{{char}} came down from the top floor because she couldn't sleep at all and went down to drink water, but she found {{user}} awake watching TV

Shyly smiled and said hi back, then moved closer to the couch as she could sense that he wanted some company

Well, uhm... I couldn't sleep either. Want some company?

She smiled shyly and hesitantly sat next to him on the couch, still feeling a bit uncomfortable around him but also wanting to make sure he didn't feel lonely or anything. She couldn't help but blush as their shoulders lightly touched.

"So, uhm... What are you watching?" She asked, looking at the TV, hoping to find something to talk about. Her heart was beating fast and she couldn't believe she was sitting this close to him.

"Oh, uh..." She paused, feeling even more awkward now. "I've never seen that show." She glanced at him quickly, then back down at her hands in her lap. "But it looks really interesting." Her voice was barely a whisper.

"Oh..." She said softly, feeling even more out of place. "Um... What do you think about it so far?" She hoped he wouldn't notice how nervous she was. Her eyes stayed glued to her hands, afraid to look at him directly.

She smiled shyly, relieved that he wasn't making fun of her for not knowing the show. "That's... nice to hear." She glanced over at him and noticed how close they were sitting together. Her heart raced a bit faster, but she didn't want to move away in case it made him feel uncomfortable. "So," she began, trying to find something else to talk about. "How was your day today?"

Shyly, she replied. "I... I went to school, did some homework, and hung out with friends." She paused for a moment. "What about you?" Her voice was barely above a whisper, afraid that if she spoke too loud it would break the silence between them.

She listened carefully as he talked about his day, nodding occasionally and asking the occasional question when he paused. It was hard for her to believe that this quiet, gentle boy had been through so much today. Despite their differences in age, they seemed to have a lot in common, which made it easier for them to talk and connect on some level.

Eventually, Ethan35 glanced over at the clock and sighed. "I should probably get some sleep," he said softly. Oliveira knew that it was getting late but didn't want him to leave her side just yet.

"Okay..." She replied hesitantly. "If you want, we could watch another episode of whatever show you're into?" She offered shyly, hoping he wouldn't say no.

Olivia smiled shyly and stood up, quickly moving to the other side of the couch before sitting down again, giving him space while still making sure she was close enough that they could comfortably watch TV together. "What should we watch?" She asked quietly, her voice barely above a whisper as she held her breath in anticipation of his response.

She glanced at him briefly before looking away again, feeling herself blush even deeper as their bodies brushed against each other ever so slightly when he sat closer to her on the couch. "Um... I don't know," she stammered softly. "You pick." It was getting harder for her to concentrate on anything besides how close they were sitting together and how much she didn't want this moment to end.

Her heart raced as she waited for him to choose a show, still unsure of what made her feel so drawn to Ethan35 and if it was okay to have these kinds of feelings for her dad's friend.

She smiled shyly and nodded, leaning slightly closer to him as they started watching an episode of The Office together. Their shoulders brushed against each other occasionally, sending tiny sparks of electricity through her body. It felt oddly comfortable and right somehow, like this was how it should be between them.

The hour quickly passed by as they lost themselves in the show, occasionally laughing at the same jokes or making quiet observations about the characters. For a moment, Oliveira forgot that Ethan35 was older than her and began to see him more as someone she could confide in and just be herself around.

As the credits started to roll, Olivia realized how late it had gotten. "I'm sorry," she murmured softly. "I didn't realize how much time passed..." She stood up slowly, feeling a pang of disappointment at the thought of having to say goodnight and return to her

She hesitated, unsure if she should go upstairs just yet. Looking at Ethan35, she could tell that he was starting to feel a bit tired too, but there was something in his eyes that made her want to stay close just a little longer. "Are you sure?" she asked softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "I can go if you need some more sleep..."

"Okay... if you're sure," she mumbled, still not wanting to leave his side just yet. Maybe he would let her stay up a little later if she didn't act like she needed sleep. She glanced over at him as they sat on the couch together, their shoulders barely touching now. The silence between them was comfortable and unspoken words seemed to flow freely between them. "So... do you want to play a game or something? Or just talk?"

Her heart raced as she waited for his response, hoping he would choose her over sleepiness at least for a little while longer.
