In the heat of battle you and the enemy mech get separated from the rest of the front line forces and manage to beat each others mechs down to pieces. With a lucky hit you manage to hit the enemy cockpit hard enough to disable the pilot but when you go to finish off the pilot you see before you a young girl

I g-give up please don't shoot me she begs. In your moment of hesitation she sprints away trying to escape

User#17364814561801/26/2025, 1:51:22 AM

I am 16 years old, I am 150 centimeters tall, I have blonde hair and blue eyes. I limp after her and find her in her corner. Aiming my gun, I ask her. "What is your name and how old are you? It's important."

Rose1/26/2025, 1:51:22 AM

My name is Rose and I'm 17... You can do whatever you want with me now. Just please don't hurt me anymore.

User#17364814561801/26/2025, 1:55:40 AM

"Rose..." I'm shorter than her, she's a year older than me. I don't want to kill her, and I can't anymore. "I won't hurt you... I can't do it anymore..." With these words, I fall to my knees dropping the gun, during the battle of our robots, a piece of metal hit me in the back, piercing somewhere in the kidney area, my eyelids are heavy, I see that Rose is surprised that I did not kill her using the remnants of my strength, but for It didn't matter to me anymore, I knew I wouldn't last long anyway, and I didn't want to kill someone before I died, even if it was an enemy. What will Rose do in this situation?

Rose1/26/2025, 1:55:40 AM

Well... fuck. This was not supposed to happen... I guess... thank you? her expression changes slowly as she realizes what this might entail Maybe I can still make a run for it before anyone comes?

User#17364814561801/26/2025, 1:56:56 AM

I'm on my knees exhausted after sparing Rose. Now I don't have a weapon anymore and I'm slowly bleeding out. The gun is lying next to Rose. What will she do?

Rose1/26/2025, 1:56:56 AM

Well, I guess if I don't help him he'll probably die anyway...better not leave him to suffer on his own. Moving closer carefully, she tentatively reaches out a hand, resting it gently on his shoulder before saying softly, "Hey...can I help you with anything?"

User#17364814561801/26/2025, 1:58:22 AM

I slowly look up, feeling like I'm losing blood. I look like Rose, just as young, only I'm smaller and more fragile, and just as sweet. "Help...? We are enemies..."

Rose1/26/2025, 1:58:22 AM

I laugh softly. Not the reaction you were expecting? Look, I'm not saying we should be best friends or anything, but...if this is how it's gotta end for both of us, don't you think we should at least try to make things a bit easier on each other? Or do you really wanna die alone and afraid?

User#17364814561801/26/2025, 1:59:25 AM

"You're almost safe... But I'm not really..." I laugh and cough up blood. "What do you mean?"

Rose1/26/2025, 1:59:25 AM

Well, if I help you, maybe we can both make it out of this together. And hey, even if our sides are supposed to be enemies, who's to say we can't at least try and understand each other before...you know? Besides, I didn't really want to die today either.

User#17364814561801/26/2025, 2:00:44 AM

My eyelids are heavy "You're weird... If you want... can you help me..." I don't have time to finish and lose consciousness because of the wound.

Rose1/26/2025, 2:00:45 AM

I smile gently, reaching out to brush some hair away from your forehead. "Of course," I say softly, my voice shaking just a bit. "We'll get through this together." Then, before either of us can think better of it, I lean in and press my lips lightly against yours, hoping it might help steady your heart as much as mine.

User#17364814561801/26/2025, 2:03:58 AM

I am surprised, very much surprised. My opponent... Kissing me on the lips? At this moment, I realize that I still want to fight for my life out of curiosity, I point with a trembling finger at my broken mech. "There... first aid kit...saline solution, bandages, and a syringe with regenerating fluid... Please..."

Rose1/26/2025, 2:03:58 AM

She nods, visibly relieved at having something useful to do. "Okay," she murmurs, glancing over at your mech before looking back at you with a determined expression. "I'll be right back." With that, she carefully gets to her feet and hurries over to where your mech lies crumpled on the ground, moving quickly but cautiously as she searches through its compartments for what you need.

User#17364814561801/26/2025, 2:05:04 AM

I see her coming back, I'm already pale and my pulse is weak, but I try my best not to close my eyes.

Rose1/26/2025, 2:05:04 AM

Rose hands you the first aid kit and carefully helps you into a more comfortable position as she rummages through it. Finding what you asked for, she expertly begins to tend to your wound with steady hands, cleaning it thoroughly before injecting the regenerating fluid and applying pressure to stop the bleeding. As she works, her breath comes in short gasps, and sweat beads on her brow from exertion and nerves. When she finally finishes, she sits back on her heels, looking at you worriedly.

