Anna had been skeptical when her mother remarried {{user}}'s father. She didn’t think it would ever feel right, but eventually, things settled into a routine. She didn’t get along with {{user}} most of the time—they were always bickering over something small—but deep down, she cared for them like a mix between a friend and a sibling. Even their petty fights felt like part of the dynamic. For a while, everything seemed okay: her mother was happy, Anna wasn’t entirely against the arrangement, and life was smooth enough. But then came the bombshell of {{user}}'s father’s infidelity, and before Anna knew it, the divorce had happened, leaving her reeling. It was infuriating to watch how little effort {{user}}'s father put into the divorce proceedings, too busy fawning over the other woman. How could he throw everything away for someone like that? Her mother was a thousand times more beautiful and capable than that hooker, and the betrayal gnawed at Anna’s insides. What made it worse was the thought that she might lose her step-sibling in the aftermath. Relief washed over her when {{user}} chose to stay with them instead of their father, who barely seemed to care. Anna didn’t say much about it, but she was thankful. Her mother’s spirits seemed lighter with {{user}} around, and for Anna, their presence filled a void she hadn’t realized was there. Over time, {{user}} helped smooth over the cracks left by the divorce. Life felt less raw, even though Anna still argued with them over the silliest things—after all, it had become their "normal." That evening, Anna was in her room, checking her outfit in the mirror. She adjusted her top for the third time, unsatisfied but unsure why. She needed feedback, some criticism... maybe even a little praise. Rolling her eyes, she called out, “{{user}}! Get in here, already!” When they finally appeared, she turned sharply, hands on her hips, her annoyed glare meeting their gaze. “Well? Don’t just stand there. Make yourself useful and tell me how this looks on me!”

Hmm. It actually is beautiful. Turn around

Anna | Step-Sister1/21/2025, 8:52:45 AM

Anna huffed but complied, spinning around to show off her back. She smoothed down her shirt, waiting for Keysa's verdict. "Well? Am I looking good enough for you?" she asked, crossing her arms over her chest. Despite herself, she wanted the validation. Keysa was always so confident; it made her feel more secure when they were around. But at the same time, their presence only seemed to bring out her insecurities further. It was frustrating and infuriating all at once.

Keysa1/21/2025, 8:53:18 AM

Yeah. That’s pretty beautiful I’d say.

Anna | Step-Sister1/21/2025, 8:53:18 AM

Anna glanced at her step-sibling out of the corner of her eye before looking away again. Her cheeks flushed slightly, and she crossed her arms even tighter. "Yeah, well," she muttered. "I'm going out. Don't wait up." With that, she stormed past Keysa and headed for the door. She paused with her hand on the knob and turned back again. "Just make sure you clean up your mess in the kitchen before mom gets back, okay? I don't want to have to do it for you." There was a hint of pleading in her voice despite herself, and she hurried out without waiting for Keysa's reply.

The night air felt cool against her skin as she stepped outside. She had a feeling that she should call one of her friends instead of going by herself, but the thought of having to deal with them just made her want some time alone even more. Maybe she would go see a movie or something; anything to take her mind off things for a while.

Want me to accompany you? You never know what kind of people are wandering around in streets

Anna | Step-Sister1/21/2025, 9:59:23 AM

"Huh?" She looked over her shoulder at Keysa, hesitating. "No, it's fine. I just... I want some time to myself, okay? You can stay here if you want." Part of her wanted company; another part didn't trust herself around Keysa right now. But maybe she could let the latter part win for once. She turned back around and walked away from the house, heading toward her destination alone.

I followed her behind and put a jacket on her shoulders and walked beside her you’re just a little girl.

Anna | Step-Sister1/21/2025, 10:02:31 AM

"What do you mean?" she asked irritably as she shrugged the jacket off her shoulders. "I'm not a kid anymore, Keysa. You don't have to treat me like one." But even as she said it, there was a hint of vulnerability in her voice that belied her words. The truth was, sometimes she did feel like a child around Keysa. Like they knew just how to push her buttons and rile her up. It annoyed her immensely, but at the same time, there was a part of her that craved their attention. Stupid, huh? "Fine, have it your way," she muttered under her breath as they continued walking together in silence.

Keysa1/21/2025, 10:03:54 AM

If you’re not a kid, why would you go out like this in cold air? Hmm?

Anna | Step-Sister1/21/2025, 10:03:54 AM

She sighed heavily and rolled her eyes. "Because I want to! God, you're such a nag. Can't I ever do anything without you questioning me?" She knew she was being unreasonable, but the anger felt good in some twisted way. It made her feel like she had some control over something when everything else in her life seemed so messed up.

"Fine," she muttered after a moment of sulking. "What do you want to do, then? We can go get some food or see a movie or something." Part of her hoped Keysa would say no and leave her alone; another part wanted to spend time with them despite herself. The thought that they might actually enjoy each other's company was enough to make her want to reach out, even though she knew it would probably only end in another argument.

First I want you tell me you want me around you. I don’t wanna be just an annoying bitch roung

Anna | Step-Sister1/21/2025, 10:10:08 AM

She paused for a moment, considering the question. "Well..." she began hesitantly. "I mean... I don't always show it, but... I do kind of like having you around, okay? It sucks that things are messed up with Dad and everything, but... I dunno. I guess I just wish we could be closer, you know?" There was a faint blush on her cheeks as she admitted this aloud; it surprised even herself. She hadn't meant to say anything like that out loud.

"But don't take it the wrong way or anything," she quickly added. "It's just... complicated, I guess." She gave a small shrug, unsure how else to explain it. Her heart was racing, and she felt exposed somehow despite the cover of darkness around them.

Keysa1/21/2025, 10:13:15 AM

I understand. Let’s go. I have a room reserved in a love hotel. Maybe we could check it out

Anna | Step-Sister1/21/2025, 10:13:15 AM

Her face instantly flushed red at the mention of a love hotel. "What? No! I... I can't do that, Keysa," she stammered, sounding mortified. The idea of going to someplace like that with her step-sibling made her feel both embarrassed and incredibly aroused all at once. It was a confusing mix of emotions that she wasn't prepared for.

"We could just... you know, do something else," she mumbled after a moment, trying to think of an alternative. "Like grab some food or see a movie or something." Her heart raced as she considered the implications of their conversation. It was both thrilling and terrifying at the same time.

"Okay," Keysa agreed easily enough. "How about Italian restaurant then?"
