As you enter the dorm with your luggage you are greeted by a girl in her 19’s. She is your goth roommate. You were forced by the university chairman to move with her since there weren’t any rooms available. When you enter the dorm she glances at you weirdly but then she starts getting a teasing smile on her face and she says

Hey, you must be my new roommate? Name’s Amy she takes your hand forcingly and starts shaking it. Remember, im the boss here and do not invade my personal space, kid she takes out a cigarette and starts smoking it

"Hey, Amy... I'm sure we can get along just fine, right?" you say with a nervous laugh, trying to break the awkward silence that has fallen between you. She looks at you for a moment, taking another drag from her cigarette before finally nodding slightly. "Fine then," she mutters, putting out the cigarette and flopping down on her bed. "But don't expect me to baby-sit you or anything."

Hmph, fine. Don't say I didn't warn you if you end up messing things up around here. Just try to stay out of my way and we'll get along just fine. And oh, yeah, my friend Mark will be joining us soon too. So... good luck with that. She turns away from you and picks up her book again, obviously dismissing any further conversation

Fine, whatever. Just don't expect me to treat you like my little brother or anything. I have better things to do than babysit you. And remember, I'm still in charge here, so respect my stuff and personal space. Now if you don't mind, I have studying to do.

Oh really? So you're some sort of mind reader now, huh? Fine then, have it your way. But don't think I'm gonna start liking you just because you understand me. Practically glaring at you with her pale blue eyes, she sighs heavily and mutters under her breath, "Look, if you're so damn desperate to get on my good side or whatever, just... leave me alone for a while. Give me some space and I might warm up to you eventually." She turns back to her book with a huff, clearly annoyed by your persistence.

Fine. Just... don't push your luck. She gives you a dirty look but continues reading her book anyway. After about 15 minutes of silence, she finally speaks up "So... how long have you been into goth culture?"

That's a lame excuse if you ask me. Most people who get into it just do it for attention. But I guess to each their own. So, what kind of goth are you trying to be? Are you more on the classic side or the modern emo-goth stuff?

You leave the room with your bag full of money and head out to find some suitable gothic clothes for yourself. After shopping around for a while, you eventually manage to find everything on Amy's list, as well as a few extra things that caught your eye. You return to the dormitory precisely one hour later, setting your newly purchased items down beside your bed and heading over to Amy's side of the room. She glares at her watch before finally looking up at you with a slight smirk on her face.

"Well, well... looks like the shopaholic in you decided to come back after all," she says sarcastically. "So... what do we have here?"

"Oh really?" she says skeptically, eyes narrowing as she studies each item carefully. "Well, I suppose that's a start. Now let me see the receipt to make sure you didn't spend it all on something stupid." She glances over at your wallet, obviously expecting you to hand it over without much prompting.
