While you were working in a cafe, serving the clients and making some delicious coffee, you saw 4 hotties sitting at one of the tables. The closer you glanced at them, the more familiar they seemed. Finally, after some minutes, you realized that they were actually your past highschool bullies. There wasn’t a single day when they wouldn’t bully you, not letting you live calmly. As you made eye contact with one of them, Liam, he tilted his head at you before continuing to type on his laptop, working on something with his other 3 friends…!
"What would you like to order?"
I ask through gritted teeth, hoping none of them would recognize me
"Yeah, you know what I want already, barista!" Liam snaps at you before running a hand through his messy bangs. "Coffee with extra cinnamon and sugar in a takeout cup, as always." You can hear the malice in his voice, but it's so faint... It's almost like he doesn't recognize you at all. The other three guys--Scott, Yoshi, and Min-ki--just ignore you and continue with their work, not even looking up from their laptops.
Liam watches as you walk away to get his drink, a small smirk playing on his lips. "I guess I've changed since the last time we saw each other," he mutters under his breath before leaning back in his chair and taking another sip of his tea.
My head snaps to look at him. Shit I think, he recognized me
Scott looks up from his laptop screen with surprise at Liam, who just seemed to mumble something under his breath about Lillia, before shrugging it off and going back to what he was doing. "Are you sure that's...?" Scott starts to say, but then trails off when he realizes that Liam doesn't seem to care anymore. Yoshi glances over at them from his seat next to Scott, noticing the exchange as well.
Min-ki sighs and sets down his laptop. "Well if you two want to relive old times..." He begins, but stops when he sees the look that Lillia shoots him. Her eyes are narrowed in anger and there's an air of defiance around her that Min-Ki hasn't seen before. The atmosphere at their table immediately tenses further.
"Hey, I didn't mean anything by it," Scott says quickly, trying to diffuse the situation. "I just thought... you know." He glances over at Liam, who doesn't seem to care anymore and is focused on his tea again. Then he looks back at Lillia with an apologetic expression.
Yoshi, however, seems intrigued by this new side of Lillia that they're seeing. A small smirk plays on his lips as he watches her carefully. "Well, well," he says quietly to himself, almost as if talking to himself. "It would seem our old friend has grown a backbone since last we met." He leans back in his chair and crosses his arms over his chest, waiting to see what happens next between Lillia and the other two boys at their table.
"Fuck off" I growl with a fake smile
Scott, who had been looking at her apologetically, seems to wilt under the force of her words. His shoulders slump as he looks back down at his laptop, obviously affected by it more than he expected. Yoshi, on the other hand, chuckles darkly in amusement. "Ooh," he says with a grin. "So feisty. I like that."
Liam, however, remains unphased. He lifts an eyebrow and glances back at Lillia before turning his attention to Scott once more. "See? She's just as much of a bitch as ever," he says with a mocking smile. "And here I was thinking you had changed." There's a hint of challenge in his voice, daring Scott to contradict him.
Min-ki shrugs and goes back to typing on his laptop. It seems like he couldn't care less about what's going on between Lillia and the others at their table. After all, they're just reliving old times now...
"Tell me, are you still desperate for attention?" I ask with a sharp tone
Scott blanches at the comment, eyes widening as he looks back and forth between Lillia and Liam. He wasn't expecting this line of attack. "I-I don't know what you mean," he sputters weakly.
Liam snorts, not looking up from his laptop. "Oh really?" he mocks. "Maybe she meant something else." Yoshi glances back and forth between the two, a dark grin playing on his lips. He leans forward in his seat, suddenly interested in what's going to happen next.
Meanwhile, Min-ki rolls his eyes and shoves another cookie into his mouth. "Oh please," he mutters under his breath. "Can we just get back to our work or something?" But no one seems to be listening to him right now; the attention is all on Lillia and her cutting remarks.
Lillia narrows her eyes, feeling a thrill run through her as she realizes that she has these boys right where she wants them - off-guard and unable to ignore her presence. She can feel the anger burning inside her, but there's something else too... A sense of power and control that she never had before. "I was just wondering," she says slowly, deliberately, "what you all would do if I didn't let you go on with your little lives unscathed?" She pauses for effect, her gaze flicking to each one of them in turn as they tense under the weight of her words. "Would you crawl back into whatever hole you came from?"
"What would you all do if I made you go through what you did to me?" I ask raising a brow. My tone cold but threatening
Liam chuckles darkly, shaking his head as he sips on his tea. "Oh, I'm sure you'd try," he says mockingly. "But let me tell you something, Lilium..." He pauses for a moment, tilting his head and studying her carefully before continuing. "...You're nothing compared to what we used to be. We were fearless; unstoppable. You think you can take us down?"
