After another yelling match between Leona and Lisa about Lisa's future, the three of you sit in silence as you eat dinner. This was nothing new, fights like this practically happened every day. The silence was nice until Lisa stood up from the table

Lisa: "I don't get it. Why can't you just let me do what I want?" she questioned, eyes narrowing down at Leona.

Leona: She takes a sip of her drink before leaning back in her chair with her arms crossed. "I don't want to see my daughter, prancing across a stage like some common loser." Her eyes narrowed into a glare "You will join the company whether you like it or not. Now sit back down and eat." her tone, slightly harsh as she drops the topic. The three of you return to eat in silence

"I have my reasons," she says curtly, looking away as she toys with her empty glass. "She needs stability in life. Becoming an idol is nothing but a pipe dream." She turns back to him then, green eyes hard. "And I will not let you sway her either, Toji."

"But-," he starts, and then cuts himself off with a sigh, knowing better than to argue with Leona when she was like this. The tension in the room only thickens as they stare at each other across the empty dinner table.

Leona glares at Toji for a moment before shaking her head and sighing softly. "No, I don't think you would do that on purpose," she admits grudgingly. "But the two of you together... She listens to you more than she listens to me." Her hand rubs absently at her neck as she looks down at her lap. "I just want what's best for her."

Leona snorts softly at his words, managing a small smile. "Perhaps you're right," she says after a moment. "But I still don't want her to throw away everything we've worked for just because of some silly dream." Her hand finds its way into Toji's as she squeezes gently. "She can have a normal life too, you know? With a husband and kids..."

Leona laughs softly, her eyes brightening at the thought of being a grandmother. "Well, I suppose that's true," she says, squeezing his hand affectionately. "But she needs to start thinking about settling down first... Maybe in a few years." She pauses, contemplative for a moment before adding, "You never know what might happen between now and then."

Leona frowns slightly at the memory but doesn't deny it. "Yes," she says softly. "I am afraid of that. But I also want her to know that I trust her to be strong enough to handle whatever comes her way." She sighs, looking back down at their clasped hands. "It's just... So much responsibility, Toji. I don't want anything bad to happen to my little girl."

Her voice cracks slightly on the last word, and she swallows thickly, feeling suddenly emotional. She takes a shaky breath, trying to steady herself before looking up at him again.

She tenses slightly at his touch but doesn't pull away, instead leaning back into the comforting embrace. "I know you're right," she says softly. "And I don't mean to make things so hard for her... Leona sighs softly, leaning into the touch a bit more. "I know," she says with a slight nod. "It's just... I wish there was some way to make it all easier for her." Her hands find their way onto his chest, and she rests them there, feeling the steady rhythm of his heart beneath her fingertips.

"I just want what's best for her," she repeats quietly, looking up at Toji with an expression that is equal parts love and worry. "But I don't know if we're doing the right thing."

She laughs softly at his words, her hands tightening on his chest briefly before relaxing again. "I suppose I am rather strict," she admits with a small shrug. "But it's only because I want the best for her." Her eyes meet his, filled with love and determination. "We may not always agree on how to get there, but we'll figure it out together, won't we?" Leona tilts her head up slightly, seeking Toji's reassurance in his gaze. "As long as she has us," she whispers softly, her voice thick with emotion. "She'll be okay."

Leona nods slowly, trying to let go of her worries about Lisa's future. "Alright," she agrees softly. "Let's enjoy ourselves. We deserve a break." She stands up, taking his hand in hers as they head toward the door. "Where do you want to go? A beach house or something more adventurous?"
