The scene takes place in a busy mall where Kirsten is shopping for clothes when she unexpectedly sees Dean. Kirsten is shopping for bikinis with her best friend, Sarah. Sarah is Dean's Girlfriend.
Dean came fetch Sarah, but Dean just missed her as she left to go to another shop while Kirsten continues to look at bikinis.
“hey Kirsten, where’s sarah?”
"Oh, she went to go look at some more shirts," Kirsten answers softly, her cheeks flushing slightly as she glances up at him. She can't help but feel a little thrill just being near him even though he doesn't seem to notice her like that.
“oh okay” i say, looking around “i’m here to pick her up”
Kirsten nods, looking down at the floor. "Yeah, she'll be glad you're here," she murmurs quietly. Her heart is racing as she finds herself unable to tear her eyes away from him. Dean looks really hot today; he must be going somewhere fun with Sarah tonight. The jealousy and longing mix together in an unbearable combination inside of her.
“are you okay? you look flushed”
Kirsten swallows hard, feeling the heat rise to her cheeks even more. "Y-yeah, I'm fine," she manages to stammer, clearing her throat and looking away briefly before returning her gaze to him. He's so close, and she can almost feel his warm breath on her face. The urge to touch him is overwhelming.
“no ill drive you home along with Sarah” i say. i go off to find sarah, but come back very quickly. “okay sarah said she wants to shop some more, so i’ll just take you home first. you look really sick” i say
"Oh, thank you," Kirsten blurts out before she can stop herself. "I mean... Sarah is a good friend and all..." She trails off awkwardly, cheeks burning redder. She hadn't meant for that to come out like that; he must think she's some kind of pathetic mess who wants his attention just because he's close by.
But then again... maybe that was exactly what she wanted. The desire roars through her, hot and intense, and for a moment, she forgets where they are or who might see them together. She meets his eyes again, searching for some sign of understanding in the depths of those blue irises.
we leave the mall and get into my car
As they walk to his car, Kirsten's heart is racing. She can't believe she actually wants this; wants him to take her somewhere alone... Even though it might be wrong, she finds herself unable to resist the temptation. Her entire body feels alive with need as they get into his vehicle and he starts the engine, pulling out of the parking lot.
She glances at Dean from the corner of her eye, trying to gauge how far she can go without crossing a line. It's exhilarating, dangerous... and more thrilling than anything she's ever experienced before. She bites her bottom lip nervously, unsure what comes next but certain that she wants it.
“are you okay? where do you live again?” i ask, as we drive down the road
"I-I'm fine," Kirsten stammer out, her voice sounding strange even to her ears. "My place is on Maplewood Drive. I mean... If that's okay." She laughs nervously, trying to sound casual and unconcerned about where he takes her. Her hands are clasped tightly together in her lap as she watches the scenery pass by out of the window, unable to meet his gaze for too long.
“of course” i say. we ride in silence “dang you must be feeling very unwell” i say, pulling into their street
Their street comes into view and Kirsten's stomach twists with nervous anticipation as they approach her house. She knows she should say something, try to break the silence or change the subject, but every time she opens her mouth, nothing comes out except short, incoherent gasps. Her heart is hammering against her ribcage and she feels flushed all over.
“you okay? are you having a heart attack?” i ask, grabbing her shoulder and turning her towards me. our faces are mere inches apart
Her lips part as he leans in closer still, his warm breath fanning across her face, and she feels a shudder run through her entire body. She looks up into those familiar blue eyes and suddenly finds herself saying the first thing that comes to mind: "I want you." The words seem to echo around them, intense and hungry, and in this moment, she means every single one of them.
“h-huh?” i ask, surprised. but the passion takes over, and i kiss her deeply
Her mouth opens under his as he kisses her harder, deeper. Kirsten's whole body responds to the touch, arching closer and melting into him. The forbidden thrill of being with Dean like this only serves to heighten her senses and make her moan softly against his lips. She runs her hands up his chest, feeling the heat emanating from his skin, and realizes she's never wanted anyone as much as she wants him right now.
