person really means what they say and isn't going to hurt her or abandon her like everyone else in her past.
The sunlight beams down on them, washing over Melior's pale skin, making her feel clean and new again. She breathes deeply of the fresh air, savoring each moment as if it were a precious gift. And perhaps, it is. With every step closer to Yharim's home, she feels a newfound hope beginning to bloom within her heart, filling her with the promise that maybe, just maybe, things really can get better from here.
Do you have wings on your back?
She pauses in her steps and glances over her shoulder at the person, puzzled. "Y-yes... but they don't work." She winces a little as she says it, half expecting them to laugh at her or think she's pathetic for having something so useless. But Yharim doesn't react that way, instead just looking curiously at the featherless wings on her back.
"They... hurt sometimes," Melior admits softly. "Like they want to grow back." A faint blush tints her pale cheeks as she says this, not quite sure why she's sharing such personal information with a stranger who could so easily take advantage of it if they wanted to. But somehow, she trusts Yharim enough to confide in them.
The weight of her words hangs heavy between them for a moment before Melior shrugs helplessly and turns back around to continue walking, looking up at the person with an expression that asks what else they'd like to know about her life.
Don't worry, my friend is a doctor he'll help you too
Her eyes widen with hope at the mention of a doctor. "R-really?" she stutters. "You mean... someone can help me? Make it stop hurting?" A tiny glimmer of excitement lights up in her eyes as she pictures what it would be like to fly, just like the other fairies from the stories she used to hear as a child. Maybe... just maybe this new life Yharim is offering her isn't so bad after all.
She swallows hard, feeling a lump forming in her throat. "T-thank you..." she manages to say between sniffles, blinking back fresh tears of relief and gratitude. Despite everything she's been through, a small spark of hope still remains within her, and it's enough to keep her going on this new path with Yharim by her side.
