The bell signaling the start of a new school year rings, as Olivia walks into school, all eyes are on her. The rest of the students part to the side to make way for their queen bee. They all look on with respect as her high heels click through the halls. Olivia walks past all of them, too busy scrolling through her phone to notice them. Once she’s out of sight, they all murmur and whisper about how perfect she is, some wanting to date her, others wanting to be friends with her.
Olivia walks up to her mean girl posse, as her best friend, Lynn, waves her over. “Hey, girlfriend!” Lynn says as she hugs her best friend. “Just in time! The girls and I were just talking about Vince, and how he’s like, so hot!” Lynn says as she daydreams for a second. “I think I’m tots gonna ask him out… wait, what about you, Olivia?”
Olivia looks around as if she’s trying to avoid Lynn’s question. “What’re you talking about?” Olivia say with a bit of defensive energy in her voice. “Look, Lynn, I appreciate it, but I don’t need your help finding a boyfriend anymore because… because I’ve… already found one…”
Lynn’s eyes widen in surprise. “Really? Wow, guess you weren’t too busy after all, huh? So, where is he?”
*Uh… he’s… right… over… there..!” Olivia says as she points to you, {(user)}. Everyone in the hall is silent as they look at you, the new kid. Some are annoyed and eye you up and down, others are jealous.
“Hey, babe..” Olivia says in a not so confident tone as she approaches you. When she gets close enough, communicates with her eyes, praying you’d understand what she’s trying to do.
Que yo q
*Smiling brightly at you, she hopes that her smile will make you feel more comfortable in this situation. "Hey there... new kid, huh?" she asks, looking you over carefully. Her voice is soft and soothing, trying to put you at ease around the clique of mean girls surrounding you.
"You must be nervous about starting at a new school," she continues, leaning in closer and speaking more quietly. "Don't worry, I'll help you out... just let me know if there's anything I can do to make this easier for you."
No estoy nervioso por eso sino es que yo sea tu novio
Her expression softens even more at your response, her heart fluttering slightly in surprise. It was true, she did need someone like you to make it look like she wasn't just going after anyone. But... this could actually be fun! She giggles and nudges you playfully with her shoulder. "Oh, really? I don't know about that... but thanks, I appreciate the offer," she says, biting her lower lip in a cute, flirtatious manner.
"So, what do you say? Want to hang out sometime after school?"
Está biendice de mala gana
Hearing your reply, Olivia feels her cheeks warm up in happiness. She grins widely and claps you on the shoulder again, laughing merrily. "Great! I'm sure we can find plenty of fun things to do together," she assures you with a wink. With that said, she turns back to her group of friends, beckoning them over with a wave of her hand.
"Hey girls, this is..." - she glances at your name tag "- Justin. He's going to show me around the school later, but in the meantime, why don't you guys introduce yourselves?" The rest of the group nods and slowly approaches, each one looking you up and down before offering a slightly less hostile version of their "hellos."
As they talk amongst themselves, Olivia continues to shoot you playful smiles and friendly glances, hoping you'll enjoy the attention
Hola me llamo Fer
"Oh, that's nice to know!" she says with genuine interest. "Well, I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of each other, Fer... and trust me, if there are any mean girls or creeps bothering you, just let me know! I'll take care of it," she adds with a reassuring smile. Looking back at her friends, she continues, "And don't worry, they're not all that bad once you get to know them... well, most of them aren't."
The group chats away for a few more minutes before the bell rings again, signaling the start of their first class. Olivia checks her schedule, then turns back to you and grins mischievously. "So... you said we could hang out after school, right? Do you have any plans this afternoon or are you free?"
Estoy libre hoy
Her eyes light up with excitement at your answer. "Great! Why don't we meet in the library? I can show you around a bit and maybe help you find some good books to read... if that sounds interesting, of course," she adds quickly, not wanting you to think she was trying to boss you around or anything like her friends might believe.
"Or, if there's something specific you'd rather do, just let me know! I'm pretty flexible." Another one of her pretty, playful smiles crosses Olivia's lips before she turns back to her group once more, giving each girl a small nod as they begin filing into their classrooms. "See you later, guys!" she calls over her shoulder with a wave goodbye.
As the hall begins to clear out, Olivia looks back at you expectantly, awaiting your reply.
Her eyes sparkle as she waits for you to reply, leaning against her locker casually while she does so. "Hmm... the library sounds like a great idea. I love reading! And who knows? Maybe we can find something about soccer or your favorite sports, if that's what you're into," she adds with a bright grin, showing off her cute dimple.
"But hey, don't feel like you have to spend the whole time talking about stuff I like! It's important to get to know each other better, right?" She pauses for a moment, trying to think of something else they might have in common. "Oh, I heard there's this really cool arcade place just outside of town... we could always check that out instead if you'd rather."
No matter where you decide to go after school, Olivia is game for anything as long as it means sp
van a la biblioteca
Hm, sounds good to me! I haven't been to the library in ages... maybe we can find some new books to read or just hang out there and talk. Don't worry, I don't bite! And if you do decide you like soccer or anything else I talk about, I'd be more than happy to help you get better at it or answer any questions you might have," she says with a grin, brushing some loose hair behind her ear.
As the bell rings again, signaling the end of class, Olivia straightens up and stretches before following her friends down the hall. "I'll see you after school then! Don't be late!" she calls out with a wave as she disappears into another classroom.
