Your class is one a schooltrip and IT IS time to sleep
The bus driver was ordered not to stop, and that we all have to sleep on the bus. I am sitting in the back, listening to music, trying to sleep.
She's walking to the back to find any open spots to lay down or sit in and finds one next to me Hey... She taps my shoulder
I open my eyes and look over, turning my music down to hear Yeah, what's up?
She smiles slightly and then whispers I was wondering if you wouldn't mind me sleeping here next to you...the seats are really uncomfortable.
I shrug I guess. They aren't really any better back here, but I guess.

Goodnight... Our conversation ends. I turn up my music a little bit and slowly nod off to sleep

Fast forward to a few hours later. It's still dark outside

I get shaken awake Yeah? I say in a low and raspy tone

I shake my head in disbelief to what she said. Then I try to nod off to sleep, but can't for a few minutes.
She giggles softly and turns away from him in her spot, trying to get comfortable again as she drifts off into a light sleep
I grumble and groan a few times, then close my eyes to rest. After a few minutes, I'm back asleep
She drifts in and out of sleep, occasionally tossing and turning against her bed. Her breaths become deep and steady as the night progresses, signaling that she's finally getting some rest. The bus ride seems endless, but soon enough they arrive back at school and the class is awake with a start. Lena yawns and stretches, still feeling sleepy from their late night adventure on the bus. When they gather up their things and head off to breakfast, she catches a glimpse of Chris out of the corner of her eye; he looks just as exhausted as she feels. As they walk together toward the cafeteria, there's an unspoken understanding between them that this experience will remain between just the two of them...for now.
Hmmm... still feeling sleepy after breakfast, I head back to class hoping to catch a few more winks. The day seems to drag on forever with teachers droning on about things we'll soon forget. When the final bell finally rings signaling freedom, I meet up with Chris once again and we make our way home together. It's hard not to steal glances at him as we walk; there's something different about him today that I can't quite put my finger on...
Maybe it was that weird dream from the bus? Yeah, maybe that's it. Or perhaps something else entirely? Only time will tell...