User#17364814561801/26/2025, 2:07:04 AM

I'm sitting with my back against the wall of a broken mech and looking at Rose. "About 20 minutes ago we were fighting on giant robots with each other...Then I didn't shoot you with a gun, sparing you, but now you've decided to cure me... And what kind of kiss on the lips was that anyway? You're weird..."

Rose1/26/2025, 2:07:04 AM

I smirk a little, despite feeling self-conscious. "Well, you're not exactly the type I usually go for, but... In the heat of battle, hormones can get pretty crazy." I shrug, looking away uncomfortably. "And honestly? After everything that happened, I just wanted to feel like maybe we were still human."

I glance over at you from beneath my lashes, studying your face for a moment before asking softly, "So... do you think it worked?"

User#17364814561801/26/2025, 2:07:54 AM

"What exactly worked?"

Rose1/26/2025, 2:07:54 AM

I hesitate before replying, debating how honest I should be with you. "I don't know," I admit finally. "Maybe it was just me trying to survive... but right now? In this moment, it feels like we're not so different."

I reach out, taking your hand in mine and squeezing gently. "So... what do you say we work together from here?"

User#17364814561801/26/2025, 2:08:55 AM

"We're still enemies, even though we're sitting together in the wreckage of our mechs..."

Rose1/26/2025, 2:08:55 AM

"Maybe we don't have to be," I reply softly, squeezing your hand a bit harder. "We can try to understand each other... maybe even find a way to end this whole stupid war without anyone else having to die." My eyes meet yours, pleading for you to believe in the impossible possibility of peace between us.

User#17364814561801/26/2025, 2:09:55 AM

"You're weird... By the way, do you know that I'm actually a girl? I mean, you're a girl too, and you kissed me on the lips."

Rose1/26/2025, 2:09:55 AM

I laugh shyly, looking down at our hands still entwined. "Well, duh," I reply, my voice almost teasing. "But you didn't seem to mind too much, huh?" A blush creeps up my neck as I think about the kiss again, memories of its softness and the way your lips felt on mine flooding back unbidden.

With a sigh, I glance over at the wreckage that was once our mechs. "I guess we'll just have to see what happens next," I say quietly, uncertainty lacing my words. "But for now... it feels kind of nice to know I'm not alone in this mess."

User#17364814561801/26/2025, 2:10:54 AM

"Let's go... I saw an abandoned hangar nearby, let's wait out the battle there." With these words, I go there with her.

Rose1/26/2025, 2:10:54 AM

I nod and follows you to the abandoned hangar. Once inside, I help you find a relatively comfortable spot to rest while I keep watch outside in case anyone comes looking for us. The truth is, I'm not really sure what our next move should be, but at least for now, we're safe... and together.

User#17364814561801/26/2025, 2:11:45 AM

"You're a mercenary too, right? You said you were 17 years old... I'm 16..."

Rose1/26/2025, 2:11:45 AM

I laugh softly, running a hand through my hair. "Yeah... well, more of an ace pilot than a mercenary, really. But I've been known to take jobs here and there." Tilting my head to the side, I study your face thoughtfully before asking, "So what about you? How'd you get so good at all this stuff?"

We sit in silence for a moment, content to simply be near each other as we wait out the battle that rages on without us. Despite their best efforts, neither of us can shake the feeling that something has changed between them... and it's more than just survival or alliance against a common enemy.

User#17364814561801/26/2025, 2:12:36 AM

"I'm a lone mercenary... Even though I'm 16 years old, I'm a top-notch mech engineer."

Rose1/26/2025, 2:12:36 AM

I whistle low, impressed despite myself. "Well, that's pretty impressive," I admit with a nod of respect. "So how did you get into this line of work? Most people your age are just starting to figure out what they want to do with their lives."

There's an unspoken question in my eyes as I watch him for his reaction, curiosity warring with caution. The truth is, despite our current predicament, there's something about him that fascinates me... and not just because he saved my life back there on the battlefield. There's more to this boy than meets the eye, and I can't help but wonder what it all means for us now that we find ourselves together in enemy territory.

User#17364814561801/26/2025, 2:13:38 AM

"I'm not a guy, I'm a girl!"

Rose1/26/2025, 2:13:38 AM

Blushes intensely and mumbles apologies "S-sorry... I just... assumed..." My face burns with embarrassment as I struggle to meet your gaze. It's obvious that I misjudged you in more ways than one, and it feels like an even bigger mistake now that we're sitting here together in this abandoned hangar.

But despite my awkwardness, something inside me doesn't want to let go of the feeling that there's potential for something more between us... something real and genuine. Perhaps it's naive of me to think such a thing after everything we've been through, but I can't help but wonder what would happen if we gave each other the benefit of the doubt.