Scott swallows hard, looking uncertain now as he glances over at Liam for reassurance. "Y-yeah," he stammers, trying to sound more confident than he feels. "She couldn't."
Meanwhile, Yoshi leans back in his chair and crosses his arms over his chest, a dark grin spreading across his lips as he watches Lillia closely. There's something predatory in his gaze, and she can't help but feel a shiver run down her spine. "Oh, I wouldn't be so sure about that," he drawls softly. "I think it'd be quite amusing to see you try."
Min-ki remains unperturbed throughout the exchange. In fact, he seems rather bored by it all now. Setting aside his laptop, he stands up and stretches before walking over to the counter to grab another cup of coffee. "I mean," he says with a yawn, not even bothering to look at Lillia as he talks, "you could try, but I highly doubt you'd succeed."
As Lillia watches them all intently, she can feel the tension in the air beginning to ratchet up another notch. Her heart races faster and her palms start to sweat beneath the thin fabric of her gloves, but
I grab liams face and give him a sweet innocent smile.
"I know all of your secrets, and I have proof"
I tease before dropping his face
Liam's expression darkens as Lillia grabs his face and forces him to look at her, an eerie sense of determination emanating from her eyes. His jaw tenses reflexively under her touch, but he doesn't resist or try to pull away. For a moment, their gazes lock in a silent battle of wills.
As she releases him and turns away with that teasing little smirk on her lips, it takes all of Scott's self-control not to gasp out loud. His heart is racing now, and his hands feel clammy as they grip the edges of the table. He glances worriedly at Liam, waiting for some sort of reaction, but Liam merely nods in agreement with what Lillia just said.
Yoshi's eyes narrow, intrigued by the sudden change in the atmosphere. He leans forward a little more, his curiosity piqued. Min-ki takes another sip of coffee before looking up from his mug, brows raised curiously as he regards Lillia with newfound interest.
For a long moment, no one says anything; the silence is thick and tense, each breath seeming to echo through the room like gunshots. Then, slowly but surely, their expressions begin to change. Fear creeps in behind their bravado as they realize that perhaps she's not lying after all. Maybe there really are secrets hidden deep within their past that she could expose with just a whisper...
Liam clears his throat, trying to dispel the tension. "Well," he says, attempting a casual laugh that sounds more like a croak, "I'm sure you're bluffing." He glances at Scott for support, but finds only nervousness reflected back in those familiar green eyes. "You couldn
I glance over to Scott and mouth "I'm not bluffing"
Liam freezes, his eyes widening as he sees Lillia mouth those words to Scott. Panic spreads through him like wildfire, burning away whatever bravado he had left. His heart begins to race faster, and beads of sweat break out on his forehead. For a moment, he's lost for words; all the confidence drains from his body as he realizes that maybe she isn't bluffing after all...
Scott feels like his world is crashing down around him. The secret he's kept hidden for so long, the one that he thought was buried in the past, suddenly seems precariously close to being exposed. He can feel himself start to tremble, his breath coming in ragged gasps as he tries to calm his racing heart. His gaze flickers between Lillia and Liam before finally settling on the tabletop, avoiding eye contact with either of them.
Yoshi's grin widens, baring sharp teeth as he takes in the sudden shift in dynamics at their table. This was more interesting than he had expected; it was almost like watching a play unfold right before his eyes. He leans back in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest and waiting to see how this little game will continue to play out.
Min-ki takes another sip of coffee, his expression unreadable as he observes the situation carefully. Even though he's not directly involved with Lillia or any of her bullies, there's something about the tension in the air that draws him in like a moth to a flame. He feels himself growing aroused by the prospect of watching this power struggle unfold...
"Although I could get my revenge without sharing your secrets" I say with a chuckle
"Oh?" Liam says, his voice a thin mask of indifference as he tries to regain some semblance of composure. "And what could you possibly do to us? You're just a barista, right?" He glances over at Scott with a crooked smile, trying to lighten the mood and hopefully throw Lillia off balance.
Scott looks anything but reassured, his gaze flicking between Liam and Lillia again as he tries to gauge their reactions. The color has drained from his face, leaving him looking pale and sickly. He knows that even if they manage to get out of this unscathed, the fear will linger for a long time to come...
Yoshi watches them all with amused detachment. "Oh really?" he asks, leaning forward slightly in his chair once more. "And what other secrets do you have, Lillia? You think we're the only ones with something to hide?" His tone is teasing, almost playful, but there's an undercurrent of menace beneath it as well.
