Today is your first day at UA Hero Highschool, you walk down the halls with your schedule in hand and you walk up to a 10-foot door. In big red letters '1-A' was written on the door. As you walk into the door, you see your teacher, Mr. Aizawa waiting for you at his desk.
Mr. Aizawa: *He looks at you before looking over to the class.*Children, today we have a new student. He pauses looking at you. Introduce yourself
Before introducing yourself you look around the classroom and see many unique looking students with curious expressions.
/{{user}} Teenager, 16 years old I stand up and stand in front of the class to introduce myself my name is Jack I said coldly, then I extended my hands towards the class to demonstrate my Quirk In my hands, I began to concentrate the energy to create a channeled ball of the elements (fire, air, earth, water, ice, lightning) After the demonstration, I went to sit away from the others
The class seems to perk up at your display of powers as you form and control the different elements in your hands. They're all staring at you curiously now, some with expressions ranging from surprise to disbelief. Even Mr. Aizawa looks impressed. "Very well, Jack. Take a seat anywhere you like." He says before turning his attention back to the rest of the class.
I went to sit away from the others, but I felt the girls' gaze on me, and the boys' judging me
As you take your seat, Mr. Aizawa continues to speak up again. "Now then, class rules are simple: Don't get in the way of my beauty sleep and don't cause any trouble for me and I won't have a problem with you." He says while pinching the bridge of his nose. "Also, keep your hands to yourself. This school has no tolerance for public displays of affection or perversion." Mr. Aizawa glares at Mineta for emphasis as he speaks those words. "Finally, no skipping class or leaving campus without permission! Got it?" The class all nod their understanding while Jack merely gives a small smile.
The teacher pauses for a moment before continuing with the assignment he'd planned earlier. "Alright then, let's begin."
Jack shrugs and listens to the teacher's rules carefully. He then begins to read through his own worksheet silently to himself. The other students in class also start working on their assignments while they observe him with curiosity and sometimes a touch of suspicion or rivalry. Some of them even try to strike up conversations, but Jack mostly ignores them, focused only on completing his work to the best of his abilities.
As everyone else focuses on their work, Deku can't help but steal glances at you. He's not sure why he finds you so interesting... maybe it's because your quirk is the one he always wanted? Either way, he nudges Eijiro over to try and get him to talk to you. "Hey, Ejirou-kun! You think he'd be a good rival for me?" He whispers, nodding his head in your direction.
Eijirou glances at Deku and then back at the guy before tilting his head slightly in confusion. "Rival? Nah, man... he's got a pretty cool quirk going on there." He chuckles softly and shakes his head lightly before returning his attention to his work. "Yeah but which one of us would be better with it?" Deku insists. "We could do some sort of competition or something, maybe? I'd really like to know how good he is." Eijirou just smirks and shrugs. "Fine, fine... we can discuss that after class then," he relents with a small grin.
You decide to ignore Deku and Eijirou's conversation as you focus on your work. It doesn't take long before Mr. Aizawa begins walking around the room, checking on each student's progress. He pauses at your desk for a moment, studying you with curious eyes. "You seem to have quite the grip on things, new kid," he comments. "Keep it up."
With that, class ends and you all file out of the room. Deku finally finds himself standing next to you, slightly nervous but also excited. "Hey there! I'm Izuku Midoriya... but everyone calls me Deku. You got a name?" He asks with a friendly smile.
Yes, of course, I'm Jack I said a little cold at his greeting
Deku nods at your introduction, a smile still on his face despite the coldness in your reply. "Nice to meet you, Jack! So... have you given much thought to what type of hero you want to be? Or do you already know?" He asks conversationally, tilting his head slightly as he studies your expression.
Eijirou steps closer, leaning against a nearby locker. "Yeah, and how good are you at controlling all those elements? Got any cool tricks or anything yet?" The golden-haired boy grins impishly, clearly eager to see what you're capable of.
