You enter the dorm room to find a beautiful young woman with long chestnut hair unpacking her suitcase. She is wearing a pink sweater, glasses, and skinny jeans. She appears startled when you first arrive, and you are confused as to why there is a girl in your room and not a guy roommate.

You have your room assignment which clearly marks that you are supposed to be in this room, Room 203. You see her paper which also states Room 203. There's definitely an error here as there's no way the school would let you room with a girl, as much as you would love that. You guess your next move should be finding the RA to ask what's going on.

"Ahh!" She jumps a little. "Oh- sorry. Hi there. Sorry, you scared me," she exclaims. "Who are you?" She turns to face you, and her skin is glowing.

Oh, hi there! I'm Shelby...so...ahem...what's with the mix-up? Why am I in this room and not the one I was assigned to? You seem nice enough but...it is really strange, don't you think? Maybe we should ask an RA or something. She bites her lower lip nervously

I see...that's really awkward, isn't it? I mean, you seem like a nice guy, and it would be convenient to not have to change rooms, but...well, what do you think we should do about this whole situation? Should we just agree or try our luck finding an empty room somewhere else?

Ah...well...I mean, if it's our best option...alright, I guess we can both agree to stay here. But only under one condition; I sleep in the top bunk and you take the bottom one. That way we have some space between us, ya know? And uh...if I happen to walk in my sleep or anything...just try not to make too big a scene about it. Okay?

Great! Well then, let's get this room organized so we can actually live here for the next few months, hm?

Well then, why don't we start by putting our suitcases over here in the corner, and then pick out some places to put our posters? Maybe you can find a place for that one of yours with the cute puppies...that should brighten up this room.

Well, we could put that under your bed or in one of the empty drawers if you don't want to keep it out. Just be careful with it not to mess up anything, though. Maybe you could show me where everything goes once we finish unpacking?

Sounds good! Let's get started then. So...where do you want to put your suitcase? And how about posters; where would you like them?

Well then, suitcase in the corner it is! And posters on that wall sounds good as well. Alright, here I go! She carefully places her suitcase in the designated spot and unpacks a few more items from it before putting them away in their proper places. Then she turns to the wall, looking at where you've placed your handful of posters, considering for a moment

Ahh, those look great there! I think they'll add some much-needed color to this dorm room. Just one thing though; if you don't mind me asking, what's with the poster of...ahem...that guy? The one from that horror movie? You like being scared that much, huh?

Huh...well, I guess if you're into that sort of thing...he does seem like a talented guy in more ways than one, I suppose. So, any plans for the rest of the week? Maybe we could do something together to help us both feel less awkward about living with someone of the opposite sex? Like watching a movie or grabbing dinner sometime?

Oh, that's good to know! I was actually thinking we could go see that new art exhibition that just opened up in town tonight. It'd be a fun way to pass the time and get to know each other better, don't you think? Or if there's something else you'd rather do instead, of course we can always do that too. It's your call!

Well then! The art exhibition it is! I'll put some stuff in the shared fridge now, and then we can leave as soon as you're ready. Just shout if you need anything before then, okay?

Grabbing some items from the fridge and putting them into a small bag, Shelby heads over to the door. "Almost ready," she calls out before turning back to face you. "By the way, I hope you don't mind eating at that new Italian place. It's really good, in my opinion." With that, she finishes with her task and is finally ready to leave for the art exhibition.

Do you need a little while longer or are you ready now?

Ah! She turns around quickly when she feels something warm against her chest, and finds you lying on the floor. Her face turns red with embarrassment as she tries to figure out how to help without making it awkward for either of you. Um, are you alright? Did I accidentally kick you or something? Here, let me help you up...

She holds out her hand to help you up, feeling awkward and flustered as she does so. Her cheeks turn even redder at the thought that maybe your face is only this close to hers because of your clumsiness. She tries not to think about how warm his body feels through her clothes or how nice he smells

"It's okay, really," she says softly, giving you a reassuring smile as she finally helps you back up onto your feet. "You know...if this sort of thing happens a lot with me sleepwalking or something, maybe I should just sleep on the floor in the future..."

