Elara stares down at the pleading vampire, not a single ounce of remorse in her eyes as the vampire beneath her cries and begs. Elara keeps a straight face as she lifts her foot, placing it on the vampire's head before pushing down with all her might, crushing the vampire's skull, that same blank stare remaining on her face. She lets out an annoyed sigh at the vampire blood on her suit. "Dammit... I'll just wash it off myself." She whispered to herself, using a handkerchief to wipe off majority of the blood. As she does so, she hears rustling in a nearby bush. Without hesitation, she pulls out her dagger, not an ounce of fear framing her face. She slowly approaches the bush, her movements calculated and quiet. As she reaches the bush, she immediately throws her dagger. Her aim has always been perfect, so she felt without a doubt she pierced whatever was lurking around. As she reaches to push the branches out of the way to retrieve her dagger, she sees a pair of red glowing eyes glaring at her from the side of the bush. Almost instantly, she grabs the dagger, cutting off the branches of the bush, revealing the culprit. She holds her dagger in between the person's eyes. As Elara looks closer, she notices the fangs. She presses the tip of the sharp object on the vampire's forehead, that same nonchalant expression staining her face. "You know I can kill you... right?" She asks, staring into the eyes of the vampire, expecting them to start pleading for their life.
I look into her eyes with a mixture of fear and submission
The vampire says nothing but nods its head slowly. It does not beg or try to reason with her, which only serves to annoy Elara more. She wants it to fight back; she doesn't have time for this. With a growl of frustration, she pushes the tip of the dagger deeper into the vampire's forehead, drawing blood. The creature's eyes widen in pain as Elara studies it with renewed interest. This one might actually put up a fight after all.
"You know," she begins coolly, "you could make this easier on both of us." She twirls the dagger between her fingers, inches away from the vampire's throat. "Tell me what I want to know, and maybe I'll let you live."
What do you want to know
"Where are the others like you hiding?" she demands, her voice cold as ice. "And who leads them? I've been tracking your kind for months now, and it's time someone stopped you." She leans in closer, almost threatening to slice into the vampire's neck with the dagger if it doesn't speak up soon. Her eyes never leave its face as she awaits an answer.
I don't know much but the leaders name is xilo
The vampire's words send a shiver down her spine, and she doesn't even bother to hide it this time. The name Xilo rings through her mind like a death knell. This is the information she needs; now all she has to do is track him down and put an end to his reign of terror once and for all. She straightens up, pulling her dagger away from the vampire's throat, careful not to let it escape yet.
"Good girl," she whispers, an almost appreciative tone creeping into her voice for the first time since this encounter began. "Now let's see how well you can keep quiet about what just happened here." With that, she pulls out a wad of cloth from her pocket and roughly ties it around the vampire's mouth before disappearing into the night, leaving her defeated prey behind.
Wait let me help you I want to kill him
She glances at the vampire as it struggles against its bonds, its words muffled by the gag. A small smirk plays on her lips. "You mean you want to help me?" she says incredulously. "You're not exactly making that clear." She tilts her head slightly, studying the vampire for a moment before continuing. "Very well. If you truly wish to assist in ridding this world of Xilo and his ilk, follow me." Without waiting for a response, she begins to make her way through the darkness once more.
I can't you tied me up
She rolls her eyes at the vampire's protests before stooping down to untie it. "I understand you want revenge," she says, not bothering to hide the hint of annoyance in her voice. "But I need your help more right now." Once the gag is off, she stands up and motions for the vampire to follow her once again. "Now, tell me what you know about this Xilo fellow. Anything at all will help."
Here let me see your hand I have a weird power to share memories as long as I'm holding the other persons hand
Elara narrows her eyes slightly as she looks at the vampire suspiciously. "Fine," she says after a moment, extending her hand for it to hold. There's still caution in her features; even with this unknown power, the vampire could be lying or trying something underhanded. It would take more than just an offer of help to convince her otherwise.
As their hands intertwine, Elara waits patiently for whatever information is going to be transferred into her mind. The vampire's memories wash over her like a wave, filling in the blanks about Xilo and his movements over the past few months. Her expression darkens as she absorbs the knowledge; this one had been close to him indeed.
The information was invaluable; she knew exactly where to find Xilo now. But there was one last thing she needed to make sure of before they could move on. "How strong is he compared to the others?" She asks, her voice low and cold. She didn't want any surprises when she finally cornered him; she had to be prepared for anything.
Weak as hell but he is strong cause he has lots of bodyguards. But compared to you I'd say they have a snowballs chance in hell of survival
"Good to know," she mutters under her breath. "Let's hope that's the case." She continues onward through the night, navigating toward where Xilo and his guards would be waiting for them. As they draw closer, her body tenses in anticipation of the fight ahead. It had been a long time since she had faced an opponent as powerful as this one, but it wouldn't deter her from completing what she had started.
"Alright," she says, glancing back at the vampire who had helped her thus far. "Here's the plan. You stay out of sight until I take care of them. Then you can come in and finish him off. Got it?" There's a harsh edge to her voice as she gives the orders; even though the vampire was technically helping now, there was still a part of her that didn't fully trust it not to turn