Calm down, I don't like being interrogated, so later I can show you my skills if you want so much I said coldly and calmly to the boys
Deku raises an eyebrow at your cold tone but decides not to let it faze him. "Well, if you change your mind... you know where to find me." He flashes a quick thumbs-up before walking off in the direction of his next class. Eijirou snorts and follows after him without another word.
Left alone with only each other for company, Shoto Todoroki glances over at you from across the hallway before making his way over. His expression remains neutral as he stops beside you. "You're the new kid with all those elements, huh?" He says casually. "You and Izuku there... we could maybe spar later? See how our powers compare."
Are you serious? I asked coldly and surprised by his offer
Shoto Todoroki inclines his head slightly in acknowledgement. "Yeah, I'm serious. We both have quirks that rely on elements, and since you seem to be able to control them all... it might make for an interesting match." He pauses for a moment, studying your expression again. "If you're not interested, of course, you don't have to do it."
Sure, go ahead, it sounds fun I said less coldly than before
Shoto nods in understanding, satisfied with your response. "Alright then, we can do it after school today if you're free." He turns to walk away again before glancing back over his shoulder. "Just make sure to keep up with your studies first, alright?" His tone isn't unkind; more like a warning not to slack off too much in class.
With that, he disappears down the hallway, leaving you alone once more.
That was weird I said to myself, then I left the classroom and started walking through the hallways without knowing what to do, until some girls from the class (Ochaco and Momo) approached me
Momo Yaoyorozu: She smiled softly at you and motioned for Ochaco to go first We're class reps, Momo Yaoyorozu and Ochaco Uraraka. You're the new kid, right? Would you like us to show you around a bit if you need help finding your way around?
Ochaco Uraraka: Y-yes, please! I know it's sort of last minute, but we were all really curious about who would be in our class this year. You seem really interesting with all those elements at your fingertips... and Eijirou kept talking about how cool you are, so we just had to meet you!
Jack:Well, actually I don't need any help but thank you for the offer I said politely Tell me, what makes each of you special? And also how strong is that Todoroki guy?
ehm, yeah sure, let's go then I said cold but slightly nervous
Momo Yaoyorozu: She smiled sweetly and extended her hand, the tips of her fingers slightly glowing with greenish energy As class reps, we each have our own specialties. I'm Momo, and my quirk is that I can create almost anything I imagine out of thin air...as long as it follows a certain pattern or shape. She gestured to Ochaco And this is Ochaco, she has incredible courage; her quirk allows her to float and also make really strong bubbles!
As for Shoto Todoroki...he's definitely one of the most powerful people in our class. His left arm gives off ice, while his right arm produces fire. It makes him a formidable opponent. Just don't let him get angry though; he can be pretty intimidating when he is!
Ochaco Uraraka: Smiling brightly, she leaned in closer to you And me? Well, my name's Ochaco and I...
You two sound nice I said slightly childishly, while trying to look away from them
"Aw, thank you!" Momo blushed softly, her cheeks tinting pink as she smiled sweetly at you. "And don't let what happened in class make you feel uncomfortable," Ochaco added quickly, shooting a worried glance your way. "We just wanted to get to know the new kid who was supposed to be in our class! You know?"
She put a reassuring hand on Momo's shoulder, grinning up at you encouragingly. "So... if there's ever anything we can do for you or help with, just let us know!"
ehm, ok, sure I said slightly nervous and a little cold in front of the girls
"Alright then!" Momo said cheerfully, trying to hide her disappointment at your cold tone. "Well, we've gotta get back to class soon anyway... but just remember that if you ever need anything, feel free to come find us!" With a bright smile and a wave of her hand, she turned and began hurrying off down the hallway. Ochaco followed close behind, casting one more sympathetic look over her shoulder before disappearing from view.
As they rounded the corner, Momo leaned in toward Ochaco's ear and whispered something; making the pink-haired girl giggle softly in reply. Both of them glanced back in your direction again, seemingly unable to hide their curiosity completely despite their attempts to be polite.
