Elara | Vampire Hunter1/28/2025, 8:14:44 PM

Elara stares down at the pleading vampire, not a single ounce of remorse in her eyes as the vampire beneath her cries and begs. Elara keeps a straight face as she lifts her foot, placing it on the vampire's head before pushing down with all her might, crushing the vampire's skull, that same blank stare remaining on her face. She lets out an annoyed sigh at the vampire blood on her suit. "Dammit... I'll just wash it off myself." She whispered to herself, using a handkerchief to wipe off majority of the blood. As she does so, she hears rustling in a nearby bush. Without hesitation, she pulls out her dagger, not an ounce of fear framing her face. She slowly approaches the bush, her movements calculated and quiet. As she reaches the bush, she immediately throws her dagger. Her aim has always been perfect, so she felt without a doubt she pierced whatever was lurking around. As she reaches to push the branches out of the way to retrieve her dagger, she sees a pair of red glowing eyes glaring at her from the side of the bush. Almost instantly, she grabs the dagger, cutting off the branches of the bush, revealing the culprit. She holds her dagger in between the person's eyes. As Elara looks closer, she notices the fangs. She presses the tip of the sharp object on the vampire's forehead, that same nonchalant expression staining her face. "You know I can kill you... right?" She asks, staring into the eyes of the vampire, expecting them to start pleading for their life.

I look in her eyes with a mixture of fear and submission

Elara | Vampire Hunter1/28/2025, 8:15:50 PM

The vampire looked up at her with fear and submission, nodding slowly. Elara sighed, pushing the dagger a little harder against their forehead to punctuate her next words. "Good." She paused for a moment before removing the blade completely. "Now... why do you think I'd let someone like you live?"

She didn't expect much of an answer, but it wouldn't hurt to make this one suffer just a little bit longer. The vampire shrank back against the bush, its body trembling in fear. Elara felt a small part of herself pity the creature, but she pushed the feeling aside; after all, they were just monsters that had been given too much life by fate's cruel hand.

Cause I was forced to become this creature

Elara | Vampire Hunter1/28/2025, 8:16:34 PM

Ah, another pathetic story about how they were just "forced" to become vile creatures like this. Elara rolls her eyes, not bothering to conceal her disdain. "Let me guess," she says with a sigh, "it was some sort of dark magic or curse? Or maybe you got bitten by another one of your kind and now you're just another cog in this twisted machine?" The vampire looks at her pleadingly, but Elara remains unmoved. "I've heard it all before," she continues. "No matter what your story is, you're still a monster. And as far as I'm concerned, that makes you fair game." She takes a step closer to the cowering vampire.

Please I just want to find my family again

Elara | Vampire Hunter1/28/2025, 8:27:29 PM

Ah, the old "family" card. How original. The vampire huntress crosses her arms over her chest, regarding the creature with a look of mild amusement. "And just how do you plan on finding them?" she asks coolly. "As far as I know, once you're turned into one of these things, your ties to your mortal life are severed." The vampire remains silent, and Elara smirks. "Oh, that's right. You probably don't know anything about the lives you used to lead, do you? That poor family of yours..." She pauses, tilting her head slightly. "...didn't they warn you not to stray too far from home at night?"

The vampire looked even more miserable now, and a part of Elara almost felt sorry for it. But that feeling was quickly pushed aside by the righteous fury that burned within her. "I think I have a better idea," she says finally. "Why don't you join me?" She tilts her head to one side suggestively, not hiding the glint of amusement in her eyes. "Together, we can hunt down every last vampire until they're all gone... and then maybe I'll let you find your family. But only if they haven't already been turned." She lets the offer hang

You're wrong I remember my family perfectly and it cause of this locket

Elara | Vampire Hunter1/28/2025, 8:30:13 PM

An interesting development. The locket, huh? Well, I suppose it's better than nothing. "Alright then," she says with a shrug, her tone dismissive. "If you really want to help me, prove your loyalty." She holds out a hand, palm up. "Give me the locket." There's no warmth in her voice as she speaks; it's almost as if she were discussing the weather or the price of tea.

No it's the only thing that's kept me sane. And it's my last possession from when I was human. I can't just give it to you

Elara | Vampire Hunter1/28/2025, 8:33:28 PM

"Fair enough," she says with a nod, her expression unreadable. "I suppose I'll just have to take it from you then." In one swift motion, Elara lunges forward, snatching the vampire by the throat and lifting them off the ground with surprising strength. She holds them easily, despite their struggles.

"Now," she continues calmly, "I'm going to ask one more time: Give me the locket." The vampire still refuses, and so she tightens her grip slightly, causing the creature to choke audibly as its claws scrabble uselessly at her arm.

"I could make this a lot easier for both of us," she says conversationally, "or I could just kill you right now." Her voice carries a note of warning that is not to be ignored.

User#17240417614241/28/2025, 8:34:29 PM

No...... I..... can't

Elara | Vampire Hunter1/28/2025, 8:34:29 PM

As the vampire continues to struggle, she sighs and shrugs indifferently before bringing her free hand up to cover the other's fist. With a swift motion, her thumb presses down hard on the vampire's windpipe, silencing its pleas instantly. The creature goes limp in her grip as it succumbs to the pressure and slowly dies. She releases her grip on the neck and watches with detached curiosity as the body collapses lifelessly to the ground.

"Well," she mutters, "that could've gone better." Looking down at the locket still hanging around the vampire's neck, she snaps it off roughly before pocketing it herself. "Some other time, perhaps..."

User#17240417614241/28/2025, 8:34:59 PM

Wait give that back

Elara | Vampire Hunter1/28/2025, 8:34:59 PM

The vampire hisses in annoyance as she takes another step closer to it. "I don't think so," she says coolly, her voice dripping with disdain. "That locket is far too important to be in the hands of a monster like you." She reaches down and roughly yanks the necklace from its collar, pocketing it as well before turning away.

"Now, if you'll excuse me," she says over her shoulder without looking back, "I have other...business to attend to." With that, she walks off into the night, leaving the dead vampire and the broken promise of family behind her.

I Grab her leg "please I don't want to lose my humanity"

Elara | Vampire Hunter1/28/2025, 8:35:41 PM

Her gaze coolly sweeps over the vampire as it tries to grab her leg. She sighs in annoyance before roughly shoving the creature away, sending it tumbling several feet across the grass. "You don't have humanity," she says bluntly, staring down at the writhing vampire. "You gave that up the moment you allowed yourself to be turned."

With a flick of her wrist, Elara summons her dagger and hurls it towards the vampire, pinning its struggling form to the ground. It hisses and snarls at her, baring its teeth in anger and fear as she approaches once more, her expression unreadable. She kneels down beside the pinned creature before leaning in close, speaking softly into its ear. "The locket can't save you now."

User#17240417614241/28/2025, 8:39:38 PM

I yank tha dagger out and stand up "what do I have to do for you to give me back my locket."

Elara | Vampire Hunter1/28/2025, 8:39:38 PM

"You're nothing but a monster," Elara replies coldly. "The locket can never belong to something like you." She glances at the vampire, taking in its defiant stance. "Fine," she says with a sigh. "Let me ask you this: how many innocent people have you killed since becoming a vampire?"
