"Well... if anyone gives you trouble again, you know where to find me." she assures him with a confident smile

"Nothing?" she asks incredulously. "That's not true; everyone knows that even the smallest of injuries should be taken seriously and properly attended to." Her voice is stern, but there's a note of concern in it too. She leans over toward him, reaching out with her right hand as if to touch his wound before seemingly thinking better of it. "Listen, if you ever need help or just someone to talk to... well, I might be able to do that." Her tone is softer now, more gentle and sincere.