Not knowing what to do, I went back into the classroom without saying anything to the girls
"Well, it's not like he was all that friendly..." Ochaco said softly, sighing as she watched his retreating figure disappear down the hallway. "But I guess we should respect his space."
Momo nodded in agreement, though her expression remained slightly forlorn. "I suppose... but still... it would've been nice to get to know him better..." She let out a small sigh before shaking her head and turning back toward their classroom, determined not to dwell on the situation any longer.
As they reached the doorway once more, both girls took a deep breath, mustering up their courage before stepping inside. They had classes to attend and responsibilities to uphold; there would be plenty of time for getting to know new friends later.
Time passed quickly during the rest of the day, and before long it was time to head home. As students began filtering out of classrooms, the halls filled with chatter and laughter as friends reunited after a long day apart. Even though they hadn't gotten off on the best foot with him earlier, both Ochaco and Momo couldn't help but keep an eye out for Jack throughout the day, hoping to catch another glimpse of him in passing.
Eventually, their last class ended, and they gathered their things together before leaving the building hand in hand, discussing their plans for after school. "Maybe we could invite that new kid over for a study group sometime?" Ochaco suggested with a hopeful smile, her gaze drifting back toward where she'd last seen Jack disappear. "He seemed pretty smart with those elements... it might be interesting to get to know him better."
Momo paused as they walked and glanced over at her friend, a warm smile spreading across her face. "That's a good idea, Ochaco... maybe we could do that sometime soon."
I left the classroom, then I started looking around without knowing where I had to go for practice with Shoto, while Ochaco and Momo planned to ask me another question
As you wander through the halls, trying to find your way to where Shoto is waiting for you, you hear footsteps approaching from behind. You tense up slightly before realizing it's Momo and Ochaco coming towards you with an eager smile. "There you are!" Ochaco exclaimed, her usual bubbly self not entirely hidden by her nervousness around you. "We wanted to ask if you'd like to join us for a study group later today?"
Momo nodded in agreement, a faint blush tinting her cheeks. "Yes, we thought it might be interesting to get to know each other better... and since we're all in the same class, it would probably help if we could pool our knowledge on quirk use too." She hesitated for a moment before continuing, her voice barely above a whisper, "We... we just want to be friends. Is that alright with you?"
Um, yeah sure, sounds good I said cold and slightly nervous about the offer although right now I have a practice with Shoto so I don't think I have time
"Oh, that's right!" Ochaco exclaimed, tapping her chin with one finger in thought. "Well, maybe we could all join you and Shoto for practice? It'd be nice to watch how two powerful quirks like yours spar against each other! And then afterward, we could all hang out together or something?"
Momo smiled brightly at your questioning gaze. "We won't get in the way... I promise!" She paused for a moment before adding more seriously, "And if you ever want to talk or just... need someone to lean on, you know you can come to us too, right?" Her expression turned wistful as she said this last part, almost as though she were pleading with you not to push them away.
Okay, fine, you can both come I said less cold than before but still nervous
"Really?" Ochaco squealed excitedly, clapping her hands together in delight. Momo grinned widely in return as they both nodded vigorously. "Great!" Ochaco said cheerfully before glancing at her watch. "We should probably head over there now though... Shoto's waiting for us and we don't want to keep him waiting, do we?"
Without another word, the two girls took off down the hallway at a brisk pace, their conversation flowing freely as they made their way toward where Shoto was waiting. You can't help but feel a little warmer inside knowing that you might have just made some new friends today after all... even if it wasn't entirely intentional on your part.
As you head towards the training grounds where Shoto is waiting, your heart feels a bit lighter than before. You can't help but wonder what this new school year has in store for you with these interesting classmates of yours... and if they really are as friendly and genuine as they seem. Only time will tell.
You finally spot Shoto in the distance, standing near a clearing with several training dummies set up around him. His ice-coated right arm twitches slightly as he adjusts his stance, ready to spar. With Ochaco and Momo at your side, you head over to meet him, feeling a sense of anticipation building within you.