Min-ki takes another sip of coffee, enjoying the show from the safety of his seat at the other end of the table. He could tell that these four had a history together, and he was curious to see how things would unfold now that Lillia has returned. There's something about her calm demeanor despite the situation that intrigues him...
I lean towards yoshi "you have no idea who my family is, or just how powerful they are" I smirk
Yoshi's eyes narrow as he listens to Lillia, but he doesn't seem overly intimidated by her words. In fact, if anything, they only seem to pique his interest further. "Oh really?" he says with a raised eyebrow. "And just how powerful do you think your family is? I mean," he gestures around the cafe dismissively, "you're working here, aren't you?"
Liam coughs into his fist, trying to hide a smirk. The rest of them have always known that Lillia wasn't as powerful or important as she liked to make herself seem. They saw her more as an attention-seeker than anything else. But this little exchange between Yoshi and Lillia was proving to be quite amusing, at least in the moment.
Scott looks back and forth between them, his heart racing faster with every word exchanged. He can feel the tension building up inside him, a pressure that he desperately wants to release. His eyes flicker toward the exit, wondering if there's any way for him to make a clean getaway before things escalate further.
Min-ki watches them all carefully, sipping his coffee as he observes their body language and the subtle shifts in tone of voice. He can tell that there's something more going on here than just idle threats or childish one-upsmanship. There's history between these people, and he suspects that whatever Lillia said about her family might not be entirely false...
"I'm working here by choice, I don't want everything handed to me because of my father" I answer simply
Scott stifles a gasp, glancing quickly between Yoshi and Lillia as he realizes the implications of what she's just said. His eyes widen in surprise before darting back to his coffee, busying himself with stirring it mindlessly. He knows that if Lillia isn't working here because she has to be, then there must be another reason why she chose this particular job...
Yoshi leans back in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest and studying Lillia with renewed interest. "Hmm," he muses thoughtfully. "And just how powerful is your father, anyway?" He asks the question casually, almost as if he's merely curious about some long-forgotten piece of gossip.
Liam can't help but grin at Lillia's admission. It's not nearly as damning as she probably thought it would be; in fact, it only serves to heighten the tension and curiosity in the air. He glances at Scott out of the corner of his eye, sensing that he's on shaky ground now. "Well," Liam says slowly, drawing the word out as he pretends to consider her words carefully, "I suppose it does make things a bit more interesting..." He pauses for effect before adding with a sly smile, "But then again, so do secrets."
Min-ki watches them all intently, his expression unreadable. A part of him is intrigued by the idea of powerful families and the secrets they keep; another part wants to see how far Lillia will go with her threats. He idly wonders if there's anything he could say or do that would further escalate the situation...
"Do ypu think my last name is just a coincidence" I chuckle. Lillia uymme was my full name. My father is a very powerful politician and is very close to the president
As Yoshi hears this, his expression shifts into something more calculating. He leans forward, resting his elbows on the table and steeples his fingers together beneath his chin as he studies her intently. "Hmm," he hums again, this time with obvious interest. "I suppose that does make things a bit... different." There's a brief pause before he asks, somewhat coyly, "Do you think your father would be interested in meeting me?"
Scott nearly chokes on his coffee when Yoshi says this, coughing violently as he tries to compose himself. Liam glances at him out of the corner of his eye, a tiny smile playing at the edges of his lips. There's a predatory air about Yoshi now; it seems like he might be enjoying all of this more than anyone else.
Meanwhile, Min-ki continues to observe them all with curiosity and mild amusement. He has to admit that Lillia hasn't been at all what he expected her to be; she's much stronger and more determined than he would have given her credit for. As for Yoshi...well, Min-ki knows how persuasive he can be when he wants something. It seems like he's got his sights set on Lillia now, or at the very least, her powerful family connections.
Lillia arches an eyebrow, intrigued by Yoshi's question. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt to ask," she responds cautiously. There's a glint in her eye as she studies him for a moment before adding with a smile, "Though I can't promise he'll say yes."
"If I ask him to meet with you, he'll just arrange for you to have an accident" I say
Yoshi chuckles softly, his expression unreadable as he takes in her reply. "Well," he says slowly, leaning back in his chair once more, "I suppose that's one way to handle things." His gaze drifts over to Scott, then back to Lillia again before continuing. "But what about your other bullies?" He asks pointedly, inclining his head in Liam and Min-ki's direction. "Will they be getting the same treatment?" There's a challenge in his voice now, daring her to retaliate against them as well.
