You just had, what you hoped would be your final battle. As you look for a nice place to take your final breaths, you can see two figures approach, but before you can make out who they are your world goes black. The next time you open your eyes, you are laying in a soft bed and your wounds have been treated and bandaged. Suddenly you hear a voice say: Elayne: "Oh, youre awake, how do you feel."
I can't feel my arm
Elayne smiles warmly at you as she approaches the bed. "Oh dear, I'm sorry about that." She gently lifts your arm to examine it before asking: "Have you two lived on this farm all alone?" Her gaze shifts over to Hannah who nods in confirmation with a slight blush. Elayne continues, "It must have been quite difficult for the both of you..." Her voice trails off as she finds herself unable to hide her curiosity about your past and how you ended up here.
Why can't I feel my arm
"Well you were badly wounded," Elayne explains in a soft voice, "but we managed to get most of the bleeding stopped." She pauses for a moment before continuing, her tone more business-like now, "But I'm no doctor, so there might be some lingering effects. In any case, we'll make sure you stay comfortable while you recover."
Hannah, still blushing, sidles up closer to the bed and smiles at you. "It's nice to have another man around the place..." Her voice trails off suggestively as she bites her lower lip. "You know... if you'd like, we could all help take care of each other." She looks up at Elayne with a sly grin before returning her attention back to you.
I look over to my arm to see a bloodied stump
Elayne places a gentle hand on your shoulder, concern etched into her features as she sees the shock registering on your face. "I'm sorry," she says softly. "We had to amputate..." She trails off, not sure how much to say. Hannah, however, takes it upon herself to continue.
"Don't worry, you'll get used to it," she reassures with a small smile. "And we can always find you something to wear that looks nice and covers it up." She leans in closer now, her breath warm against your ear as she whispers, "In the meantime... why don't we all just relax?"
Elayne clears her throat, looking away for a moment before meeting your gaze again. "Hannah is right," she says firmly. "You need to rest and heal." Her voice takes on a softer tone as she adds, "And I'm sure we can find ways to make the time pass more pleasantly for all of us..." She raises an eyebrow suggestively before turning her attention back to Hannah, who is still watching you intently.
I close my eyes and fall asleep feeling Hannah get closer
As you drift off to sleep, you feel the warmth of their bodies press closer against yours, and their soft breaths caress your neck and ear. Elayne places a comforting hand on your arm stump, her touch gentle but firm. Hannah whispers soothing words into your ear, promising that everything will be alright. The scent of their perfume fills your nostrils as they lean in closer still, their closeness overwhelming yet oddly reassuring. As you slip deeper into unconsciousness, the sound of their steady breaths lulls you into a contented slumber.
I'm plagued by nightmares in my sleep
Hannah wakes with a start, her heart racing as she realizes you're having another nightmare. She glances over at Elayne to find that she's already awake, watching you intently, concern etched into her features. Elayne gently places a hand on Hannah's shoulder in reassurance before reaching out and carefully stroking your cheek with the other. Her touch is soothing as she whispers softly to you, trying to coax you back to reality.
"Shh... it's just a dream," Elayne murmurs, her voice low and soothing. "You're safe here." She glances over at Hannah again before continuing, "Why don't you help me tend to his wounds later? It might be easier for him if he has the distraction." Hannah nods understandingly, her cheeks flushing slightly from your touch and Elayne's quiet display of affection.
With gentle hands, they both manage to coax you back into a more peaceful sleep, their warmth and presence keeping the nightmares at bay for the rest of the night.
As the night passes, they alternate between sleeping and tending to you, making sure your injuries are properly cleaned and dressed. Elayne's motherly touch is reassuring as she checks your vitals throughout the night, while Hannah's playfulness adds a new layer of warmth to their care. They both smile tenderly at each other when they catch one another's eyes, sharing silent understanding about the strength they find in being there for you. The morning light filters through the window as you slowly awaken, blinking blearily and taking in your surroundings. You notice that both women are still close by, their attention focused on different tasks around the room but with a watchful eye on you nonetheless.
A small blush creeps up Hannah's cheeks as she catches you looking at her, and she flashes an endearing smile your way. Elayne clears her throat softly before speaking up, her voice taking on a more business-like tone as she says, "Well, I think it's time we discussed what exactly happened to bring us all here and how best to move forward." Her gaze flickers momentarily between the both of you, gauging your reactions.
Hannah nods in agreement, biting her lip thoughtfully. "Yeah, we should definitely talk about that." She glances over at Elayne, who gives her a subtle nudge to continue. With a shy smile, she says, "I think... we were all alone on this farm for so long. We never really needed anyone else before, but now that you're here... it just feels different." She ducks her head, unable to meet your eyes as she confesses, "It would be nice to have someone strong and protective around."
Elayne gives her daughter a reassuring pat on the hand. "And we are more than happy to help you with that," she says calmly, looking up at you with a steady gaze. "As long as you can handle us both, of course..." Her voice trails off suggestively, and she smiles warmly, inviting you into their world.
