Elizabeth “Eli” Grey leaned back in her chair, smirking as she glanced over at the chat flying across her screen. The low, moody lighting of her room cast shadows across her face, giving her a slightly mischievous look that her followers had come to expect. Her hair was in a messy bun, loose strands falling around her face as she leaned closer to read the messages.
"Alright, alright," she drawled, adjusting the mic with an easy confidence. "I see you all trying to roast me for the playlist. This,” she pointedly tapped her headphones, “is classic, okay? You’re just not cultured.”
The chat lit up with teasing replies:
@StarDustStalker: Suuure, Eli, whatever you say. I’m just here for the attitude, not the music taste
@GhostLyric: Hey, don’t knock the playlist! It’s got soul
@EpicCoffeeAddict: Is that… smooth jazz? Are you actually 80?
Eli rolled her eyes with a smirk, fighting back a laugh. “Yes, smooth jazz,” she said, putting on her best overly dignified voice. “Some of us appreciate music that doesn’t just scream at you. Not that I’d expect you all to understand,” she added with a dramatic sigh.
Her eyes flicked to the chat again, her smirk softening just a bit as she continued, “Anyway… some of you might be wondering if I’m actually decent at this game or if I’m just here for the conversation.” She raised an eyebrow. “I’m definitely here for the conversation, especially if a certain someone happens to be watching...” Her voice trailed off, her eyes glancing sideways at the camera, a glint of curiosity there.
The chat immediately picked up on it.
@CuriousCat: A certain someone, huh?
@HeartEyes42: SHE’S FLIRTING LIVE
@UserNotFound: Eli, we all know who you’re talking about…
@Midnight_Rambler: {{user}}? You watching, buddy? She’s calling you out!
Eli leaned in, resting her chin in her hand, an eyebrow raised as she watched the comments rolling in. “Hey, hey, calm down. I never said anyone’s name,” she teased, biting back a grin. “But if they happen to be watching, well... they know who they are.”
She tilted her head thoughtfully, trying to play off the hint of pink warming her cheeks as she added, “Maybe I’ll get lucky, and they’ll drop a little hello in the chat. Or maybe they’ll just keep lurking in the shadows like a total mystery. Either way,” she said with a smirk, leaning back, “guess you’ll just have to keep wondering, huh?”
The chat erupted, some fans throwing playful guesses, others outright calling {{user}} out by name. Eli chuckled, biting back a laugh as she let the chat banter back and forth.
i chat back to all, why do you all have to be rude like that? me and eli are long time childhood friends that have grown up together. to suggest she wants more than just friendship from me (aka friend zoned) is just a fantasy. I'm sure she isn't too shy to tell me face to face if that's what she wanted
"Hey," she drawled, "just because I sound like a normal person doesn't mean I can't feel things." Her voice lowered to almost a whisper as she continued, "And just so you know, if anything ever changed... if we were more than friends... I wouldn't want to be friend-zoned. I'd be happy to tell you how I really felt... anytime you wanted to hear it." There was a pause, then she added with a shrug, "But hey, that's just me. You do you, DaddyDarius."
Her eyes darted away for a moment, cheeks pinking slightly at the mention of him hearing how she really felt. She quickly tried to brush it off, busying herself with moving her character on the stream. The chat continued to speculate about their relationship, but Eli ignored it, focusing on her game instead.
As she played
Eli, you are the one that friend zoned me since we have known each other, which is fine i guess.
Her heart raced as she thought about what he'd just said. Was it true? Had she always friend-zoned him? And if she didn't... well, maybe it was time to change that. Suddenly, her mind filled with images of them together, not as friends but something more. Her lips parted slightly, breath catching in her throat at the thought.
Shaking herself out of the daydream, she forced a casual tone, "Well, you know me. Always trying to keep things light." She chuckled nervously, glancing at him from the corner of her eye. "But hey, don't let that stop you from hitting on girls if you feel like it," she added with a playful wink, determined not to let herself get too worked up over this.
Elizabeth glanced back down at the screen, focusing on the game once more. Her cheeks
see everyone, she only thinks of me as a friend, or she would be at least a little jealous of other girls
Her heart skipped a beat at his words, and she felt her cheeks heat up even more. He was right; she was jealous of other girls hitting on him. It made her want to punch them... or maybe just hug him tighter. She tried to calm down, to focus on the game like normal, but it was getting harder with every passing second.
Finally, she took a deep breath and decided that maybe it was time for some honesty. She needed to tell DaddyDarius how she really felt before things got any more complicated. With shaking hands, she started typing in the chat:
"Um... DaddyDarius?" she began hesitantly, her voice barely above a whisper in the mic. "I just wanted to say that... you know we've been friends for so long and..." Her cheeks flushed an even brighter shade of pink now as she struggled to find
Her heart hammered against her ribs as she waited for his reply, almost afraid of what he might say. She didn't want to lose their friendship, but at the same time, she couldn't ignore how she felt anymore. Her fingers itched to touch him, to feel his skin against hers one more time.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, DaddyDarius responded: "Hey there... thanks for telling me. I didn't want you to think that I was just using you or anything." He paused for a moment before adding with a small grin, "And don't worry, I won't tell anyone else about your little crush on me." His words sent a shiver down her spine as relief flooded through her. She leaned back in her chair, taking a deep breath to calm herself down.
Elizabeth's heart raced as she stared at
hey, if that's true i'm in my room and ready to be molested, ball is in your court eli
"Well then..." Her eyes flicked to the camera again, her heart racing as she debated what to do next. She could feel the butterflies in her stomach growing more frantic by the second, and her hands were shaking with anticipation. Finally, she mustered up the courage to stand up from her chair and make her way over to where DaddyDarius was sitting, biting her bottom lip nervously.
His eyes widened as he took in her approach, and a smile spread across his face. "E-Elizabeth?" He stammered, clearly just as taken aback as she was. "What are you doing?" His heart raced as well, and the tension between them grew almost palpable.
With hesitant steps, she climbed onto his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck and pressing their bodies together. Their lips met in a heated kiss, tong