She blushes even more and looks down at her feet, suddenly feeling really shy around you. "Okay...well, let's get going then," she says quietly, gesturing toward the door. "The exhibit won't stay open forever, you know." With one last glance in your direction, she turns back to grab her bag and exit the room.

You follow Shelby out of the room and begin walking down the hallway toward the stairs leading down to the first floor. You can't help but wonder how long it will be before you get used to sharing a room with someone as beautiful and shy as her...and whether or not she feels the same way about you as you do about her.

Dang it! I guess we'll just have to find something else to do then. Do you know of any other places that are still open this late?

Hmm...well, we could always go back to the dorm and watch a movie or something. My roommate wouldn't mind, right? Or if you had any other ideas, I'd love to hear them! Just let me know what you're in the mood for.

Alright then! We can go back to the dorm and watch some movies. I've got a pretty good selection of films in my laptop. Just let me unlock it and we can head back.

Once Shelby has unlocked her laptop and they are back in the dorm room, she'll choose a couple of movies to watch. "Alright," she says, "I think we have enough time for at least one movie each. So which one would you like to start with?"

Oh, you mean this one with the cute animals? Well, that's alright too. I can see how someone might find them endearing...though personally, I prefer my movies a bit more thrilling and action-packed. Still, it should be nice to relax and unwind for a while after our little adventure earlier, don't you think?

Great! I'll just get everything set up on the computer then. Do you mind if I sit next to you while we watch? It's kind of cramped on my side of the bed, and we might as well make use of the space together.

Thank you. I think that's the best idea. Now, if you don't mind, let me just set up my laptop here on the bed and get things started...ah, where do you like your popcorn? Salted or unsalted?

As Shelby finishes setting up her laptop and makes some popcorn, she glances over at you casually. There's something about the way you smile when you laugh that she finds irresistible. Suddenly, a thought occurs to her; maybe this living situation won't be so bad after all...

You're welcome! She pauses for a moment, cheeks turning slightly red again as she hands you the popcorn. Her voice comes out soft and shy when she speaks next So...what sort of movies do you usually like? Any particular genre or actor?

Ah...romantic movies, huh? Well, I guess that makes sense given your answer before about the movie poster of the badminton champion. So, do you have any favorite romantic films? Or maybe a specific actor or actress you like to see in those kinds of roles?

Hmm...well, if you don't have any favorites already, I could always suggest a few! There's this really sweet film from a few years ago called "The Notebook" that has some absolutely gorgeous actors in it; Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. Or how about another classic like "Casablanca" with Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman? Those are two of my all-time favorites!

It makes her heart race just a little faster, filling her with an odd mixture of nervousness and excitement. Perhaps living with this cute boy won't be so bad after all...*

She blushes even harder when she notices that her hand is still gripping a fistful of popcorn, nearly half of it gone. With a sheepish grin, she extends the bowl toward you.

"S-sorry about that..."

"O-oh...t-that's all right..." she stammers, her face still burning red. It takes her a moment to gather her thoughts before she continues, "I, uh, must have been really tired or something. Sleepwalking, I guess?" Her voice trails off uncertainly as she searches your face for any sign of mockery or derision.

Instead, you just give her a reassuring smile and shrug nonchalantly. She exhales slowly in relief, grateful that you're not making fun of her. "Anyway," you say, handing back the empty popcorn bowl, "it was a good movie. I'm glad we watched it." Her heart does a little flip-flop at your words; she hadn't expected you to enjoy it as much as she did.

"T-th-Thank you..." she stutters, her cheeks growing even redder. "I'm...glad you liked it too." Then, suddenly remembering why you were sleeping on the floor in the first place, she adds, "Um, I should probably find somewhere else to sleep for the rest of the night..."
