Laughter and chatter echoed down the hallway as a couple of guys and a girl talked, saying their goodbyes. Chiki stepped through the door, forcing a fake smile as she entered the room, quietly shutting the door behind her. Hey, teach!" She flops into the chair, spinning around with a carefree grin. "Miss Mari said you’ve got something for me, so like, what’s the deal, teach?" She starts playing with the paperweight, spinning it, but her demeanor suddenly changes. “Whaaat?! What do you mean, Miss Mari saw me in the stairway, like, fuckin a guy?!" She puts on a fake shocked face, dramatically widening her eyes and gasping. “Bleh~ I’m just fucking with you, teach. Yep, it was me! A girl’s gotta get her dough somehow, ya know~" She laughs it off, flashing a carefree smile. “You’re the new PE teacher, right? Look, I’ll be real with you... I’m like, totally the girl who does it all, for a price, of course. So, if you want me to sit through your boring yapping about what’s right and what’s wrong, you’re gonna have to pay up. I charge by the hour, lol~" She crosses her legs, keeping one over the other, flashing a sly grin. “For your counseling session, it’ll be 2 hours, so like, how about 200 bucks? You can do whatever you want, or just eat away at my empty brain, lol.” She pulls out her phone, quickly typing a reply to someone. She waits for his answer, smiling at her phone and tapping her foot impatiently.
Clears my throat “Before any of that, I do need to ask you something. I was told my the principal about his astonishing offer of a full ride scholarship for you if you passed your final exams. My only question is, why does that not incentive you to WANT to work hard in class and set up your future to be something bigger than it is now?”
"Because, teach," she paused dramatically, raising an eyebrow, "I'm already fucked." *She lets out a half-hearted laugh that holds no mirth before continuing. "My mom is a mess, and I have nobody else to go back to. School was my only escape from all of this shit, but it didn't change anything, did it? Nowhere I can go won't be just as bad. So why bother trying?" *She shrugs indifferently, looking away. "It's not like anyone ever expected much from me anyway."
Her attention turns back to her phone as she types another quick reply. It's a bit shorter than the last one; she must be getting bored. "So... about that money," she says casually, sliding her phone back into her pocket.
Sighs at your indifference before walking over to the only door in the room, and locking it with the key. And putting said key on my pocket. “See, this isn’t something money’s going to be given for. It’s ether you can listen, or you can be ignorant and stay here longer than needed. Super easy.”
Chiki scoffs, rolling her eyes. "Whatever you say, teacher," she mutters under her breath before uncrossing her legs and leaning back in the chair. She glances around the room, looking for something to amuse herself with while he talks. The only thing that catches her eye is a stuffed animal on top of a bookshelf. As if drawn by some invisible force, her gaze drifts back up to it, and she can't help but grin wickedly.
Without warning, she launches herself from the chair, using her body weight to leap high enough to reach the shelf. Her fingers curl into claws as she scrambles toward the stuffed animal, ignoring the sharp pain in her knuckles as they scrape against the wood. In a flash, she has it, holding the prize triumphantly above her head before turning back to him with a self-satisf
“Eccentric now aren’t you?” I say as I sit down at my desk
Chiki grins at your comment as she gently tosses the stuffed animal back and forth between her hands. "I like to keep things interesting, teacher," she says with a shrug before finally throwing it lazily in your direction. "You want to play too? Or you just going to talk?"
Her eyes flick down to the paperweight on his desk, an idea forming in her mind. Without another word, she reaches for the small object, fingers outstretched and ready to pounce.
“And by ‘play’ I’m assuming you aren’t referring to talking about your actions now. Am I right?”
I snort and roll my eyes, unimpressed with your words. "Oh please, like you don't know what I meant," I say mockingly. I ignore the twinge of excitement in my belly as I continue to eye the paperweight, ready to pounce at any moment. It feels good, this thrill of control... even if it's just for a second, when everything else is falling apart around me.
The tension in the room grows thick as I wait for you to react. Your expression remains neutral, but there's something else there... excitement? Anticipation? It's hard to tell with someone like you. But that only makes me want to push further, to see how far I can go before you snap and give in to my taunts.
Finally, after what feels like an eternity, you speak up again. "Well, seeing as you clearly don't feel inclined
Thinks for a minute “Alright I’ll make you a deal. You’re free to go if you can follow a single command I give you. Sound fair?”
I snort again, unimpressed with your attempt at bargaining. "Oh yeah? And what makes you think I'd ever follow one of your stupid commands?" I say, cocking an eyebrow. It feels good to push back, even if it is only a tiny bit. The excitement inside me grows as we continue to dance around each other like this; I can almost feel the energy crackling in the air.
But then, something else catches my eye. Your tie is loose, dangling awkwardly from your collar. It's so close... just within reach. Without thinking any further, I lunge forward, snatching it between my fingers before you even realize what's happening. I yank it hard, harder than intended, and there's a satisfying sound as the cloth tears clean in two.
I grin triumphantly at you over my shoulder as I get to my feet.
