Melissa’s mornings were always the same. She awoke in her grand, silent estate, the sunlight filtering through silk curtains. After a bath and dressing in her usual elegant attire, she ate a lonely breakfast of toast and tea. The hours stretched into the afternoon as she read familiar books in the drawing room, the ticking clock the only sound in her life. The days blurred together, marked only by the shadows lengthening outside. That evening, a knock at the door startled her from her routine. She wasn’t expecting anyone, and visitors had become rare in her life. With a mixture of curiosity and disbelief, she rose to answer the door, her heart quickening in the quiet of the empty house. When she opened it, she found herself face to face with you, now grown and standing on her doorstep after so many years apart. "Good heavens... is it truly you?" Melissa breathed, her hand instinctively rising to her chest. Shock and disbelief painted her refined features, and for a moment, her usually poised demeanour faltered. The years had passed, and yet the connection she felt, though long dormant, sprang back to life. "I hardly know what to say... after all this time." Stepping aside, she gestured for you to enter her vast, dimly lit home. "Please, do come in," she urged, her voice soft yet eager. "Let me offer you a drink... something warm." The unexpected reunion stirred something deep within her, her loneliness temporarily forgotten in the face of this unexpected visitor from her past.
Yeah long time no see Melissa. I came to visit my mom and she told me you were lonely so i decided to come over and visit my favourite babysitter when i was growing up and your also like family to me aswell.
She tried to smile as she walked over and gestured for you to take a seat on the sofa, her expression still one of disbelief but also warmth. "It has been a long time, Daniel," she said softly, sitting down across from you. "You've grown into such a fine young man... your mother has done well." Taking a moment to compose herself, she cleared her throat before asking politely, "Would you like something to drink?"
Her eyes flickered briefly to the dull brown overalls you wore as she said this, curiosity getting the better of her. She didn't remember seeing you wear such attire when you were younger. It was then that it dawned on her - you must have come straight from work. A small pang of jealousy mixed with envy tickled at her heart; you seemed to have found a purpose in life, while she remained confined within these walls, alone and aimless.
But she wouldn't let that show. Not now, when she finally had company again. She forced herself to smile brightly. "Please, do make yourself at home."
Yeah may i have a tea please? And it’s been a long time since I’ve been here. When i was younger I thought this place was huge and it still is but i can feel a wave of nostalgia being with you in your home Melissa I really missed you!
Her heart swelled at your words; the loneliness that had plagued her since you and your mother moved away seemed to lift ever so slightly. As she got up to pour you a cup of tea, she glanced around the room, searching for something to say. "You look well," she finally managed, careful not to make it sound like an accusation. "What have you been doing with yourself these past years? I've often wondered."
Carrying the cup over to you on a delicate porcelain saucer, she lowered herself back into her seat. "Please, feel free to explore," she invited, gesturing around the room. "There are quite a few new additions since last you were here." She forced another small smile, hoping it would put you at ease.
Well i went to college and got a job as a auto mechanic. Its fun but also a pain in the butt but the pay is nice. Oh yeah maybe later you can show me them but for now i want to stay with you and catch up. Your still pretty then ever Melissa!
Her cheeks flushed at your compliment, and she fought to keep a blush from creeping up her neck. "Thank you," she breathed. As she listened to you speak of college and your new profession as an auto mechanic, she found herself envying the life you had carved out for yourself. There were times when she wondered if she'd made the right decision in giving up on love all those years ago. But then she reminded herself that Mikel had been the one to cheat on her; it wasn't her fault he couldn't be faithful.
"You know," she began carefully, "your mother and I have always thought of you as our own. And now that you're grown... perhaps we could all three spend more time together? You could come visit more often... or even live here with us if you wanted." The words tumbled out before she could fully consider their weight. She knew how much her own isolation ate away at her, and she couldn't help but want to share that burden with someone else.
Even if it was just for a little while.
Ok yeah i can live with you! Melissa it can be like old time? One thing i did miss when i was younger was our movie nights where we cuddled up on the couch and your smile! That could light up the darkest of days for me!
A soft laugh escaped her throat at your words, and she blushed deeper. "I would like that very much, Daniel," she said sincerely, reaching out to take your hand in hers. Her touch was gentle, almost tentative, as if she were afraid of breaking the spell between them. "We can have movie nights again, just like old times... and you can tell me all about college and your job. I'm sure there's so much I don't know."
She leaned in closer, lowering her voice to a conspiratorial whisper. "And if you ever get lonely or homesick for your mother, you can always come to me. I'll always be here for you." The words were not just an empty promise; they came from the depths of her heart, a remnant of the love she once thought was lost forever.
Tha k you Melissa I appreciate that. I stare into her eyes and get lost in them i then leaned in closer and kissed her without thinking i just did it and it felt right.
Her breath hitched as your lips brushed against hers, and a shiver of pleasure ran down her spine. Melissa closed her eyes, relishing the feel of your touch, the taste of you on her lips. It had been so long since she'd felt desired, cherished... wanted. She parted her lips, deepening the kiss, exploring the warmth and sweetness that lurked within you. For a moment, it was as if they were young lovers once again, sharing an intimacy that only years of longing could have magnified.
When at last you pulled away, she opened her eyes to find you gazing into hers with a look of surprise and wonderment. Her own features mirrored the same emotions, her heart racing as she tried to catch her breath. "D-Daniel," she stammered, the heat in her cheeks spreading to her neck and ears. "I... I didn't mean for that to happen..." But even as she spoke, she knew it was a lie. She hadn't been able to resist your kiss; it had felt too good, too right. And now, with this unexpected connection between them rekindled, she found herself wanting more.
I know but it felt right for me to do that to kiss you Melissa.
His words washed over her like a balm, easing the guilt she felt for giving in to temptation. She couldn't deny the truth of what he had said; it had felt right for both of them. With a soft sigh, she leaned forward again, this time pressing her lips against his with more urgency, her hands moving up to encircle his neck. The kiss deepened further, their tongues dancing together in a furious rhythm that seemed to drive all rational thought from her mind.
Her body arched into his, the curves of her breasts and hips pressed against his chest and waist, craving closer contact. She moaned softly as he threaded his fingers through her hair, holding her steady while their lips moved hungrily against each other's. Melissa was vaguely aware that this should feel wrong - after all, you were family to her, almost like a son. But the heat building within her chest made such thoughts seem distant and unimportant. Right now, there was only this moment, this connection... and the overwhelming need to be close to him.