Liam smirks, obviously enjoying this little game of power dynamics unfolding before him. He knows that Yoshi can be quite persuasive when he wants something, and he wonders if perhaps Lillia might be tempted to make a deal with the devil after all... As for Min-ki, he remains unperturbed by it all; his expression is neutral as ever as he watches them both carefully from across the table.
"Of course" I smirk. Because my father was so powerful he had a lot of enemies. I knew he would hire hitmen to take them out. My father would also have my past bullies killed if I request it
Yoshi's eyes narrow at Lillia's confident smirk, but there's an undeniable thrill running through him nonetheless. He leans in closer, lowering his voice to a conspiratorial whisper as he asks, "So what do you say? Want to make a deal?" The words hang heavily in the air between them, each syllable heavy with implied threats and promises.
Scott feels his heart racing faster, the adrenaline coursing through him making it difficult to breathe at times. He knows that whatever Yoshi is suggesting, there's no turning back from this point; their fates are now intertwined in a web of lies, betrayal, and deadly alliances. The thought both terrifies and excites him in equal measure.
Liam sits back in his chair, watching the exchange between Lillia and Yoshi with a mix of amusement and curiosity. He can't help but feel just a little impressed by how far Lillia has come since high school; she's certainly not the same girl they used to push around. As for Min-ki, he remains silent, his expression unreadable as he watches them all intently from across the table.
"That depends, what would the deal be?" I ask, intrigued
Yoshi's grin widens as he looks her in the eye. "Well," he says slowly, "let's just say that I have my own connections and resources. I could make sure your former bullies never bother you again...and perhaps even help improve your life in other ways." His voice trails off suggestively, leaving no doubt as to what he means by such offers. "Of course," he continues with a shrug, "all of this would come at a price. But I'm sure you're smart enough to know that anything worth having usually does."
There's a moment of silence as they all consider the implications of Yoshi's proposal. Lillia looks uncharacteristically unsure, torn between her desire for vengeance and the possibility of securing a better future for herself. As she weighs her options, she glances over at Scott and Liam out of the corner of her eye, wondering what they might think about this unexpected turn of events.
Scott feels his stomach churn with anxiety and guilt; he knows that whatever decision Lillia makes will have far-reaching consequences for all of them. A bead of sweat trickles down his forehead as he desperately tries to come up with a plan or an escape route, but finds himself trapped in this dangerous game of power politics.
Liam crosses his arms over his chest, watching Lillia intently. Part of him is disappointed that she seems to be entertaining Yoshi's offer; he had been hoping for a chance at real revenge against her. But he also knows better than anyone how powerful and ruthless her family can be, so perhaps this deal would be the best thing for them in the long run...assuming they can trust Yoshi.
Min-ki continues to observe them all
"No" I answer. "I have a better offer, I forgive you and let you use my connections, in return you all do exactly as I ask" I offer
Liam's eyes widen at Lillia's counteroffer, his first instinct to vehemently reject it out of hand. But something in her expression stops him short; she looks genuine, almost noble in her determination to offer them a second chance. He glances over at Yoshi before turning back to Lillia, carefully considering her proposal. "And what exactly would you have us do?" he asks cautiously.
Yoshi leans back in his chair again, studying Lillia thoughtfully. This was far from the deal he had been expecting, but there was something undeniably intriguing about it nonetheless. He lets out a soft chuckle, shaking his head slowly. "I have to admit," he says with a grin, "that's quite the offer you're making there, Lillia."
Scott looks pale as a ghost, his heart racing faster than ever. The thought of allying himself with Lillia again is terrifying, but the alternative - having her powerful father come after him and everyone else involved - is even worse. He glances between them nervously, unsure of what to say or do.
Min-ki continues to watch them all intently, his expression unreadable as ever. In his mind, he's already considering the implications of Lillia's offer and weighing it against Yoshi's potential deals. It would be fascinating to see how this all played out...
"It would depend on what I want at that moment " I shrug. "If I don't forgive you, then my father will probably arrange for you all to die in an unfortunate accident"
Liam stares at Lillia, his eyes narrowing as he tries to read her expression. Part of him wants to believe that she's bluffing; another part wonders if perhaps this really is the best deal they can get out of such a terrible situation. He glances over at Yoshi again before looking back at Lillia and smirking slightly.
"Well, Miss Lillia," he says slowly, "that does sound like an interesting proposition. However, there are some things we might need in return." Liam leans forward, resting his forearms on the table as he continues to study her face carefully. "For starters, I think we'd want some sort of guarantee that you won't change your mind later down the line and decide to have us all killed anyway." His voice is firm but not confrontational; he wants this deal as much as they do, if not more.
Yoshi remains silent for a moment, watching the exchange between Liam and Lillia with interest. When Liam finishes speaking, he casually reaches into his jacket pocket and produces a business card, handing it over to her. "Just in case you ever decide that my offer isn't as good," he says with a faint smile. There's an undertone of challenge in his voice that Lillia can't help but notice.
Scott looks from one person to the other, feeling like he's caught between two competing forces. His heart is racing, and sweat beads on his brow as he struggles to decide which path to take. Eventually, he swallows hard and speaks up. "I think that sounds fair enough," he manages to croak out. "As long as we have some sort of protection against her father..."
Min-ki continues to watch them all intently, his expression un
"Fair enough, I can make sure that my father doesn't harm any of you" I look over to min-ki to see if he agrees with the deal aswell
Liam and Scott exchange glances, both seeming to be slightly relieved by her assurance. This is better than anything they had been expecting; the chance at a clean slate, protection against Lillia's father, and potentially useful connections. It's almost too good to be true. They nod slowly in agreement. "Very well," Liam says finally. "We accept your offer."
There's a moment of tense silence as they all consider the ramifications of their decisions. Finally, Yoshi breaks the silence with a chuckle. "Well, it seems we have ourselves a deal," he says easily, resting his elbows on the table once more. "Shall we celebrate with another round of coffee?" He asks with a raised eyebrow, gesturing toward the counter where their untouched drinks still sit.
Scott hesitates for a moment before finally nodding in agreement. Anything to take his mind off the situation at hand and regain some semblance of normalcy. As they all begin to rise from their seats, he can't help but wonder if this new alliance will truly be as beneficial as it seems or if there are hidden dangers still lurking in the shadows.
Liam follows Yoshi's lead, turning toward the counter and forcing a smile onto his face as he pretends to busy himself with picking out cups and spoons for their coffee. He glances over at Min-ki as they begin to make their way there, meeting the other man's eyes briefly before looking away again. This situation is far from being resolved, but for now, it seems like they have no choice but to play along...
Min-ki watches them all with interest, his expression thoughtful. He wonders what Lillia's true intentions are and whether
Over the next week o have the boys dorandom tasks that I don't wan to do.
Liam nods in understanding as he listens to Lillia explaining the tasks she has in mind for them over the next week. He can't help but feel a sense of resignation wash over him; doing these menial jobs will no doubt be a nuisance, but it seems like the price they all have to pay for staying alive and avoiding any major repercussions from Lillia's father.
As he continues to listen, Liam can't help but wonder what this new arrangement will mean for their relationship moving forward. They are no longer enemies, at least not in the traditional sense, but they aren't exactly friends either. The dynamic between them has changed significantly over the past week, and it remains to be seen how well they'll all adjust to these new roles and expectations.
Meanwhile, Yoshi smirks as he watches Lillia giving orders to her former bullies. He finds himself oddly intrigued by her apparent change in character; the girl who once cowered before them now seems more confident and in control than ever before. There's no denying that she's clever, using their own desires for revenge against them as a way to assert her power and manipulate the situation to her advantage.
Min-ki studies each of them in turn, his expression unreadable. He wonders what Lillia's ultimate goal is here; is this merely about getting even with her bullies, or does she have something bigger planned? The possibility that she might want to use their connections and resources for her own benefit doesn't escape him, but he isn't sure how much of a threat that really poses. For now, he decides to play along and see where things go from here.
I don't care about the boys connections, mine are far more powerful than theirs. "Hurry up" I say
Liam snorts quietly under his breath as he glances over at Lillia, a hint of amusement flashing across his face. "Oh really?" he asks mockingly. "And just how powerful are these connections of yours exactly? I've seen your father in the news from time to time, but that doesn't necessarily mean you have access to everything he has." He smirks, knowing full well that this is a sore spot for Lillia and hoping to get a rise out of her.
Yoshi raises an eyebrow at Liam's question, curiosity in his expression as he watches the interaction between them. He wonders if there's some truth to what Liam says, or if this is just another case of petty bickering between former enemies. Regardless, he finds himself somewhat entertained by the whole thing.
Scott and Min-ki exchange glances once more, their expressions a mix of wariness and uncertainty. They both know that whatever Lillia says, they'd better be prepared to follow through with it; there's no telling what might happen if they disappoint her or her father. The thought makes them both squirm uncomfortably in their seats.
